This guy is a total crook!!!! Avoid him and if you see him, report him!!! He started the work before the inspection. We paid him a deposit and we were to pay him after the midpoint inspection. He started the work fine. We passed the midpoint inspection which was through a third party inspection. It was very relaxed inspection at best. We paid him after we passed the inspection and that was the last we saw of him. After multiple calls, he finally showed up to do some minor things on the house. Then we didn't hear from him again. He left with the money and has been unable to be reached. We had to hire another electrician to finish the job. It turned out he had cut so many corners and missed so many vital important things in the house that it set us back another $6000 to finish his lousy work. This guy is awful and whatever you do, do not hire him or give him any money. It turns out he doesn't even have a valid electrical license.

The seller's agent provided us with Mr. Chavez's telephone number so we could call him to fix the job. We called him on a Tuesday morning, and we discussed the problem and possible solutions, including adding an additional loop around the fan that would be secured on the "third side" to the metal housing. He agreed to fix it. He said he was not available until Friday morning, which we set as an appointment at 9:00 a.m. He failed to show Friday morning. We called him, and he claimed he had completely forgotten and would need to reschedule for Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. He again stood us up Saturday morning. We again called him and left a voicemail and a text message, neither of which he has returned. It has been a week since then, and we have still not heard from Mr. Chavez. We want Mr. Chavez to return and perform the work he promised, to properly install the fan so it does not cause buzzing vibrations throughout the upstairs.
