 + -1 moreFantastic. Scheduling was easy. Professional, very knowledgable. Tom showed up right on time. Worked very hard for 3 1/2 hours. Took the ductwork apart, thoroughly cleaned everything. Utilized powerful HEPA vacuum. Removed tons of debris that had been accumulating for many years. Extremely hard working and efficient. Gave me a few suggestions including new chimney caps (at a very reasonable price)No pressure whatsoever. Will absolutely use again.
Description of Work: Serviced and cleaned 1 fireplace flue and 1 oil furnace flue. Dis-assembled and cleaned all parts. Removed all material. Provided consultation with suggestions for improvements.

 + 0 moreIt went extremely well, especially the first service when they did the chimney sweep from inside only. Its not very clean work but they took the necessary steps to make sure there was no mess. When they were finished, you would have never know they just did a chimney was inside my house, it was spotless. That was real important to me and my wife. On the second service call to install the ring and fix the flue chain, again, work was done rapidly, and without any mess, both inside the house and up on the roof. Based on how often we use the fireplace, Tom suggested that we need only to repeat the sweep every 2 years.
Description of Work: First service was 12/12/2013 for a chimney sweep and to estimate a repair of my flue. They came when they said and went directly to work. It took about an hour and a half and they did it all inside the house because the chimney didn't have a ring which would allow them to sweep from the roof also. After the sweep, Tom, looked at the flue problem and said he would need to order a part. Also he suggested a ring for future sweeps to assist in sweeping from top side. I agreed and he said he would order the parts and get back to me. Within a week he called back and scheduled the repairs. We had to delay the original schedule because of weather but only for a couple days. He came back on the 27th with the parts. installed the ring and fixed the flue chain.

 + -1 moreFlue Masters was a referral from my real estate agent. Tom was very, very nice and he did an excellent job! He showed up on time, did his thing, told us about the life of our flu liners (this is our first home with a fireplace, so I didn't even know what a flu liner was), and when he left you couldn't even tell he'd been there. Highly recommended!

 + -1 moreTom was on time, communicated what he was doing, discussed work which needed to be done, but prioritized it based on what was critical vs. what should be done in the next 1-3 years. The chimney had not been used since we purchases teh house 6 years ago and not sure before then when it was last used. $175 for the sweep and service inspection, a good value for me. Glad to use him and would recommend. Schedule in advance as he is sought after or plan ahead for the fall/winter season. I was lucky to get a cancellation slot.

Description of Work: Made two trips to my house, first to evaluate my deteriorating flue liners, which he gave an honest assessment of (didn't get from others). Work not required immediately. no cost for the assessment, so I scheduled him out to clean 2 chimneys, at a slightly higher price than I could have gotten elsewhere, but considerint the assessment along with the cleaning, I am satisfied. Did excellent work, cleaned up, was very professional. I would use again.

 + -1 moreWE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE COMPANY WAS ABLE TO WORK AROUND OUR SCHEDULE. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER THERE WORK. THEY ALSO GAVE GOOD INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEXT TIME WE USE THE CHIMNEY.
