I'm very happy with the service I received from this company. My back yard had gotten very heavily overgrown with weeds, including poison ivy, while I was recovering from surgery. Chad was prompt in returning my calls, and I especially liked his professionalism in having a signed contract before the work began. The workers themselves were amazing; I didn't see how they were going to do all the work in one day with just two guys, but they got it done in just a couple of hours! Would definitely recommend.

This company was great! I contacted over 10 companies trying to find one that used email (so I could send pictures) and could make appointments (since I had a backyard area which can't be accessed without a key). Chad emailed me back very quickly and scheduled a time to come give me an estimate. Their price was very fair compared to others and his minimum was also very low. This was important to me because for many companies, my yard is so small it's below their minimum. Everything looked great after the crew was done and theyconfirmed with me that there was nothing else I wanted them to do before I left. They are a great company and I've even already scheduled them for my father's house.

Chad was very professional in all of his dealings with us. He came first to do a complete assessment of the work that needed to be done. We received a very detailed proposal a couple of days later, which we accepted. His work crew came on the promised date and did a great job of cleaning up the area around our house and making it look good again. They hand-weeded everywhere, including some weeds that were over a foot tall. They removed a lot of ivy growing on the house, trees and fence. They trimmed several bushes and shrubs, and removed poison ivy throughout the yard. I was very impressed with Mowing & More, and will definitely use them again.

After doing considerable research on Angie's List, I found Mowing and More and chose them to provide lawn mowing and trimming services because of the strength in their ratings. I contacted the company to garner a quote. Chad, the owner, quickly and promptly responded. He came to my house to view the size of the yard and provided a quote, with which I agreed. It was a very reasonable and competitive price. The services have been outstanding. They have performed mowing and lawn trimming services for well over a year now and I could not be happier with the services. They are always on-time, showing up every week on the same day, same time. The lawn mowing is thorough, trimmed to a perfect and professional length, not too long and not too short. They resurrected some dead patches (which were present before Mowing and More started). The yard is always cleaned up very nicely and thoroughly afterward, with all the blades of grass blown and removed, not only from the grass itself but from my driveway, porches, etc. Chad is always fast to respond to emails or phone calls; he is extremely polite and professional. I have been very happy with the services provided; they're they best lawn mowing and yard care services I have ever used.

They do their job well and are dependable, although as you can see very expensive.

The quote was delivered in a thorough, professional manner and they were very responsive to all our questions. The quotation was the best price out of a number of quotes we'd obtained, and they were the only service we talked to who could also provide ongoing maintenance. We continued to use them for continued maintenance of mowing/weeding throughout the summer/fall and are very happy with the quality of work. They did everything they said they would, and no corners were cut. Will probably use them to do a gutter cleaning in the spring, too. Highly recommend!

Great job. Fast, reliable service. $145.00 for leaf blowing seemed high, but quoted in advance so no surprises.

I hired Mowing and More to mow my lawn every other week, to do a spring clean up and to clean my gutters. It took the person I spoke with 3 different times, sending the contract back and forth via email to get the contract to actually reflect the work we discussed. I should have taken that as a sign, but since they had such good reviews I figured it was just one of those things that happen. After the contract was signed I asked when the clean up and gutter cleaning would take place. The response was that the spring clean up would take place a week later and the gutter cleaning in June. After five weeks of waiting for my spring cleaning, I had to send an email reminding them that they were a month overdue from their service date. No one contacted me to let me know things would be delayed or to give me a new timeline. Once again they just randomly showed up one day with no notice. In the same email I asked that the gate always be closed. I was assured it would be. One day after returning from errands, I noticed that the lawn had just been mowed, but somehow the crew had knocked over an entire can of paint stored on a walkway near my home--and left without attempting to clean it up. When I emailed to report the issue I was assured that someone would come--at an undisclosed time--to clean up the mess. When I went to inspect the area the paint had been cleaned up from the spill area, but whomever did the clean-up spread a trail of paint drips all over my pavers. When I emailed back about the drips I get a curt email back about how it is now taken care of, again without knowing someone was coming, but that there is discoloration due the scraping that had to take place to get the paint up and the weathering on the walkway. Fine. The mowing itself has been satisfactory besides the fact that there is no schedule, they just showed up on different days and at different times each week. This seemed abnormal, but I let it go. But really unless your home is vacant all day how do you know when you can utilize your yard or when your children can be outside if you have no idea when mowing will take place. We have small children and a dog and the crew was constantly leaving my gate ajar--which could have been disasterous if I happened not to notice that they had been there that particular day and one of my toddlers wandered out. Is closing the gate behind yourself too much to ask of a professional mowing service? It is now the end of June, the month the gutter cleaning is supposed to take place so I email stating that June is nearly over and ask for a date and time that the gutters will be cleaned. They email back a two-line email saying that they cannot give an exact date and that since I wanted to know when they would be performing the service they promissed to provide they could no longer provide said service. Absolutely ridiculous. I am very glad to be rid of a company with such horrible service but I am also baffled by they way they run their operation. No remorse for their poor poor service. And needing a date and time when men are going to be scaling your two story home for a couple of hours is not unreasonable. Throughout it all they were fairly quick in replying and apologizing but things kept happening and then they act like wanting a time is unreasonable I only ever sent emails, but was never anything more than firm in my correspondence. I have saved all emails and replies and have pictures of the paint incident.

Mowning & More are quite excellent. They were punctual and responsive and heir price was fair.

I have used them several times. They are always on time, give fair estimates and do great work.

They always do a good job. Chad (the owner) is very responsive to any special requests.

I called to get an estimate for aeration and overseeding of my lawn. . The person who answered my call said they would be out that week to give me an estimate. No one ever showed up nor did i hear from them again. This company is unreliable and I would not recommend them

Chad's crew was terrific! Even though it rained every day the week leading up to my event, he dispatched them on a rainy, cold Tuesday to do the work and they finished in one day--earlier than the two days Chad had projected for the job. They dug up and moved a 3-year old fig tree exactly where I had indicated with marker paint (I wasn't able to be home the day of the work); they pulled a massive number of weeds that were taking over, mulched all of the areas beautifully and did not damage a one of the tiny annuals I had just put in the previous weekend. The mulch was high-quality with none of those awful giant gnats that you sometimes get in fresh mulch and the depth was very good - they didn't skimp. They also topped off my waist-high vegetable gardening boxes with what appears to be good quality soil (no clay) and leveled the 3 boxes beautifully. An added surprise--they trimmed my front hedges and cleaned all of the leaves and debris from my basement walkout drain! Chad emailed and called when the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. He was concerned that because it had been raining, the mulch was clinging to the paver walkways and to some of the small plants; he offered to have the crew come back when things dried out a bit to clean it further (there was no need; the landscape was lovely). I am very pleased with Mowing & More and I won't hesitate to use them regularly.

Overall having Mowing & More do the spring cleanup and monthly mowing has been a very positive experience. My questions regarding the lawn in the back yard (which is very shady) have been answered promptly and professionally by Chad via email. Unlike my experience with other yard work companies, the billing has also been easy and clear. I appreciate being able to write any comments I have about the service on the invoice - Mowing & More clearly wants to get feedback and provide excellent customer service.

His team mows my lawn weekly, and also completed one project for me, which was a fairly extensive removal of wisteria that had been growing for years and had overtaken one side of our yard. He provided a fair price for this project (roundup week one, removal week two), completed it on time, and did a phenomenal job w/ it, far exceeding my expectations. We have only had one small issue related to our mowing, and it was resolved promptly, professionally, and in a very timely fashion.

The owner came out when he promised. His crew is consitantly ontime and professional. We have them mowing our yard once a week and they are doing a great job. They show up, clean-up after themselves and take care of my plants. I highly recommend them.

The company representative took photos of our yard and emailed us a quote within the day. The company provided the services requested without delay. The work was excellent -- exactly what we had asked for. We would absolutely use this company again in the future.

Chad responded promptly to our initial call and came out within a few days to meet with us. We had an estimate within a few days and the contract was specific on exactly what work would be completed. Once a date was agreed upon to complete the work, the crew came out as expected and worked the entire day. They were thorough and cleaned up all the scraps and debris. The results are amazing; we had no idea what a great patio was under all of the foliage. We are quite happy and impressed with the work that was done.

They were pretty good but were expensive. They did a good job and were very reliable. We were getting married in our back yard and it was a wreck so they cleaned it up.
