+ -1 moreElectrician showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally to complete all tasks cleaning up all mess made by him. Requested my input and followed my requests to the letter. I would most certainly use their service if/when needed in the future.
Description of Work: Tim, at Advantage Electric, has done numerous jobs for me over the past year including: Wiring for and installing indoor and outdoor ceiling fans, rope lighting for my porch, adding an outdoor outlet, motion detector lighting, provided power and an outlet for my retractable screen porch, and most recently, inside dimmers switches, and behind-the-wall wiring and installation of a flat screen TV in my library.

+ -1 moreIt went very smoothly. Most of the cost was the PoE switches.
Description of Work: In our new house, the exterior floodlights above the rear garage door (our garage has 3 bays, 2 front, and 1 small one in the back) were operated solely by a switch in the garage. I needed a way to control those lights from inside as well. Rather than splice into a circuit in the garage (which I had traced out for him), Tim, the owner/operator of Advantage Electric suggested going high tech, and installing two PoE switches, which he did (I should have thought of that, but I retired from playing with ethernet before these things hit the consumer market). They're not cheap, but the alternative (climbing, cutting, splicing, installing new junction box, etc.) would have been at least as expensive. After a year, they still work as advertised, and I can operate all the rear garage floods (over the door and at the corner of the eaves nearby) from a single switch, inside the house, as well as from the garage.

+ -1 moreI had a couple of outlets replaced recently. I have used them in the past to install an instant hot water system. The unit that they installed for this project ended up going bad but they were able to replace it almost immediately. They do excellent work all around and are very professional. They are very punctual and I will use them again.
