Working with Frank was a pleasure. It was easy to schedule the pick-up and he and his crew member arrived early (after calling) and worked quickly. It turned out we live only a mile apart so it was fun to share impressions about what's happening in the neighborhood. Frank applied the 'first time'credit for Angie's List members, which I had forgotten about.

The provider arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was prepared to begin his work upon arrival. He and his helpers were very efficient in their efforts and responded promptly to all of my requests and suggestions. They swept the area were items were revomoved at the end of each of the three sessions that were required to remove all of my unwanted items. The provider and his staff were professional in their behavior, pleasant in their demeanor, and neat in their appearance. Since I am a semi-hoarder I expect to need a trash removal service in the future. When that occurs I will eagerly seek the services of Junk in the Trunk, LLC.

The company scheduled my service in advance. The person I dealt with was polite and friendly. The workers showed up on time and started working. They were scheduled to haul away a full truck's worth of items (you reserve all or a portion of their truck, and the job is priced accordingly). About half way through the job they started slowing down and wanted to pack up and leave when the tech was about half full. I just laughed and told them I'd gotten a whole truck, and that there was still a great deal to go. They didn't push any further and kept hauling without complaint. I wonder if they get sent out to a job without being told how big a job it will be. There was one load where the guys thought they'd found items of great value. They stage whispered about the particular load and how they would "set it aside." They didn't have the grace to say anything to me about it (and I didn't bother to ask) but it made the whole process feel more adversarial. My issue with this company is that advertise themselves as being environmentally responsible. Thei idea is that they come and pick items up and then they sell or refurbish what they can and take the rest to the junkyard. The owner then gets a summary of the salvaged items and either money back or proof of disposition, to deduct on taxes as a charitable contribution. In my case, the truck pulled away and I never heard from them again. There were solid wood filing cabinets in good condition, as well as a few other things that would have been appropriate for Goodwill or craigslist, but there was never any woed from Junk in the Trunk that they had done anything but toss them or sell them and keep the proceeds. So, if you want to pay to have things hauled away and nothing more, this company is fine. If you expect them to live up to their promises about how they will handle your items, I can't recommend thembb

We used Junk in the Trunk several times over the span of a month or so and each time they responded prompt;y to our requests, arrived on time and worked quickly, thoroughly, and carefully; never leaving debris behind and never nicking walls or other painted areas.

We needed to get everything out of our basement in preparation for waterproofing and remodeling. I called on a Wednesday and they were able to come on Saturday for the pick up. They were prompt, quick and efficient. I pointed at a pile and they took it away! Simple as that. They were also very careful about not bumping any walls when they carried the dresser out around some tight turns.

This is the third hauling company I've used as I get rid of old items accumulated by me and a deceased relative. Junk in the Trunk was by far the best of the three! They were scheduled to arrive between 1:00 and 2:00 but called at 12:00 to ask if they could come a bit early. They arrived at 12:30, did a quick estimate and then moved everything out to the truck. Very pleasant, professional and the price, which included a $10 Angie's List discount, was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely use them again.

They were good. Those guys were unbelievable. I called a couple of people that didn't respond. I called them they responded quickly. I told them what I had and we agreed to a price. They scheduled to come out and they called me up a day before and had a cancellation. They asked me if it would be alright if they came, I said I wouldn't be there to pay them. They said don't worry about it. Then I never got a bill. So I ended up waiting two weeks and finally sending them an email asking them what the price was so I could send them the check. He emailed to me the bill right away. The charge to me was very fair and it was what we had agreed on. I just couldn't believe their responsiveness. The quality of the service was excellent. They post their rates online, they tell you the size of the truck and what constitutes different truck loads- charges for full truckload or half truck load or whatever. When I told them what I had, they estimated what the truckload charge would be.

Frank and Brandon were right on time, and we toured everything that was to be taken away. Frank then gave me the estimate, which was well within what we were prepared to spend. There were other providers with very good ratings on Angies List, but I chose Junk in the Trunk because they don't simply take everything to a landfill. They sort through things as they put them on the truck to determined what can be recycled and what can be donated for use by others. Then they do the recycling and donating. I really appreciate that they practice good stewardship of the environment and help me put usable items to use. Frank and Brandon were very professional and efficient. They were also quite personable and didn't slow down or complain when it started to rain. The work took almost two hours. This was not an easy job. They cleaned up after they were done, including sweeping up much dust and dirt from my husband's plant re-potting area. This required a mask, so as not to choke. Overall, they did a superb job. I couldn't be more pleased.

I have used this company a few times and each time I am pleased with them. Their pricing is always fair and reasonable. Frank and his guys arrived on time and efficiently collected and removed furniture and boxes from different floors in my home and other items from my garage. They took great care removing these items and even generously swept out my garage before leaving! That is what you call going the extra mile. For me, they are my go to company for this type of work. I am so glad I found them on Angie's List!

Great communication - we were able to send pictures of stuff to them and get an estimate over email. They were quick in responding and showed up on time and ready to go. i felt the price was a little bit higher compared to some others but they had great reviews and our experience with them was great. They hauled everything into the truck in 30 minutes - granted we had all our stuff outside the house for them already but they still had to carry from the backyard to the truck. Overall we had a great experience with them and we would highly recommend them.

jAn excellent experience. Frank's the best--he communicates well, and is prompt, courteous and reliable. This time he and his collleague arrived early (after calling first), and did a great job (fast, but very careful) of removing many items, including a very heavy piece of exercise equipment which they carried down from my loft bedroom with nary a scratch on any walls. I highly recommend JITT.

My call to inquire about services was answered promptly by the owner, and I was able to schedule an appointment for a few days ahead. About an hour ahead of scheduled appointment time I was called by owner to ask if they might come earlier than scheduled, which was fine with me. Upon arrival, the owner looked over my stuff and explained pricing in detail. The two man crew (one of whom was the owner) worked quickly, carefully and thoroughly and were very courteous. I wound up adding some items I didn't think of previously and the additional cost (quite reasonable) was discussed and agreed upon before the items were loaded into the truck- no surprises! I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

It was very good. They were very friendly and nice, and did a good job. We would use them again for sure. He actually was very nice to me. I think they had like a minimum fee of $120 and he had an Angie's List discount and then he gave me another discount because we didn't have a lot of stuff, it was just heavy, so he dropped the price to like $96 which was very nice. They were very prompt. The owner was texting me and calling me right away even on a Sunday to answer my questions. I was able to communicate with them very quickly. I sent him a picture on my cellphone of what I had so that was great. He knew exactly what we had and if he would do it and all that stuff. He was very nice. He showed up on time and was very quick. The whole experience is good.

They provided a great service overall. Junk in the Trunk was quick to respond to my voicemail and kept in touch before the appointment. I was arranging this last minute but they were able to schedule a time the following afternoon. Junk in the Trunk arrived on time and was quick to start moving the couch. The service elevator had been in use by a moving company so they started moving the couch down the stairwell. Unfortunately for the guys, they maneuvered the couch down the stairs just seconds before the service elevator was returned to normal operation. All of this only took about 20 minutes. The guys were friendly and careful of doing any damage to the hall or doorways. Price was as quoted and was better than other hauling/removal companies. It was great seeing that old couch go away!

They were really great! Responsive and punctual! They came exactly when they said he would and were very nice. They even found a way to get the junk out of my little backyard without going through the house. Would refer them to a friend

These guys are the BEST! Returned my voicemail almost immediately, arrived on time, affordable, friendly, well-equiped (had a mobile device for credit card payment, swept the street before leaving). We have had a few weeks of really bad contractor experiences, but these guys changed our whole mood with their great service! Plus we have a lot of empty space where all the trash used to be!

EXCELLENT! Frank called and confirmed time and address with me the night before. He showed up exactly on time-- with 2 assistants. All 3 guys were friendly, professional and very efficient. Frank did a walk through, gave me an estimate and applied all promised discounts. The guys worked quickly, and were sure to ask if I was happy with everything. I will definitely call on Frank again-- would highly recommend this company!

They called to update their availability, showed up early, provided pricing estimates and updates as I asked about/added more items, were good humored and extremely polite and helpful, and wanted to be sure that I got what I expected/paid for from their service. They separated items in such a way that I really do believe that as much stuff as possible gets recycled/reused and that the rest is properly disposed.

Service was great - Frank arrived on time, gave us a price and had our junk hauled in no more than 20 minutes. The price was great especially given they were taking a large number of very big and heavy tree rounds. They also cleaned and swept both areas they removed trash from. All in all a great experience - we wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend to others.

I recently removed the floor boards in my attic resuling in a sizeable pile of wood in my back yard. Just a couple days after calling, Frank and Francis arrived right at the scheduled time and provided an estimate on site. Their estimate for the material was $100 cheaper than angie's list's so-called big deal for the same service. To boot, Frank offered to haul a few bags of yard clippings and a small flat screen tv at no extra charge. Oh yeah, they cleaned up the backyard after removing the wood. A+++++++++++

Frank and Francis arrived on time, provided me an estimate and removed all the items in about 1.5 hours. I probably filled 2/3 of his truck with items I didn't need anymore and he did it quickly, politely, and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent experience and would hire again without hesitation.

The owner of Junk in the Trunk was quick to respond to my email request. With fast coordinations of time and place for the pick up, Junk in the Trunk was on its way. The pick up was completed in a timely and efficient manner. We were happy.

Arrived within the prescribed time window. Quickly and professional removed all items from inside and outside of my home. Put in extra effort to ensure that outside area was free of all remaining debris. I am 100% pleased with my experience with Junk in the Trunk. From initial inquiry to delivery of service Frank (and his on the job assistant) met and exceeded my expectations. I will happily do business with the company again and will recommend the service to others without hesitation. When I take opportunity costs into consideration--the time and effort it would have taken me to do the job myself--the service was more than worth the expense.
