I was given some of the best work I've ever seen from a roofing company at a very affordable price. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They have my highest recommendation.

NewBrook did a great job on my recent roof repair. We had a small but persistent leak in the flashing near our chimney. NewBrook came exactly when they said they would, gave me a detailed report of the issue including photographs. The work was scheduled when it was convenient for me and the job was done in a few hours. Great work, friendly and punctual. NewBrook will be my first call the next time I need roof work.

I chose NewBrook Home Improvement to replace the roofing on my house. Mr. McDermott is professional and personable and seems to really care about the quality of work provided by his company. His quote was not the lowest I received, but it was fair as the quality of materials he uses are better than what others offered. The work was performed exactly as scheduled and their cleanup was thorough. My only reservation about my new roof is the appearance and has nothing to do with the quality of the job done. Mr. McDermott has assured me that this is the way this new roofing appears. My husband (who has worked around new residential construction for over 30yrs.) has told me that the work is fine and is very satisfied. These shingles are not the traditional uniform rectangular shingles. The shapes are random and this can look sloppy in some areas. The pictures of the product in the brochure do not look quite as random as the actual finished product, something you might take into account if you are considering this product.

From my initial contact with Newbrook until the job was complete, everything went extremely smooth. After my initial contact with them, Joe came to the house and provided a written estimate. He also brought window samples. The window model I purchased (Revere Berkshire Elites double pane) are well known for their energy efficiency (better than Energy Star standards) and modern design (very thin frames which equate to a higher visible glass area). Once my wife and I agreed that Newbrook presented the best value after mulling it over several days, we provided a deposit and signed on the dotted line. From that point, about one week later a very professional gentleman (Carlos) from the installation crew came out and measured all of the windows. Subsequently, the window installation happened approximately 5 weeks after this. Carlos, the same individual who measured the windows, showed up to head up the installation. Speaking of the installation, I had done quite a bit of research on the proper way to install vinyl replacement windows. In fact, I obtained the installation instructions directly from Alside (the window manufacturer, parent company of Revere). I was very happy with the installation - the windows were a nice, snug fit in the existing framing. Low expanding foam was inserted around all gaps, the caulking was high quality and aesthetically pleasing, and the aluminum capping was to spec. They also replaced the rotted wood as promised prior to capping. The crew cleaned the inside and outside of every window prior to leaving and left no trash behind. I should also mention that both Joe and his partner, Dermott (the owner of Newbrook) came to my house during the install and inspected the installation as it was unfolding. The windows look fantastic - many times better than the original wood windows. I can already tell that the house is better insulated now - I adjusted the thermostat up 3 degrees and it only took about 20 minutes for the temperature to raise (it was about 40 degrees outside) - previously, it would take about 45 minutes to accomplish this. In summary, Newbrook has been a pleasure to deal with. No sales gimmicks - they gave me a great price right from the start without the hassle of negotiation. The installation is high quality, and the reputation of the window manufacturer (Alside) is something that can depended on (they've been in business since 1947, so if I ever have a warranty issue, chances are they'll still be around to take care of it). I attached four pictures of the front of my house. On one picture, the top windows have been replaced but the bottom windows have not. On the second picture, the bottom windows have been replaced. However, the capping and installation aren't complete. The third and fourth pictures show the windows after everything was completed.

NewBrook Home Improvement did a FABULOUS job! Dermot responded to my initial phone call right away, set up an appointment and came out to meet me within two days. He looked over the project and then took time to sit down and explain exactly what needed to be done to install a new roof. We set up a date for install. The materials and installers arrived on time and they did an awesome job. They cleaned up so well, you wouldn't have even known a roof had been torn off and a new one installed. Dermot came out to oversee the project and make sure everything went well. I recommend NewBrook Home Improvement for anyone looking for an honest, dependable and nice (important to me) company!

Work was performed on schedule with high attention to detail. Communication was excellent. There were no surprises and all interactions were professional.

Great. The crew came around 7:30 am and finished the job around 4:30 pm. I watched them work and they did everything as promised. They did a very good job and they cleaned up well. My new roof looks great. 24 square- The main section has gable ends. The part over the garage also has a gable. There's also a porch, a bay window and a small projection for a fireplace. I am happy with the craftsmanship.

Since the work was done inside, in the kitchen, they first covered everything with plastic. Then they carefully planned how to make their cuts for the skylights since our entire roof is tongue and groove covered with tar paper and shingles. It was important that each hole be cut to catch some of the boards on either side to maintain stability. Once the cuts were made, they installed the skylights, filled in the small gaps, put down new shingles (we had some left from the previous owners), and trimmed the skylights. They are watertight which was verified by the rain that came from the last tropical storm - more than 6 inches fell but none in the kitchen!

Having my roof replaced by NewBrook Home Improvement was a fantastic decision. When my husband and I moved into our home 4 years ago, we knew we would need to replace the roof at some point. The attached garage was added on by the previous owners (and wasn't done right, so we had leaking into our garage). Dermot came out and gave me a great quote. He didn't take too much of my time and didn't try to sell me right then and there like other large companies. After having a couple other companies out for quotes (and dealing with exploding offers if you sign the contract RIGHT NOW), we decided to go with HomeBrook. Dermot was great each step of the way and my old roof was removed and a new one replaced within 8 hours. With all the recent rain, we haven't had any leaking into the garage like before. I will be using NewBrook in the spring to replace my windows!

Great. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule a few times because of the ultimately unnecessary HOA approval process. They were very patient and worked with my schedule.

They arrived on time on Monday morning and completed the job by around noon. They were hard working and we would use them again!

We were very pleased from start to finish. We started off requesting companies to quote us on a new roof via HomeAdvisor. New Britain came out and was very professional and took all the time we needed with all the questions we had. This was a deviation from local competitors who used high-pressure sales tactics with us - real turn-off. New brick did not play those kind of games and we appreciated it. Not only were they the most reasonable quote, but they followed up during installation to make sure everything was right and we were completely satisfied. We would recommend them to anyone thanks so much for such a great job it looks fantastic.

The first meeting with Mr. McDermott, the owner, was very pleasant. There was no hard sell, just a presentation of his company's and his, qualifications, and the roofing replacement available. He was honest and readily answered any questions we had. My home, being a rancher with an attached oversized garage,is about 2x the sq. ft. of the usual 2-story home. He said it would be completed in 1 day, and it was. The crew arrived promptly, and worked without stop, except for lunch, for 11 1/2 hours. They were stripping the roof at 8:00 AM. There was the additional problem of having to replace 12 sheets of plywood, so was expecting the job to run into the next work day, but it did not. The crew was very polite and professional. A well oiled machine that wasted no time getting the job done in high heat and humidity...best time for roofing, but h****** the crew. Upon completion of installing the new roof, they cleaned the area so well, that when they left, the only sign that they had even been here was my beautiful new roof. I was impressed with the care they took not to damage plants and gutters, and with the way that they fitted the materials, including new plywood around my stone chimney,..no easy task. It took two tries to get it right, and they went the extra mile to do so. I would recommend this company for your roofing needs, and we will use them again for door replacement. Very impressed with everyone involved, and have already recommended this company to a friend..

Very friendly and professional. Thorough in explanation and easy to work with. Very trustworthy. Showed up on time and completed all work in a timely manner. We were completely impressed with the entire experience and would recommend them to anyone. Dermot is a wonderful guy - you'll be glad you contacted him. It's really the only call you need to make.

Provider responded in a timely manner to a request for quote. He was very prompt, courteous and friendly. We had discussions about indoor remodeling (paint, carpet, kitchen, bathrooms, etc). Provider was a great communicator during the entire process. He understood that I needed good workmanship but that the house was to be sold soon and that I had a fairly strict budget and time scale. Outside we settled on a new roof but he counseled me against new gutters as he felt the current ones only needed cleaning and were functional - refreshing honesty. I have not yet met with his interior man so I can't comment on that phase yet. I am a computer aided designer and made a model of the roof based on my and others detailed measurements. Some contractors are either intimidated or annoyed by this level of interaction but this provider was always receptive, courteous, and patient. Having experienced surly condescending contractors in the past this was refreshing and gave me confidence to proceed. I noticed damage to the siding in the front of the house and he was able to give me a quick estimate to help me make budget choices. The roofing crew came when they were scheduled to. Provider asked them to bend some sheet metal flashing for me which they did with no fuss or cost. From the ground the roof looks great and really enhances the look of the property. It is also quite clear to me that no corners were cut and that provider has and will stand behind his work long term. The crew finished on the second day after two days of brutal 92 deg (ground level) days. The cleanup was thorough with only a few small (dime sized) pieces left behind - having done roofing myself this is quite acceptable. I have other roofing jobs coming up probably in the next 5 years and will contact this provider for the job with confidence. By the way, this house will go on the market soon - it has water access, is 3 miles from shopping, is quiet, and is in the Huntingtown HS district near Prince Frederick, MD.

Excellent! The business owner arrive early for his scheduled appt for the estimate. He gave a fair price for a quality product and scheduled an install. The crew arrived at the specified time and were courteous and professional. The did an excellent job. I highly recommend this company and already have plans to hire them in the future.

I am extremely happy and have only good things to say about these guys and their installers. Everyone was very helpful and I am tickled with my new roof but my new windows are special indeed. I had 5 estimates and am extremely happy with my decision to use New Brook Home Improvement. The higher priced, more reviewed companies all say you get what you pay for. I paid what I considered to be a lot of money to New Brook but what these other companies wanted was more like a ransom. I paid less for triple pane windows than I what I was quoted for double pane. I got 50 year shingles for what others wanted me to pay for 25 year shingles. Call New Brook!
