Michael arrived at the home before I did and at least 10 minutes early for our appointment. He had already begun taking notes on the house. He is very personable and likeable and spent considerable time answering my questions about home ownership concerns in the area. We started outside the home and he immediately found signs of termite damage. He spent about two hours outside the home documented every flaw we could find. We then moved into the basement and spent an hour making sure the furnace, electrical, well and hot water heater were functioning. We then went through the inside of the house where Michael tested all of the water fixtures, most of the electrical outlets and commented on the structural elements of the home. We finished the inspection in the attic. Michael then spent about 20 minutes compiling the results of his report before we sat down to discuss it. He went through all of his major findings and categorized everything so that we would know what needed immediate attention in the home. There were some flaws in the home that he recommended be looked at by a contractor (Furnace efficiency and cracks in the foundation). Had he been more knowledgable about those areas and been able to give us more information I would have rated the quality of the service higher. I am very happy with the service provided by Inspection Connection. The price was very reasonable considering that the inspector spend six hours with us. I will be using their services again for a septic inspection before I purchase the home.
