The contractor, Andrew was attentive & sensitive to our loss & very flexible with dealing with our ins co as well as mortgage company as far as disbursement proceeds from the job. He got back to adjuster very quickly with estimate & immediately began working on the project. When he wasn't on site he had a qualified master carpenter on site to supervise all work which was done excellent & all the workers on the job including subcontractors electrician Bill & plumber Bron performed the work & we are so happy with the outcome of the house. The team he had to drywall finished all the drywall for our 2800 sq ft house in one day! Also when we requested or asked for changes they were all expensed so we knew the addl cost & will be looking forward to the completion of these extra items here soon. Also important...Andrew was on target with the move in date which he told us at the beginning what his expectations were for when we could move back into the house. He was also very patient & understanding of the insurance company process with disbursement of funds etc. we enjoyed working with Andrew & also his interior designer is doing an excellent job helping us with the finishing details for design. We very highly recommend Tidewater Construction LLC & will have Andrew & his crew do some addl jobs in the future.

Andrew Lord gave us an estimate for a major renovation project on a home we were looking to purchase. He went above an beyond to create the estimate over a very short period of time, as we needed the estimate for the bank that was doing our loan. We got a rough estimate within less than 24 hours, and an itemized estimate within less than 48 hours. He then worked with us to adjust the cost of the project so that it fell within our budget. He was incredibly responsive and really helped us when we were on a narrow time allowance. He had excellent knowledge of the work he would be doing and was very professional. While we did not go through in buying the house, we plan on contacting Andrew in the future for renovation needs.

His pricing was fair, he was very easy to work with, very responsive to my calls, and his workers were all very professional and did an excellent job. Mr. Lord was on top of all aspects of the job which involved a cement foundation, framing, drywall, painting, flooring and all electrical work. I was extremely satisfied with the result and will hire him for another project next year.

It has gone very well. we are pleased with all the work, good quality workmanship. workers are friendly and respectful and clean up after themselves every day. We will definitely use them again for future work.

I used Tidewater Construction for my basement remodel and was thrilled with the work. I had several landscapers come to give me estimates for the work in the backyard but in the end I went with a company I trust that I know does great work. Andrew and his team came in on a Wednesday and the work was done by Thursday evening. I wanted to add some extra sod to the side and he had that taken care of by Friday. Hurricane Sandy just rolled through town and I had no problems with drainage. I will continue using Tidewater.

I had 6 contractors give me quotes to finish my basement. The quote from Tidewater Construction, LLC came in around the middle as far as price went but the quality of service was top-notch. The owner of the company, Andrew Lord, was present almost every day during the remodel and his crew was professional and courteous. Andrew was happy to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had. I didn't want to be overwhelmed with choices of fixtures, tiles, carpet, etc. and Andrew was happy to give me a few choices and let me just pick what I liked. In addition, he extended a bedroom closet for me and installed some bathroom vent fans in other areas of the house. I was thrilled with the quality of the work. In Sept, a couple months after it was finished, we had rain storms and, because of drainage issues in my backyard, the basement flooded. I was out of town and Andrew rushed over to help my uncle stop the water getting in and clean out the water that had already covered the entire floor. I had to have a few things re-done and Andrew was able to get the work done at a very reasonable price. I refer Tidewater Construction, LLC to my friends and family and will continue to use their services in the future.
