EC Roofing responded in a very timely fashion to the call and scheduled the work promptly. This is the second excellent experience with EC Roofing. Flashing on part of a lower roof had a gap which allowed entry into the attic by squirrels. Loose flashing was reattached and custom flashing was added to firmly close the gaps. The same tech that estimated the work came out to perform the work. EC Roofing is very knowledgeable and courteous and gave me expert advice on future roofing needs as I requested. Thank you!

Called EC Roofing and they responded very quickly. An accurate and very fair estimate was given and scheduled work within the same week. EC Roofing used quality materials and workmanship. The same person who gave the estimate also supervised the work and came back to make a small correction to the work. The work was performed in a timely manner and was of top quality. My sheds now have roofing of better quality than is on my house. The entire staff is knowledgeable, courteous and their prices are the best value considering the service we received. Thank you!

Great experience from start to finish. The owner Mike was prompt for appoinment and very professional. Spent 2 hours discussing options for new roof and decided to go with the Highland Slate with siding on the dormers where had been roofing shingles. Estimate was the most reasonable and each item was separately itemized for clarity and comparing to several other estimates. Mike was flexible on start of job as we were going out of town. Crew showed up on the promised date and worked 12 hour days to complete job in 3 1/2 days. Shrubbery was protected when removing old roof and site was completely cleaned at the end of each day. Removed old original galvanized gutters (even though I was going with another company for new gutters) and wrapped the fascia for the new gutters. Discovered serveral rotted areas when removing old shingles and replaced wood with 1x10 planks.New roof and siding on dormers looks great. Had one minor issue with area around sewer vent and crew came back immediately and took care of issue even though was not part of usual job. Would highly recommend.

Time from estimate to completion of work was less than a week. I was impressed that they responded so quickly. They were a bit late arriving on the scheduled work day (approximately 4:30 PM...less than an hour of light left.) But no problems so far. Nice job!

We had our roof and gutters replaced this past Spring. I contacted several roofing companies and Home Depot for estimates. EC Roofing's estimate was not the lowest, but was very competitive. More importantly, EC roofing was one of only two companies that had experience with the specific roof vent best suited for my style roof and who specified round gutters of the type I was replacing. The company owner, Mike Garp, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The crew that installed the new roof worked extremely hard and did a satisfactory job cleaning up afterwards. Unfortunately, they installed the roof vent in the wrong location. To EC Roofing's credit, they acknowledged the error and returned to correct it. I contacted them several months after the roof was installed when I noticed a leak. The crew foreman returned to inspect the roof and make repairs, though it took some time to schedule the visit (the repairs held through Hurricane Sandy). Although I would prefer to have a flawless roof, I appreciate that EC Roofing has owned up to its mistakes and has returned when I called to troubleshoot problems.

EC Roofing repaired a leak in our ceiling just above our family room. The leak started near where the ceiling met the wall of the room. The person that helped with the scheduling was very polite and friendly. There is a minimum fee of $360 for a home visit and repair. The repair person was professional and courteous. He was able to locate the cause of the leak which turned out to be a roofing nail that was nailed over a shingle instead of under it. This was a mistake made by the installer when the roof was put on the house 5 years ago. How he was able to find that nail was nothing short of remarkable as I had been up to that area of the roof several times and just could not find the source of the leak. Since that nail which was rusted and was a perfect camouflage with the shingle was in the path of the down spout from the second floor roof, it was constantly in the path of a steady stream of water whenever it rained. The water seepage was very minor and had subsequently gotten worst especially during recent heavy storms. Once the nail was removed and the area patched, there was no more leaks. This was tested in the recent Hurricane Sandy. Not a drop of water came through. Since the repair work took very little time, the repair person did an inspection of the entire roof and added sealant to the flashings on the roof. Overall, we are very happy with the results and will use them again if needed.

We found that we have a leak in our roof and called EC to come out as we had used them several years ago and had a good experience. During our first call, they asked us to go up into our attic to look around and see if we could see what the issue was first. I thought that was a little odd but nonetheless we did. We called back to tell them exactly where the problem was and schedule an appt. The person on the phone said she would have to call us back, she would have to check with "the scheduler" but would get right back to us with an appt time. We waited a few hours and then called back, as we were hoping to get this fixed asap. On that call, we were told that person they needed to speak with about appts was out at the bank, but we would get a call back no later than 4:30. When we still didn't hear back, we called back AGAIN at 4:45. This time no answer. If the company is too busy to take new jobs, they should tell you that when you call. Otherwise, to be told you need to wait for a call back to get an appt, and then never get that call is very frustrating as we could have used that wasted time to contact another company who would want our business. After 4 unreturned calls, all we can say is they are very unprofessional. It's the end of the business day an entire day later...still no call.

Ihad a stroke in the middle of my project but they worked with me and aside from some weather delays came in did a professional job . Cleaned up and left.

I think they did a good job. They were one of the few roofers that were willing to come out to do a small job. They cleaned up after themselves. They did it quick and their weren't any problems. They seemed to know what they were doing. The estimate was very prompt through email. A variety of contractors never got back to us.

We contacted and received estimates from several roofers before selecting EC. Their estimate was the lowest in cost, while providing the same services as most of the other estimates as well as the additional gutter work that none of the other roofers we contacted offered to do. We were not just looking to go for the lowest bidder, as this is an important job. The job was scheduled quickly and the materials were delivered as promised. The crew showed up on time and were professional. The job took a little longer than I had originally expected, but they had a lot of work to do at our home and were still gone by late afternoon. The completed work looks great, and our gutter that had drooped out front is now level.

During the estimate, the gist of the discussion, work to be done, and materials to be used were similar to that of another roofer but at a lower cost. The job was scheduled within 2 weeks and work was done quickly and efficiently. One plywood repair was more difficult than expected but did not increase the cost. The clean-up afterwards was better than expected.

The old roofing was removed, sheathing was replaced where damaged and new roofing was applied. Materials used were of excellent quality. Two of the sheds have a low roof pitch requiring a "Roll Roofing" material and the Contractor highly recommended a better grade that included an additional membrane below the roofing material. The Contractor reviewed the material with us and provided samples. The work was very well performed. Work was done carefully, at a pace that was quick but not rushed. Resulting in a thorough and careful outcome. Several pieces of flashing had primer showing on the finished side and the Contractor came back and cleaned the flashing. I was not asked to pay the balance of the price until all work was completed to my satisfaction. This company is not the least expensive you will find but for their price and quality of work, I found them to be of excellent value. The company also directed me to several of their custom projects to view their quality. All staff members are very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I plan to use them again.

The service representative was prompt, calling me within just a day or two after my first inquiry and arranged a date to give a consultation and estimate. The estimator was on time and professional and gave me an estimate before leaving. All subsequent communications were orderly and the materials needed were delivered as described. Work was done while I was away, but I could not detect any workmanship issues and the job has every appearance of being well done. I am pleased with my overall experience. Can't think of any concerns or problems that arose.

EC was very prompt and mostly responsive. The initial job leaked at a tricky window/roof seam which was part of the original problem, so I ended up fixing the interior damage twice. But they promptly came out, found the problem and fixed it. My biggest issue is the site crew damaged my gutters in an area unrelated to the job (for ease of material delivery from the driveway I assumed), EC was notified and agreed to replace the damaged section. Unfortunately it never happened. In fairness, 2 weeks after they did the roof we got 2 feet of snow and all h*** broke loose with roofs/gutters/etc in the area, so I know they were swamped. And I had all intentions of replacing the gutters at some point, so I didn't keep pursuing it. Still, it was disappointing. The workmanship was good, they added a ridge vent that wasn't included in the original scope at no cost and in the end I feel I got my money's worth. Depending on the type of work I would use them again.

Mr. Grap arrived to give us an estimate, answer our questions, etc. He is very personable and did not rush us. He also had a solution to another roof problem we had. Crew arrived when it was supposed to a couple of weeks later; they were what we asked for: hardworking, reasonably quiet with no loud music or bad language and the foreman communicated with us daily. They also cleaned up very well.

They were very responsive and nice. I rescheduled them 5 or 6 times because my schedule was kind of crazy. They came in the lowest. Had their quote been ballpark - in the middle ground - I would have considered them.

For such a major project I got three estimates. The owner of the company showed up, on time. He went up in the attic and up on the roof. (One company did not go on the roof and both of the other companies did not go in the attic) I felt that this company was detailed and thorough in their inspection. He clearly explained and showed me areas that needed to be corrected, like my bathroom vents venting into the attic and that my skylight was leaking. The day of the job, the crew arrived right on time, 7:30am, wow! They finished the job the same day, cleaning up after themselves so well, that if you didn't see the new roof and skylight, you never would have known they were there. Everything looks great. I have had numerous compliments from my neighbors and would highly recommend this company. His estimate was in the ballpark with one company and much lower than the other company, however, his estimate included more work (attic fans, awning removal/replacement and skylight replacement) than the other two.

They were prompt with the estimate, and wound up being the lowest bidder. Scheduling the work was difficult due to a rainy spring, but communication with the office was good. The roof work was done in one day; they returned the next day to finish the gutter work and a problem area around a stovepipe. Clean up was satisfactory. The crew seemed experienced and efficient.

David Nell gave me an estimate with 48 hours of my call. Although rain delayed the installation for almost two weeks, the roofing work was done within one day. The gutters were replaced a few days later.

THE QUALITY DIDN'T LOOK AS GOOD AS MY NEIGHBORS. IT TOOK ALMOST A YEAR FOR THEM TO COME BACK AND PUT THE VENT IN THE ARCH. THE SHINGLES MATCHED THE ASSOCIATION SPECIFICATION THOUGH. I ALSO HAD THEM COME BACK TO TIGHTEN THE GUTTERS SINCE THEY WERE ALL LOOSE.

GREAT PRICE! EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE. THEY PROVIDE AN ON-SITE COMPUTER ESTIMATE, SO THERE'S NO WAITING A WEEK OR TWO FOR THE ESTIMATE AND THE JOB CAN BE DONE FASTER.

THE PRICE WAS INEXPENSIVE AND THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WAS EXCELLENT. EC ROOFING HAS WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED EFFICIENTLY AND VERY FAST!
