Description of Work: These guys are great! They were extremely punctual, almost early, no-nonsense, and good. They had to get the piano up out of a basement with a tight corner. It was tricky, but they did it very well. It was a team of three, with one guy watching and coaching (helpful for the perspective on distances) and the other two doing the lifting. They were very polite and mellow. (Perhaps I was the one who was stressed!) When they brought the piano in to our house, they made sure we took a moment to connect an extension cord to the outlet the piano would cover up, and showed us how to move the piano ourselves by tilting it slightly. They were much cheaper than others I called, and very capable.

They did a wonderful job. They put it back together, and it sounds wonderful. They were very careful and very prompt, and I was impressed with how gently they treated the piano. The price was good, and I would certainly recommend them.

Very pleased. They were very careful with the piano. Frankly, this was an easy job, as the piano was on the first floor of the house and the storage unit is on the ground level as well. But the movers were obviously competent, and they were punctual, polite and careful. Price was better than most other companies we contacted. We will use them again for moving the piano back.
Description of Work: Johnson's moved our piano from our house (1st floor) to a climatized storage unit we had rented (not connected with Johnson's) so it would be out of the way during a renovation.

2 movers arrived right on time and carefully and professionally moved the piano from the 1st floor to the second floor. They knew exactly what they were doing and moved the piano without a scratch.

The movers were professional and careful. Although they were a little later than initially expected, they called us to let us know they were behind schedule. The movers found a simpler route into our house by using the back door (thus avoiding the need to go up the stairs to our front door), and the piano was delivered without a scratch!
