+ -1 moreThe fireplace looks terrific. His team is courteous, professional, and responsive. Smoaks has 30 years of experience, which translates into good advice and a terrific end result for a homeowner.
Description of Work: Smoaks & Son (owned by James "Smokey" Smoaks) installed a limestone fireplace surround. He met us at Arena Stone (which had recommended his company) and helped us pick out a slab. He came as scheduled to measure and later to install the surround. He also installs kitchen and bath stone countertops.

+ -1 moreSmoaks Marble and Tile were very professional and even accommodated a request. I wanted a small recess built in the countertop where I could store my knives and they did it with no problem. The job took a bit longer, around two weeks but it wasn't too bad. I even called them about a stain which they returned and cleaned it up in no time.
Description of Work: In our Maryland home, we had granite countertop installed. It's a small kitchen with the countertop measuring around 130 inches. They were all precut prior to arriving here.

+ -1 moreThe granite piece that they had was very nice. It was delivered and installed within the time frame that was discussed at the beginning. The workers did show up on time. They were reliable people. The service was excellent as well.
Description of Work: I purchased and had them install granite countertops in my kitchen. The granite was installed on the main counter and an island. They did remove the old countertop for me as well.
