" Scam! Scam! Scam! I believe this company is the worst home warranty provider in the USA. They were having a promotion and of course I took the bait and it became one of the worst decisions I've made. This company deserves zero stars but I had to choose one to make this post. Please note that any positive reviews you see on them are from those who have not filed a claim. It has been 6 months and I'm still waiting for my cash in lieu check and now my home warranty has expired. Of course I did not renew and that is why I'm still waiting. I call every week for an update and I keep getting a runaround with responses like my check is in the mail and it never comes. And responses like they will call me back and they never do. This company is really the worst. Beware! "

I am a one man operation.I offer a wide variety of Electrical Service's. I accept credit cards and cash or checks.
"Well, I have to say I had a horrible experience with this company. I hired them for 3 projects: Recess lights in kitchen along with outlets installation (we had total kitchen remodel), Recess lights in dining room 220 v outlet in basement. I was quoted by Drew (owner of the company , I guess) $480 per day with 2 days of labor. Price was good . Nate came over, looked at the job, confirmed price and timing. He said he will be doing my project with one other helper (no extra cost). They where suppose to have everything needed for the project. When I asked Nate if there is anything I nee to provide, I was told that tall recess light cans need to be changed for shallow ones. That was it. When time came to do the project Jordan came in with his helper. He started my project with telling me that There is way more time needed . 2 days after I was left with not finished kitchen , no recess lights in dining room and no 220v outlet. Jordan told me that he can not finish the project in the kitchen until everything is finished. When kitchen was finished and he came back to finish it, he told me that because everything is finished and on the way, his access is limited and unless we remove kitchen cabinet he can not perform the job. At hat moment he picked up his tools and left. I got a phone call from Nate who came in later that day. I showed him unfinished project. Poorly installed outlets (3 new outlets where added above the counter top and they are about 1 inch below level of existing ones . ) Recess lights not connected and hanging out of the cans, wires below cabinet with limited access ... Nate promised to come back Wednesday and finish the project. Wednesday he did not show up, when I called him he happened to be sick and promised to come back next day. Today I received message from Nate to call the company and discuss price for project. I made a phone call. Owner of the company was rude and very unhappy. After listening to my story he was suppose to talk to Nate and call me back. @ hours later I was trying to reach him , but I got a text message : "I'm at the meeting will call you right back". I got no phone call at all . At this point another company has taken over the project. All Kitchen outlets where installed in 1 hour by one guy . Tomorrow whole kitchen will be finished . Jameson Electrical LLC is fired from the job !!!"

Many benefits come with buying a home warranty when selling your home, but there are drawbacks to consider, too.
Pros
Peace of mind of home repair coverage
Incentive for buyers
Transferability to new owners
Prevent post-sale issues
Cons
Expensive cost
Exclusions of certain features or appliances
Coverage limits
Often difficult to understand
Potential wait for claim service
On average, a home warranty costs about $1,100, ranging from $80 to $8,300, depending on your home size and its features, type of home warranty plan, and the coverage included. Your home’s location also factors into the cost of a home warranty, with areas with a higher cost of living experiencing increased warranty costs. Additional cost to consider include:
Deductibles: $75–$125 per call
Add-ons: $2–$35 per month
Premiums: $200–$1,200 per year
Several factors make a home warranty worth it or not, especially the age of your home and the condition and age of the appliances in it. If you buy an older home with most or all original appliances, a warranty may be worth the investment as these home features are more likely to need repairs or replacements. However, if you’re buying a new-construction home, a warranty may already be included, and you may not need to use it for several years. In this case, purchasing add-ons may not be worth the cost until a few years later.
Offering a home warranty when selling can make your property more appealing to potential buyers. The warranty gives them peace of mind that many systems or appliances will be covered if they need to be repaired or replaced in the near future. Additionally, the home warranty may cover problems that arise during the home sale, such as a leaky roof or water in the basement.
The main types of home warranties cover the basic essentials, but additional plan types focus on specific areas such as:
Appliance plan: This plan covers typical household appliances like refrigerators, stoves, washer and dryer, built-in microwaves, and dishwashers. It costs $360 and $540 per year.
System plan: Costing between $360 and $540 per year, this plan covers central home systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and water heaters.
Combination plan: This plan type covers both systems and appliances, costing between $545 and $1,500.
