Description of Work: I had Long Fence come out and provide an estimation for fence repairs. The technician was prompt and polite. He seemed to have expertise in his field. They provided me a reasonable price quote for the repairs.

Description of Work: We were willing to pay a higher price to get the custom fencing done in a very short time frame . . . unfortunately, they couldn't install it in time so we overpaid this vendor for the exact same fence we could have from another for less money in the same timeframe. Quality of the fence is great and people nice . . just over promised and under delivered on timing.

Description of Work: Way over priced compared to 2 other quotes for the same fence. Long Fence wanted over twice as much to do the same work as 2 other highly rated fence builders.

Description of Work: Installation of the split rail fence in the yard went well.

Description of Work: Terrible experience. They have an ad promoting free gutters. We paid cash for our roof and were told this was the promotion. Day before they claimed that we got such a good price on the roof that they would not be able to also give free gutters. The ad on TV and in print has no qualifiers. They just were deceptive. Also roofers were sloppy. Husband had flat tire from nails left in our driveway. They put heavy metal sheeting on top of my prize roses and then killed my neighbors grass with the same. Shingles and nails all over my yard. Disconnected the cable and then sloppily reconnected it wrong (outside my roof) so we had to have cable service call and no tv for 5 days. They are sloppy and deceptive. I would not recommend them.

Description of Work: Replace back fence with new stockade fencing. Very satisfied with the new fence.

Description of Work: Replaced all-wood 10-foot double driveway gate and 3-foot companion gate with a 13.5-foot non-sagging driveway gate; and installed 30-foot long, six-foot tall fence and gate on far side of house. Price was about 5% above competitor's quote, but Long was responsive to us, visited the house promptly, provided personalized suggesions that improved the design of the gate, and the sales & service reps (Chris Bucca and Steve Cooper) were respectful and responsive. There were a couple of technical glitches in the construction process, as is the case with many such projects, but Long corrected the problems without hesitation or complaint. This level of quality was reassuring and provided an unquantifiable value-added element to the purchase. Clean-up was thorough and the members of the work crews were respectful and professional in every respect. I would use Long again, especially if Chris and Steve are involved in structuring and executing the contract. I suggest getting quotes from several potential vendors, that you negotiate all prices, and to prevent glitches, try to be present during the assessment and installation processes.

Description of Work: repaired fence which was damaged last summer by a falling tree and also added a section to the back yard. Someone came out to do an estimate for us and he arrived exactly when he said he would. The job was scheduled in 2 weeks and their crew came out on time, did the job in a relatively short period of time, and most importantly, did it well. We are very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Long Fence installed a sun room addition to our house several years ago. Though we really enjoy using the sun room, parts of it are starting to show wear and tear. I'm not sure if it is due to poor workmanship or just regular aging, but we asked Long Fence to come out and give us an estimate on fixing the various issues. A representative came out from Long Fence and looked at the problems. But though he promised to follow-up and give us an estimate, he never did. I think that's poor service.

Description of Work: Provided an estimate for a replacement fence. They did a fabulous and careful job, and If I had the extra money I would have used them. In the end I went with a less expensive option.
