Did not use enough caulk and it left gaps in the seam between the tub and wall. They had to come back and fix it up but the plumber used a different type of caulk than the first one who came and even then left a couple of very small gaps that I believe water could get through still.

They arrived on time and did an excellent job identifying and repairing the problem. We have used them in the past to replace all of our toilets and were very pleased with the selection and installation of the new toilets.

My review is mixed. The guy that came was friendly. He fixed my leaky faucet & some pipes that were leaking; however he was unable to fix the clogged drain. He tried snaking it but he was unable push the clog through. He said I may have a cracked pipe somewhere past 15 ft. He told me that he would need to come back with a camera to go down the line. That would cost $450 on top of the $366 for two hours. I wasn't completely clear on the pricing. Is a $50 charge for cables standard? Sales tax? I decided to get a second opinion. A guy came from Master Plumbers with a larger diameter snake and he worked through the clog for 30 minutes and it was fixed. Their charge for snaking was $250. He also tightened my garbage disposal that was leaking. He told me that the first guy should have used a larger snake. I feel that I spent more money than needed and it would have cost a lot more if I hadn't had a second opinion. No charge for cables or tax. I will not be using Wineger again.

The people who came to do the work were outstanding because we called in for emergency and he couldn't really fit us in that day and then he called us back and the guy came out at about eight thirty after his last call and did it for us on the same day. The price was excellent.

we had previously used them to fix our 30 year old dryer and they did a great job, so when the washer stopped spinning we called them for a repair. The mechanic explained the problem and told us how he would fix it. He was cordial and professional.

Discovered leak on a Friday evening. Called 3 plumbers, Wynegar was the only company who could send someone on Saturday. Plumber (Jim) came Saturday morning and fixed leak quickly.

Very pleased with the work. Their first visit here for the work was last night, and they were able to diagnose the cause of a troubling and growing moldy spot on our family room ceiling. Because there was not enough time to do the repair, Jonnie arranged for a first-call appointment today. He came with Bernard, and in three hours they had completed all the work. I was particularly impressed with the speed of the pipe repair as the problem area was in a soffit that was pretty cramped. They left the house spotless. Both techs were very professional. My phone conversations with the folks in the office were all positive. Over the 30+ years we have been in this house, we have used a variety of plumbers but none have ever left us feeling like they were the go-to guys. That has changed now with our first experience with Winegar. We are very happy with the outcome, and though we hope we don't have any more plumbing problems, we know who to call!

When my hot water tank went out and two other plumbers could not come for several days, Terry made the effort to be there the next day and gave exceptional service. He will be my plumber from now on.

Its how knowledgeable they were, if you're hiring someone, they should know more than you. Everything was done on the schedule they promised.

Jim and Bernard were courteous and replaced my old sump pump with no problems. They explained to me how to work the pump and the battery and how to maintain the battery. The only downside was that they could not replace the pit lid, as the hole on my lid was too small for where they placed the floater for the back-up pump, and they did not have the tools to widen the hole or cut the lid. But, the work was done in a very professional manner, and they clearly explained to me all the details that I needed!

Jim and Bernard showed up both times right on time, were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, got the work done right, cleaned as they went, gave me great advice and options as to how to fix the problems for the long haul. I felt that they both took pride in their work and didn't just slapped it together and move on to the next customer. They were great and I'd highly recommend them to anybody for any kind of plumbing service a person might need.

The plumber, Jim, called before he arrived on the given date and between the given times. He was friendly, competent, fixed my outdoor hose bib and put a new spigot on. He answered all questions.

Winegar will be my go to for all of my future plumbing needs. Jonnie and Jim were great. They were clean, polite and educated us on fixtures and how things work. It was a small job but they took it seriously. They stand by their work and even came back for free to adjust a troublesome drain that continued to give us trouble. Great company.

Terry was great. Very personable without letting occasional chatter slow him down as he worked. He was clean while working (didnt let water run everywhere, or make messes I needed to clean up after he was gone). His price was right in line with the estimate he gave me and the job took slightly less time than I had expected.

Extremely efficient and professional

The plumber worked hard to remove the old toilet and put it in the boxes that the new toilet came in (shipped from on-line retailer) so that we could recycle it. He installed the new toilet and calked all around it. Cleaned up the mess (mostly). Took a couple of hours as the old toilet was rusted in and needed to be sawed out. Very fair price for all the work performed. Very friendly and considerate!

Very pleased with the responsiveness of the company. We discovered the problem Thursday evening and called first thing friday morning and told them that we needed a plumber to come out but it was not an emergency. They could not fit us in until the following Monday at 8 a.m. The plumber was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He took his time with the repairs and reinspected everything. He also showed us where the faucet had some corrosion at the base and told us that it may need to be replaced if we see any more water around it. He also recommended some faucet brands and would come back to replace it if needed.

I was quite happy with the work provider by W H Winegar & Son Plumbing and Heating. He did what some other plumbers said they couldn't do. He was great. He came in just to do an estimate, but two and a half hours later, he finished the whole job. He was on time and professional. He accomplished what we weren't sure could be done. It was a tough job. He has the capability to service old plumbing and old houses, which a lot of the younger plumbers can't do.

While my dishwasher was running I found water was running from under it all over my kitchen floor. I had a Wet Vac that took up the water. The water kept running long after (3 hours) the dishwasher had cut off resulting in my taking up the water until I finally turned the water off under my sink leaving me with no water in my kitchen. Tried to get a plumber for an emergency call but because of snow and ice all day, I couldn't find a plumber to come out. Went to Angie's List 1st thing the next morning and called W. H. Winegar and Sons. They sent someone who was already close to my neighborhood and he arrived at my house an hour after my call. He immediately located the problem and fixed it and was gone within the next hour. He was helpful, pleasant and professional. I discussed another non-emergency plumbing issue with him and he identified the problem but did not have the replacement for the problem on his truck. I arranged for another visit in next the 3 days when I will be off from work. Very glad I found this plumber. I'll be sure to use them in the future.

Very good experience with this company. I spoke with the owner Terry about what I thought (in my layman's terms) what might be the problem and he explained why that probably wasn't it. I had them come out anyway to investigate where the leak was coming from and Jim found the unfastened joint that the builder left over 13 years ago, and replaced the joint. I always expect plumbing costs to be pricey, but was pleasantly surprised that the cost was less than I anticipated. Terry and Jim were very friendly and informative.

Jim and Bernard were fantastic!!! Jim explained to me what was causing the issue. He was thorough, professional, courteous and honest! He built a rapport with me very quickly and helped to allay my concerns about the extent of the damage. After the first 5 minutes, I knew I was in good hands. I would definitely call these guys again and again and again any time I have a plumbing issue! Their work was awesome.
