D&R Improvements

We have hired many contractors over the years, and don't recall any who have been nearly as exceptional in every way as Dave and his team. Both my wife and I cannot recommend D&R more highly.

David and his team renovated our entire second floor, including four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. He moved walls, plumbing and electric and installed new bath fixtures, vanities and tile, then painted and finished every inch just right. It was a long, large job, but David was always clear and precise about the process and the cost. The results are spectacular. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the design of our new living space. Now, we're preparing for D&R to remodel our kitchen. We're sure they'll do an equally fine job with that.

David Dunmyer did an exceptional job in laying our tiles for our new bathroom! He cared about every little detail and made sure that we had the bathroom of our dreams! He was always on time, cleaned up before he left, and was always respectful. We highly recommend him for any and all jobs!

D&R Improvement are experienced professionals. We will definitely be hiring them again for further renovations to our home.

I've worked with Dave now for several years on projects of less than $1000 and projects up to $100,000. No matter the cost, the same attention to detail is given. I find Dave to be honest, fair, trustworthy, and very hard working. Most recently, D&R Improvements repaired significant structural issues, installed new windows and Hardy siding. It was a large, daunting project, but throughout the process I had confidence in Dave and Wayne's abilities to restore the home to a condition I can be proud of. I strongly recommend them for any renovation, addition, or repair.

Dave has done an incredible job on my basement - sometimes, no - ALL of the time, it was like he was working on his own home. The professional craftsmanship, attention to detail and willingness to avail himself to our schedule was fantastic. The job was a ceiling to floor remodel: studding, drywall, finishing, painting, floor tiling to include a rebuilt powder room and spectacular bar and cabinetry. Even a dance room with 5 foot mirror, a ballet bar and wood flooring was part of the job! This guy can do it all! I looked forward to coming home every night to see the progress he made. It was like one Christmas morning after another! Great guy to work with and competitive prices that are eye-popping for the results delivered. You will not be sorry choosing D&R for your next project.

This originally started to be just one bathroom. D&R Imporvements did such an absolutely excellent job, we ended up getting a bedroom, large den, foyer and home office completely redone. All of the work was completed on time and within budget. We have recommended D&R to friends and neighbors.

I've used D&R for a variety of construction service. They understood the deadlines I was working with and performed well past expectations. One of the projects was an outside basement door that constantly leaked. D&R was able to point out how the old installation was incorrectly done and fixed it up, exceeding standards, due to the environment.

D&R is the best contractor we've ever had. Friendly, helpful, courteous, and he offered great suggestions that improved our plan. He did the work timely and professionally, and within budget. We couldn't be more pleased with how our project turned out. There are a lot of contractors out there, but D&R is the best! Five Stars for exceptional quality work!

The guys at D&R were great to work with, all the way from sending us (several) design options and estimates to figuring out creative ways to work around our existing structures and fit into various county setbacks on our property. We were always able to reach them by phone or email and get quick responses (usually within a few hours), even at night and on weekends. Everything was done exactly as promised. They even put our grill and doormats back out on the completed deck once everything was finished and completely cleaned up every last bit of material from the yard. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with this project

D&R Improvements did a beautiful job on my bathrooms. David, the owner, was quick to give me an estimate and always responded to my e-mails the same day I sent them, even if it was on a weekend. He scheduled the tile installlation on a Friday and had a plumber come out on a Sunday to reinstall the toilets so that we wouldn't have to spend any extra time without them. Everyone who did work on the house was very professional and nice. They even worked with my three child gates rather than make me take them down. All of this at a very reasonable price. I love my remodeled bathrooms and I highly recommend D&R Improvements!
