 + -1 moreThey got the job done but over charged and some poor workmanship. Assistant used excessive glue on plastic pipes causing faucets to clog up repeatedly for weeks. They charged $850 for a pressure tank that Amazon sells for $330.
Description of Work: Reconnect electrical wires to well pump and install new pressure tank.

 + -1 moreThis company is amazing. Awesome customer service!!! We called late one afternoon and they were here the next morning. We needed a new well pump. They installed the new pump and pressure system. The job was done in 3 hours. They had everything they needed with them. It was wonderful to work with an efficient accommodating company in this day and age. Thank you!!

 + -1 moreOn a Saturday we discovered we had no water. We were expecting company the next day but thought we would have to cancel our plans because no one would come out on a weekend to fix the problem. Because I saw L and M had good reviews on a local community web page, I gave them a call. Dan came right over and began sequentially testing various aspects of the pump to troubleshoot the problem, eventually pulling the pump out. Although symptoms seem to indicate we needed a new pump, Dan first took the time to try to get the old pump working correctly. He was intially hopeful, but then it became obvious the old pump was not going to perform. He had to use a shovel to dig around the well cap (but took extra care not to harm my rose bushes). He installed a new pump and replaced it into the well. We knew our holding tank was very old and threatening to fail and flood, so we asked him to go ahead and replace that as well. Dan is a great guy with a good heart and a sense of humor. Our well is running better than ever. For privacy sake, I choose not to disclose the fee charged, but we have no complaints!

 + -1 moreWork went well and the price seemed reasonable for emergency service work. We had water back to the house by early afternoon.
Description of Work: About mid-morning we found that we had lost water pressue in the house. After checking the well pump gage, circuit breaker, and determining that there was power to the pump, I concluded that our well pump was not working properly. I contacted the company that had installed our well and was told that they could not send a crew out until the next day. I then contacted L&M services and spoke with the owner Dan Milligan. He was able to come out within one hour for a $35 service charge. Upon arrival, after checking electric current draw of the pump, he quickly determined that the pump had failed. Dan carries various size all stainless steel pump/motor combinations on his service truck and was able to pull the existing pump and replace it with a new pump and well pipe in about 3 hours. He quoted an installed price that credited the service charge and included checkout of the entire system including the pressure tank and switch.
