They took our call at the time of the crisis and came the next morning. Very professional and efficient. He talked me through each step of the repair and answered all of my questions. He finished the repair within about an hour.

They were very responsive when i called them in a near-emergency for a leaking hot water heater. They were patient in working with me to select the right replacement heater on an expedited basis, and came out the next day. The estimate was reasonable, and the final charge was within the estimate. The plumber and his assistant were professional and courteous. They took care not to scratch the floor, and performed the work in a professional manner. I plan to use Winegar Plumbing again for any of my plumbing needs.

Everything was great. I found them through Angie’s list. They gave me Angie’s list coupon discount. I did not have any problems. The service was good. The price was little more than I had expected. I would use them in the future.

We found them through Angie's List. A tree had come down and crushed the pipe. We had got estimates that were very high and we had not got the work done for a year. Their estimate was a reasonable and they did the work and we are now using our third bathroom. They were very prompt. They came out and did the estimate within days of my call. One of the things they were going to do was to fix one of the faucets for the outside. We had been told that it would require extensive work such as cutting out tiles and walls and would be quite expensive. He wanted to try and fix the faucet right at the side and he did it and it worked. The faucet doesn't leak and it saved us hundreds of dollars and we are very happy. They are a wonderful company and I highly recommend them. They are a great company and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The work was performed quickly, professionally, and compared to past experiences with other companies I found the pricing fair. I am more than satisfied.

I called for service on Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend, and I was told they would get to me as soon as possible on Tuesday (the day after the 4th of July). Someone would call giving me a window of time I could expect someone to arrive. I spoke with the office in the morning and was told that someone would arrive between 2-4 pm. Terry Winegar arrived before 2:30 pm and efficiently and effectively fixed a slow running toilet and cleared the air line to my dishwasher. I was very pleased with the cost (which was $25.00 off with a coupon Winegar offered here on Angie's List). Another plumber had provided me with a cost of closer to $300.00 for both jobs,

Everything went fine. Terry showed up on time, removed the toilet and attempted to create the stoppage problem we had experienced but the toilet was working fine. When he looked at the toilet flange he showed me that there was a potential future problem but it should be okay for now. He also noticed the toilet was refilling slowly and recommended replacing the ball c***, which I approved. He replaced the toilet with a new wax seal.

FABULOUS. I called and got an immediate response--Terry was here in 2 hours at exactly the time he said he would be. He was professional competent and very upbeat. Gave me good suggestions. Excellent service

My sump pump was running continuously. I could not determine if the impeller was bad or the float switch was stuck. Scott diagnosed the problem to be Vapor Lock and solved the problem quickly

I contacted the vendor to install one but probably two new toilets that had to be special ordered (because of my brand of interest an color). They took my information and called me. I had a very pleasant conversation with one of their plumbers. He promised to call me back when they had the pricing and availability, but I was assured I could probably have a service call in two days. I never heard from them. It strikes me as unusual for a company to completely ignore a customer in this economy, but they did. In the interest of full disclosure, I called them last year to repair a garbage disposal and snake out a drain, and the response was very different -- that's the reason I considered them this time.

Terry & his team did a fantastic job with installing our new gas line for our new range in the kitchen. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The amount we paid was on the less expensive side of the range of quotes we received from a few different companies. I would definitely hire them again for our plumbing needs!

Everything was fantastic. I could not believe it. From start to finish, the gentleman came out and looked at what needed to be done and he immediately knew what had to be done. He kept in constant contact all through the process. He was very knowledgable. He came on time and the job was completed on time. Everything was put back into place as if it had never happened. My water is running fine. No problems. I'd give them an A++ if I could.

This charge was to replace a little pipe. I was told by an expert plumber who was installing a generator, that it should've cost $200 at the most.

W. H. Winegar and Sons spent the appropriate amount of time to diagnose the problem recognizing that the potential that this could be a very invasive job. The diagnosis was the key as a small leak from a deteriorating part and the water was following on the outside of the main pipe. The part was replaced and we haven't had a problem since. A great, honest and inexpensive result. We'll definitely use them again.

John called during first hour to say he was on the way. He fixed the leak quickly and gave me estimates on other plumbing work needed in the Spring. I will definitely be calling them back. John was friendly and engaging (with me and my dog).

There was a slight mixup on whether my appointment was supposed to be between 8-12 or between 12-4, but Jim showed up at 1 and was great. He not only fixed the problem, he showed me what I can try if it happens again in the future. More importantly, he showed me what to do to keep it from happening again. He was friendly and professional, and I will definitely call Winegar for future plumbing needs.

Winegar was the second plumber who looked at this problem. Their strategy to locate the problem and fix it was much more comprehensive and their estimate was considerably less. The problem was a complex one because it involved one day of verifying the problem and locating the the approximate place where the pipe was broken under the flooring. We knew that the flooring in the vestibule between the utility room and the family room was going to be torn up but we planned to get new flooring in the vestibule in the near future. . However, we hoped to avoid tearing up the flooring in the adjacent family room and harming the wall to wall carpeting. Winegar set one day to start and finish the work. They completed on time and professionally carried out each task. They were friendlly and knowledgeable. They took every precaution by using tarts to keep down the dust and dirt. When they found the break it was under the doorframe leading to the family room. Sensitive to our concerns about limiting damage to the family room carpet, they tunneled under the flooring to fix the break. The final cost to us was at the low end of their estimate. We intend to use this plumber for any future problems.

It was a Friday at 4 and I was desperate not to go the weekend with the disposal still clogged. I called him, he happened to be in the neighborhood and came right over and fixed it. I was so grateful!

Jim arrived on time and was very friendly. We chatted the entire time he worked and he took the time to teach me how to do different things. He answered each question I had and was incredibly helpful. He cleaned up as he went along and was careful as he worked. While I know a little bit more now and can probably handle a similar problem in the future, I will definitely be calling when something plumbing related pops up again.

Our hot water heater stopped producing hot water on 9/8, Called the company on 9/9 and they were very accomodating to our schedule as we had an appointment that day and we didn't know when we would be done. Mr. Winegar just had me call when we were done and John came not long after we got home. He explained our options of fixing vs replacing but did not pressure me at all. When I smelled gas about 1 hour after he left, he returned promptly even though it was after 5pm and rechecked everything( did not find any leak). I was very happy with the service. The only thing that would have been better is I forgot about the $25 coupon for Angies list members and he did not give it to me at the time of service.

Terry came within 2 hours of my calling him about a leak in my basement. It took awhile to track the leak down. It turned out to be a leak in the water main outside the exterior wall underground. Terry did a fabulous job replacing all the necessary copper piping and put in a new main water shut off at my request. The entire job was handled promptly, courteously, professionally and at a very reasonable cost. I will definitely call Terry for all future plumbing needs!

Excellent service from start to finish! First, the phone was actually answered by a person who was professional adn courteous. (Most service calls go to a voice mail that either results in no call back or a call 3 days later.) The actual service appointment was scheduled within a reasonable time period AND the course of events on that day was exactly as the appointment taker had expained -- the service person called early morning to provide an approximately time of arrival and called as he left the prior appointment. The actual time was within the expectation provided that morning. Service was provdied by Jim, who was professional and efficient. Problem was diagnosed quickly and fixed and the faucet installation went smoothly. Things that made this service excceptional: 1. service person first verified what he had come to do, 2. was respectful of our home and its contents, putting down drop cloths and moving our rugs out of the way, 3. after work was complete, he re-tested his work to ensure no drips, etc., 4. he invited us to test his work as well and asked if there were any questions prior to his leaving, he was very pleasnat and knowledgable. The plumber did an excellent job of explaining exactly what he was going to do. He then proceeded to do everything in a very prompt and efficient manner. Furthermore, everything was spotless when he finished.

The waste drain pipe from our upstairs bathrooms runs through our laundry room and is surrounded by HVAC ductwork. We had mysterious dripping onto the laundry room floor and it took some detective work to find the source. There was a crack on the top edge of the drain pipe, so it dripped only when a lot of water was being sent through it (such as flushing a toilet while the shower was in use). The old cast-iron pipe couldn't be repaired; it had to be replaced. Winegar was recommended by another plumber who couldn't handle the job because it required two people. Winegar came promptly, solved the problem, and did a reasonably good job of cleaning up afterward.

Our hot water heater sprung a leak on a Monday afternoon. We quickly looked for a local plumber/repair person and called W. H. Winegar. We had a quick and professional response, with a repair person coming to the house that afternoon to look at the job and give us some options and quotes. We called back that evening with the decision on which option we wanted, and the job was completed the next day. They removed the old hot water heater and supplied and installed a new one, and cleaned up after themselves. The price felt reasonable for the job, although we did not get any other quotes for comparison. We were extremely happy with the professionalism, promptness, and responsiveness of this company, and we had hot water again less than 24 hours later!
