Description of Work: My water heater broke. They came same day to stop the water flow (valve had failed). Two days later they installed a new heater.

Description of Work: 50 gallon electric hot water heater installed to replace one that was failing in a second story walk up condo apartment . The owner provided the estimate the previous week and he was very knowledgeable--raised some things that the other plumbers I had gotten estimates from did not raise, so he seemed to know his stuff. The two young men who came to install the new hot water heater were on time, pleasant, took care with the floors and walls so that there was no damage or dirt, cleaned up after the work was completed, and they were able to work in the small space of the utility closet where the hot water heater resides. All seems well with the new hot water heater. I would definitely call this company again for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We are a Rita's Water Ice Store in College Park that depends on water to make and cool all of our equipment. Upon entering the store to open this morning (6:30 am) water was shooting out of a broken valve up to the ceiling. No telling how long this was going on, floor was flooded. Got water shut off, cleaned up and then the job began of finding a plumber to help us out.As a member of Angies List that is where we went to search. After calling a number of plumbers that, despite sending a picture of the problem, could not/would not help us nor offer any real suggestions, we called W. H. Winegar & Son and the response was quick and immediate. When speaking with the technician he indicated that, once he got his truck, he would stop at the supply house, pick up the necessary part and then come to our location.The problem was fixed within 30 minutes of his arrival, with enough time to perfom our morning duties so that we can open on time.We have already made arrangements for them to come back and perform some routine maintenance projects.Highly recommend, will use anytime we have plumbing needs.

Description of Work: The plumber took about an hour to fix the tub faucet that was dripping into the tub and the basement. He explained the anatomy of the faucet and how we can prevent them from leaking again. He was pleasant, on time and was finished quickly.
