Description of Work: They were very easy to deal with. I called them about a sink blockage at my daughter's house. Not an emergency; I was able to schedule a visit within a few days. They arrived, cleared the blockage, replaced the old drain pipe that was the source of the problem, then left with no problem at all. Made no mess. I was so impressed I will contact them for future needs.

Description of Work: They did the work well, answered our questions and provided advice about an appliance that we did not originally ask them to inspect--very helpful.

Description of Work: Handled permitting and installation of new gas hot water heater. Mr. Winegar and his office manager were prompt and knowledgeable in responding to phone calls, scheduling the estimate and installation, and answering my many questions about the process.

Description of Work: Installed new gas range, which cost more than the range itself mind you. But they did a good job, just pricey.

Description of Work: I needed to have my bathroom faucet replaced. I purchased the faucet myself from Home Depot (about $20) and contacted Winegar to remove the old faucet and install the new one. The plumber arrived about a half hour late. He proceeded to remove the old faucet and install the new one. When he was done and left, I noticed that my toilet bowl seat was broken. His truck was still in the parking lot so I went out to him to ask him about it. He didn't own up to the fact that he had broken my toilet seat by leaning on it in his attempt to remove the old faucet and install the new one, and was about to leave without even telling me. He tried to say that the toilet seat was already broken but then couldn't explain why he didn't say anything about the toilet seat being broken (which it never was) while he was working. What's more he had the broken part of the toilet seat with him in the truck. He said he thought he had left it on my sink. Furthermore, the install was incorrect as the sink stopper when open was high and insanely higher when closed. Finally, I was originally charged almost $350 for the service, which included an overcharge for the plumber's time. I called Winegar to complain. I spoke with Mr. Winegar who proceeded to cover for his worker. I insisted on having the bill reduced to account for the correct time the plumber was there actually working, for the broken toilet seat and the inproper install. Mr. Winegar tried to explain away the fact that his worker broke my toilet seat and refused to take responsibility of it. Furthermore while Mr. Winegar said he would personally come out to my home to inspect the installation and fix it without charge if he found anything wrong with it, he also insisted that I schedule it at a time that was convenient for him - early morning hours when I would be at work despite me explaining to him that I had already lost time from work having to be home for the original install. I felt very uncomfortable having the same company come to my house again. I felt used and really taken advantage of as I know a faucet install in which I purchased the part myself should not cost that much. I can't help but feel that I was taken advantage of due to the fact that I was a single woman. I won't be using Winegar again.

Description of Work: Dave and Bernie removed old water heater. After that, they installed new 50-gallon water heater with 10-year warranty, new shut-off valve, and an expansion tank. We are very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Replaced a faucet in the kitchen. Plumber showed up on time and was perfectly willing to install the Delta faucet that we had purchased at Home Depot. The existing faucet was made in Germany and my husband could not get it out. The plumber from Winegar went out to his truck, returned with a different tool, and loosened the old faucet. Then removal and installation went smoothly.

Description of Work: They repaired a water pipe that had burst due to the cold weather this winter. The pipe was behind finished drywall in the basement. They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Flawless from beginning to end. They provided a fair and accurate quote over the phone (rather than all the unnecessary trips to "inspect" the job)and they stuck to that price. The technician was professional, polite, and efficient. They are "my plumber" from now on.

Description of Work: The technician repaired a leaky toilet and provided and estimate for a leaky tub/shower problem. He was punctual, professional and answered all our questions. We would use Winegar again.

Description of Work: They installed a single handle shower handle and unclogged my kitchen drain. The technicians arrived on-time and were very professional. They cleaned the area before they left.

Description of Work: Responded to a flooding basement but did not use their service because it was at 3am and did not return call before another company did. I would still consider using reorder ices because of their professionalism and apology when they returned the call.

Description of Work: The scope of the service exceeded what the contractor could provide in a timely manner but they made a temporary fix that held us over until we could get someone else in. I appreciated their honesty and helpfulness.
