Johnson's Piano Moving

The company was very dependable, timely, and caring for our 65 year old family piano. I called the company and within four days they had picked up and delivered the piano to our daughter in NC. I had called 4-5 moving companies and they gave me quotes of $1200-1500 to perform the same service. The clincher was the reviews on Aglie's List that gave the company a "A" rating. I highly recommend this company.

Johnson's was very accommodating meeting my scheduling preferences. It felt like the stars aligned. Chris and Marcus were very professional and upbeat. Piano was delivered without any issues.

Called a couple places over the weekend, left a couple emails, no responses. I needed a piano relocated fast, for an upcoming party. I put Johnson's Piano moving on my list, as I didn't see an email, and noticed they didn't have Sunday hours. Called them Monday morning, spoke with Ted, and had a remarkable conversation. All positive. Response was unheard of for this area. They came out and moved my two pieces without incident, and kept to the over the phone verbal quote even though my piano was bigger than a console or a studio "whatever that means, it's my wife's piano", and I don't know the difference except upright, and grands. Anyway, I tipped the guys nicely, and would use then again in a heartbeat. Thank you Angie. The list worked again.

This went well and was over very quickly. They have the right tools to do the job with out damage to the house or the piano.

The staff arrived on time, performed the work, and left with 30 minutes.

The three movers led by Chris were very professional and did the move safely and in record time.

Chris, Marcus, and Matt (I think) moved our piano from the garage up the front steps, around a tight turn, and into our living room. They had the job finished in 15 minutes and could not have been more flawless in how they did it. Excellent work guys!

Johnson's did a very professional job in handling the piano, which is quite heavy and difficult to lift. They knew exactly what they were doing, and showed particular care and expertise in returning it to the living room and setting it up, using pads to adjust the position and not mar the piano or the floor. They were also very careful in working with me to ensure that it was returned to the same exact location. For quality of work and professionalism, I would highly recommend them, although I did find their price to be somewhat high, considering the piano only needed to be moved to an adjacent room on the same floor.

The movers were very professional and friendly. They showed up early and gave a well-in-advanced notice so that I can meet them at the first destination. Piano was carefully secured and moved.

They consolidate their moving. Used them twice. Three to four people showed up. They were very nice. Was at the end destination within 3 hours.

These guys are great. Ted was very responsive via Angie's List email to provide a quote. I called after receiving the quote to book Johnson's services and was able to schedule service for the following day. Three movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were professional and friendly, quick and efficient. They were clearly very skilled, talking to each other each step of the way. I would use Johnson's again for my next piano move.

The person who provided the estimate and scheduled the work over the phone was very polite and professional. In comparison to the other companies I called for quotes, this company asked for a lot more information about the task (e.g. descriptions of the routes in and out of the houses, dimensions and type of piano, etc.) before providing the price quote and scheduling options. The experience with her was better than any of the 4 other companies I called for quotes. The price quote was better than the other companies and they honored it on the day of service (i.e. no bait and switch on the price). The actual crew that moved the piano arrived on time, worked quickly, were easy to communicate with and completed the job in about an hour. It was an excellent experience all around and I would definitely use them again.

They were absolutely wonderful. Contacting the office is easy, they're helpful and give you a quote right away. The gentlemen called before they arrived, moved the piano without any problems. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Today they came to return the piano to the room it was in previously - again, prompt, courteous and professional. I couldn't decide whether I should use a coaster under the legs, and if so, which coaster to use (I had 3 to choose from) - they were patient, helpful and suggested we try one and see if I liked it - if not, they'd be more than willing to lift the piano and put a different coaster under the leg. I couldn't ask for any better service. I love where the piano is and how it looks with the coasters - thank you!

The team called prior to arrival as agreed and showed up on time. They were professional and friendly and took good care of our piano moving it without damage and in short order. Price was only somewhat established prior to arrival but they were entirely reasonable as we ironed out the final numbers.

Jill was professional and responsive regarding the scheduling of the move. The movers were prompt, pleasant and professional.

We called them to set up a time. They were open and flexible, so we were able to get the moving done on time! They also arrived at the expected time and moved the piano swiftly and carefully!

PERFECT at both ends, and exceptionally nice people to deal with.

The initial contact was great. We knew our moving situation would pose issues and therefore we sent measurements and pictures of our piano and new home so that they could evaluate if the piano would even be able to be moved into the location we wanted. Apparently they thought it would be ok and scheduled our move. The movers were very punctual and got to our home with no problems. The staircase to our house proved very difficult and they had to turn our piano on its side to get it around a corner. In that process, the movers put a couple of dents in the corner bead of the wall. at the top of the stairs they dropped the piano and cracked the hardwood nose piece of the staircase. We sent several emails to Johnson's following the move with no responses. We even gave them the benefit of the doubt and ignored the fact that they did not get back to us over the weekend. It has now been 6 business days without communication so we decided to post the review. We are going to have the piano inspected by the piano tuner and I hope that it was not broken by Johnson's.

Same day delivery, kept in touch throughout the day to provide status. Will use again.

The guys at Johnson's Piano moving were on time, fast efficient, and friendly. They know their business and execute it affordably and with efficiency. I made the appointment a few weeks out. They confirmed the move the day before and called the day of about an hour before the start of their scheduled 3 hour arrival window. They were in and out door to door within an hour, and they arrived at the pickup location a few minutes early. I highly recommend Johnson's for your piano move.

I had great experience with Johnson's piano moving from beginning to end. They were very responsive through email. Provided a very reasonable quote. The movers showed up within the time frame provided and were very efficient in loading up the piano. The delivery of the piano went well too. Overall they were very efficient, professional and good price.

I cannot recommend them highly enough! Wonderful service, extremely professional and for a fantastic price.

They called before coming to pick up the piano and were an hour early. When they arrived they looked at where the piano was and the path of where it would be moved out. They were super friendly and professional. They carefully removed the piano legs and parts that should be moved separately and wrapped the piano extremely well. Our piano had been damaged in a previous move (not by them) and they took extra caution to make sure that side didn't become more damaged in the move. When they got to my friends home they were super friendly and professional and helped answer all of her questions. Even helped move things out of the way in the room to make the piano fit better in the small space. I am super impressed and would recommend this company to anyone who needs a piano moved.
