Things went well. They arrived on time and did a good job of running cable behind our wall and installing a new outlet. Clean job with no wall damage. It was a bit more expensive than I anticipated, but the quote was based on a job that was less complicated than what we ended up needing. Price ~$450 for about 2.5 hour job + materials.

First Class and professional throughout the process. i spoke to Charlie over the phone about what I wanted. He took the time to go over everything and ask questions He was able to schedule me very quickly. Rick and Owen did the installation. They were very thorough. They investigated the wiring already in the house and came up with a plan to connect everything without having to run any additional wires. They made sure everything was working before they left. They really tried to make sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. Kathy is extremely friendly and responsive. The whole company takes pride in what they do and sincerely want the customer to be satisfied.

They purchased the TV for me, installed it, and took away my old equipment. I would highly recommend them for any small jobs that a reader may have. The total cost will vary depending on the cost of the TV selected. The hourly labor rate is $100.

C H Tel as a company was terrific from the time I called them in inquire if they did the type of work I needed done. They were courteous and professional on the phone and did everything they promised they would do, at a reasonable cost. I had some CAT cabling that was not working and they traced the problem and fixed it. Ivaylo Banev (technician) also did everything he could to set up the system to get ATMOS sound working before we came to the conclusion that there is an issue with my sound bar itself. He was fast and efficient but thorough. I would definitely hire C H Tel again in a minute!

The job went very well. Charlie was very detailed on the phone and gave me an estimate. Rick and Cole (?) came out and gave me an estimate less than Charlie's after they saw what needed to be done (which was good because I thought the job would be tougher than that). They were very professional and did excellent work. I may have been able to get a handyman it for a bit cheaper, but I doubt the quality would have been on par.

OVERALL: My overall experience with this company was excellent. Charlie was professional, informative, and in frequent communication with me throughout the entire process. This ranged from answering initial questions about their services, to helping me shape my requirement, and working closely with me to ensure the scope of the project both met my needs and fit into my project budget. PRICE: Evaluating price is challenging since I have never previously had Ethernet professionally installed. The install was a significant cost, but there weren't any surprises so I was satisfied with the pricing. Charlie was clear and up front about their pricing model and sent out a team to survey my home in order to provide the most accurate estimate possible. After receiving the estimate, Charlie worked with me to frame the project within my budget. In the end, I received the install I wanted and Charlie honored the price we negotiated. QUALITY: The quality of work was very high. Rick and his team made a point to cause minimal damage during install (I am referring to limited the size and number of holes required to pull cable). Once the CAT-6 was pulled to the rooms, they labeled every port in each room and where the cables terminated down on the server rack. I also watched them test each port to ensure it was working properly and troubleshoot the one or two that caused some initial problems. They also installed the rack extremely securely, and ran a CAT-6 line outside, looped under my Verizon FIOS ONT, to allow an easy connection for the FIOS technician (who was installing a new ONT and connecting me to Ethernet vs coax). Also, all cable runs through my (unfinished) basement were bound with zip ties and run through inconspicuous areas. RESPONSIVENESS: CH-TEL was highly responsive. I gave a call to Charlie with some questions, and he happily answered and gave me some additional ideas to think about. After a few days, Charlie called back and we discussed some remaining questions and concerns I had and worked out a plan. During that conversation Charlie asked to send one of his guys to my home to get a more realistic estimate of the job (which I agreed to). Following Rick's visit to my home, Charlie and I agreed on the scope / cost of the job and then had a team out almost immediately (it may have actually been the following day). PUNCTUALITY: Excellent. The team was always on time, and they actually started a day earlier than planned (which we discussed prior) to get an early start on the work and help fit the job within my timeline. PROFESSIONALISM: Rick and his team were extremely professional. They were fast, efficient, and flexible. When we ran into some challenges (I was unable to run conduit from my basement to attic through the walls) Rick communicated the problem and we worked together to quickly agree on an alternate way forward.

I have a 25 year old phone system in my house, and we recently switched from Verizon copper to Comcast digital. CH Tel came in and connected the Comcast line to my old phone switch. They made it look easy (it would have been impossible for me), and everything is working perfectly. It is wonderful when something is done so well.

Let me say this again. We are extremely pleased. Had the work done while wife was out of the house(No need for extra inputs.. :-) ) She returned later that day and the first words out of her mouth were ..WOW. We are really enjoying the 4K experience. Will probably have to upgrade our other sets now that we are spoiled. I would say get your TV, give them a call , discuss the installation, go do something else and then finally enjoy life!!!

I spoke with the owner, Charlie while scheduling, which was super helpful full since I really didn’t know what I was doing and he was able to advise me and guide me through how the process. His techs were amazing. They showed up on time and were very effient and repectful to our home. We had numerous workmen at our home while they were here and they were the only techs I felt I didn’t have to keep an eye on. They confirmed the owner’s evaluation and went over the work that needed to be done and the costs before they started the job. It was a huge task ( took two days) but they were awesome! Their work was tidy, they even tidied up wiring that weren’t theirs including removing the old satellite dish from the roof and the multipule ancient cables hanging off our house! They were easy to communicate with and patiently answered my hundreds of questions. When they were finished they even took the time to hook-up all of our TVs and programmed them. My husband and I were so thankful for this company’s kindness and professionalism during a very hectic time in our lives. We would use them in a heartbeat!

The technicians were excellent: efficient, professional, highly-skilled, pleasant, and eagerly answered all my questions. It was the ideal of what a home service call should be.

Charlie Hertel sent his guys out the day after I called (I could have had service the same day, but the next day was more convenient for me) and it took them maybe 10 minutes to diagnose the problem: an old second phone line, installed 30 years ago by the previous residents (never used by me), interfering at the junction box with my active line. (And yes, I told the previous electrician about the old second line.) They also set up my new modem/router, so I could make sure that everything was working before they left. I could not have been happier with the service.

I called CH Tel Co. in Angie's List because they specialize in home entertainment systems & a lot of other audio-video services. They were prompt & fantastic. Reasonably prices. VERY professional, High recommend.

Provider drilled four holes and fitted the anchors into the the wall, then mounted the TV . Turned out the mount we explained (over the phone) that was needed, was not the mount that was delivered & mounted. The wrong mount was taken down, but the holes in our wall were left unsealed. The purchase price was refunded, however.

CH Tel embraced the mission impossible and did a fantastic job. Everything works beautifully. Charlie and his team are not only professionals through and through, they are also such a joy to work with. Rarely have I seen a company where everybody cares that much about the quality of work and the relationship with the customer. So professional and at the same time very personable, funny and relaxed. My kind of people! I will hire them again, to figure out the next challenge - the perfect place for our tv.

They took too long, the price they charged was excessive and I had to repair the holes that were put into the drywall because they didn't know how to do it properly.
