Description of Work: I contacted mowing and more because of the great reviews I read on Angie's list. I agree with the positive reviews- Chad was very professional, punctual, responsive, and thorough. He catered to what we needed with the yard, which was mostly weeding and yard clean up. The workers were awesome- did a great job. I probably could've found someone to do it for a bit cheaper, but I wanted high quality and I wanted it done soon, and that's what I got. I definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I signed with Mowing & More for an annual lawn care contract which includes spring cleanup, mulching, weeding, mowing, lawn care treatments and leaf cleanup in the fall. Since the crew began in early April I have been pleased with the level of service and the yard always looks beautiful after each weekly visit. They are a little higher priced than some of their competitors that I interviewed but their work has been impeccable. They provide a menu of services which you can cherry pick from depending on your needs or budget so I have not filled in the cost of service as that will vary depending on your individual contract. Know that the largest one-time expense is the spring mulching. I have large mulched planting beds which put me north of $1000 for the mulching service. All other services are billed monthly as they are performed such as mowing and weeding. I have not experienced the fall leaf cleanup yet, but the contract states that this is billed by man hours. Lastly, be aware this is not a landscaping company or garden center that also performs maintenance. If you are looking for a company to plant annuals, tree trim or relocate your boxwoods you will probably need to look elsewhere.

His crew arrived when promised and performed excellent work carefully and quickly for the agreed-upon amount. I will definitely use Mowing and More again!
Description of Work: Mowing and More cleared our multi-level, varied-pitch roof (with multiple crickets) and gutters of a huge accumulation of oak leaves; then cleared every corner, bush, and open area of an even larger accumulation of oak leaves and acorns.

The owner of the company is very responsive; if I can’t get him on the phone when I call, he will call me back promptly. I have been very happy with their responsiveness.

+ 0 moreChad Stern is the owner and very conscientious. He responds quickly and politely. He often comes by to check on work performed, and even takes photos of it. Extremely nice person, easy to do business with. His crews are sometimes difficult to communicate with. Having contracted for a year of general yard service, it was sometimes uncomfortable to pay $45 for weeding on schedule, when I knew that the crew only had to spend 5-10 minutes to remove a very few weeds. I would, in the future, use Mowing and More without hesitation, but would only have mowing, seeding, and fertilzation as fixed times/costs. Trimming, weeding, etc, I would request when I felt it was necessary and would pay an hourly rate as required. The work was always done, something that other companies fell short on in the past (especially leaf removal in the fall). Thank you, Mowing and More!
