Roof Top Chimney Sweep

We needed two chimneys at our vacation house cleaned, inspected and repaired. Tommy was recommended by some friends so I called and made an appointment. I was late for our appointment and Tommy was NOT happy at all (he doesn't seem to have access to voicemail during the day and did not receive my message from an hour prior). He told me he was too busy to wait and that he'd have to reschedule. It seems we have now been blacklisted because our 5 messages to reschedule have gone unanswered. I ended up paying the other chimney sweep company in the area about 12 times as much but was glad to do it. They were more professional and seemed to actually want our business.

I had used this company about 15 years ago when I had a wood stove and had been very satisfied with Tom Hall's service. Because I set this appt. up before the fall rush, he was able to come out within a day. He gave me a time window for arrival and was on time. I had some baby birds fall down the chimney in the spring so knew I needed a cap put on. Had not mentioned this in the original appt. set up but Mr. Hall was well equipped and had one with him. He used tarp on the floor in front of the fireplace and cleaned up everything. He was done in an hour. Great job, neat and quick. His price was reasonable and was very pleasant.
