The Custom District

Elon was extremely responsive to the homeowner needs and concerns. First and foremost of these was demonstrating an understanding of what we needed done and the capability to execute. After the initial phone conversation and home visit, we were very assured and comforted that what seemed like a very complicated metal structure could indeed be built, that it would be done correctly, and that if things went as planned -- it would be of high-quality. Because these structures would be very large (4' x 5'), very heavy (over 200lbs each), and would have to fit securely to our townhouse with a complex bolting system - we were concerned that a great deal of professionalism was needed to build these brackets well. We couldn't afford a screw up or inadequate work because the cost was high, we were on a tight timeframe and finding someone else if it didn't come off well would set us back, plus what do you do with massive steel structures if you can't use them? Fortunately everything came off excellently and the structures were very well done and delivered with great care - not a scratch on them when delivered to our house. Now they are up and supporting the wooden balcony that we intended them to hold. Elon's ability to decipher complex plans and turn them into a useful and quality object was top-notch. I'm sure he'd be able to custom-build almost anything of metal, steel, or wood that you want.

I went very well. They came in at 0600 hrs. and was don't before their schedule time of 10am. They had all the supplies they needed to conduct their job. Elon stood with me and explain all the things that they were doing and answered any questions I had. We will be using them again in the near future without hesitation.

Elon was exceptionally responsive. He told me that he mostly does fabrication. I probably should have looked at his website. His stuff really looks like that of a master craftsman and I needed something more basic (which I am sure beyond capable of but probably a waste of his talents). Anyhow, we weren't a good match for the scope of what I needed and the timeline, he indicated that he was pretty booked up and I am looking for a quick turnaround. I really appreciated his candor and responsiveness. I can speak to his work, but the stuff on his website looks awesome so I suspect its quite good, but I can speak to his professionalism and that is top notch.

It went well. Elon picked up and delivered the gate. Looks great!

The Custom District visited our house and produced several design options. We selected one and they delivered the finished product to our home. Throughout the process The Custom District was professional, highly communicative, and a delight to work with!

Last year The Custom District created a fine piece of custom furniture for us, so we hired them to design us a light fixture for our entryway since we weren't able to find something we really liked. They designed and made a beautiful metal light fixture and we love it! They communicated designing and pricing options throughout design, and even sent us updates as it was being made. We would gladly use The Custom District again for furniture, light fixtures, or other custom pieces.

Elon was prompt and professional from the the beginning. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. His estimate was lower than the others I got, and he was easier to get in touch with, which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend him.

Elon showed up on time, gave a good estimate and did the work quickly and efficiently. He tackled these jobs with creativity, flexibility and expertise.

Excellent. They did a great job examining my sketched design to spec out materials and other design issues that would need to be done before the sketch could be realized as finished product. Great job providing updates and the work was completed within the time originally estimated.
