I needed to have a piano moved from one house to another. I was a little anxious about this because it was a 50+ year old player piano, very heavy and needed to go down a set of steps. When I requested an estimate, Ted responded back quickly. The price was so much less than I expected. Ted was very accommodating to my schedule. The gentlemen were on time, very professional and handled my piano with great care. I would definitely hire them again should the need arise.

Johnson's Piano Moving has the most amazing group of guys I have ever seen. They are piano moving geniuses. They can do what the other piano movers said would be impossible and they did it in less than an hour! I called on a Monday and spoke with Ted Jarboe, firmed up arrangements with Ted on Tuesday for a fair price (LESS than some of the unskilled haulers I'd called), and Ted and a 5-man crew showed up right on time Thursday morning. Ted has been moving pianos for 37 years and he's a master at knowing how to maneuver huge, heavy objects through small, unforgiving spaces, all without putting a scratch on the piano or the surrounding rooms. He was the only person I called who actually sounded like he understood how difficult this would be and knew what needed to be done to move the piano safely. The crew performed unbelievable feats of strength, leverage, and smarts, and they were polite and good-natured to boot. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks, guys!

Fantastic job. Exactly as described, all instruments handled with professionalism and care.

It went very well. They showed up when they said they would, moved the piano quickly, and charged what they estimated.

I should have done a video. The workers knew exactly how to handle this one. Using ramps, a dolly, protective coverings, they had it done in 20 minutes. They covered the outside concrete steps with padding so that the piano was protected at all times. Move went flawlessly. The lead worker laid it all out and he and his three helpers were cooperative, cheerful and careful. And, it was hard work. Came out great. Don't plan to move this instrument for a while, but when I do, I'm calling Johnson. And, they only move pianos. They do it right.

I read a lot of good reviews on this company, that is why I choose them. But I am really disappointed for two reasons: 1. they forget to get caster cup. After a few minutes, I called them to come back to get the caster cup since I don't want piano to hurt my wood floor in another house, they said it is too far. The lesson is that please remember by yourselves that let them take caster cup, otherwise they will ignore it. 2. When they come into your house, they will strongly imply that they need the tips even though the piano hasn't been moved to another house. Again, this happened to me, but they have a lot of good reviews and so make your own decision.
