Paid 1/2 down in cash and he failed to keep his scheduled installation date for later the same week but re-scheduled for the next week, knowing I was living in terror without a system having just been vandalized (reason for getting the system) and he knew that his scheduling was essential to the value of the bargain. He did not care but said that he had not had a vacation in years and wanted to take his wife to NYC over the weekend when installation was originally scheduled. He said nothing about this when we signed the original contract and set the installation schedule. Said he would come later in the week but again he was late in arriving and I, based on past experience, simply felt that I could not trust or believe in his word - that he would do what he promised when he promised. He offered to refund my payment which I accepted. He immediately returned my deposit and I hired another company outside of HomeAdvisor.
