One day last week to discover a bunch of ants crawling on my kitchen floor and counter. I killed all I saw and wiped the area with vinegar water. This was the second or third time this summer that we've had ants in our kitchen, so I went to Angie's list and researched exterminators. I bought a special from Enviro-Tech Pest Services through Angie's list, which promised they would call me by today. I was desperate; however, so I called them on Friday morning in the hopes of getting scheduled as soon as their schedule allowed. I was pleasantly surprised when the customer service person said she could have someone to my house the next day between 3 and 5. The tech arrived that Saturday shortly before 3:00 PM and looked around. I showed him where I'd seen ants and he sprayed along the baseboards in the kitchen and baited the top of the back splash. Since we didn't see any ants at the time of his arrival, he couldn't find where the ants were entering my kitchen so he jelled a few likely spots. He offered to do other parts of the house but we decided the kitchen was enough. If the ants returned, he advised me to call him and put down a little jelly to attract them so we could see their entry spot. He promised their indoor work is covered by a warranty and any ants we see outside crawling on the house; so not the yard. That's fine I wouldn't expect it to cover the yard. He told me to keep my cat away for about an hour and we did. She was sniffing the corner and baseboards a few hours later and she seems fine. I guess their pesticide is relatively safe. I guess I'll know how effective it is if the ants return. I didn't have to pay any money other than the $150 I paid to Angie's list. The tech took my printed coupon and left. I think they are new to Angie's list because both the customer service rep and the tech seemed a little confused as to their process regarding the pre-paid Angie's list offer. However, they didn't hassle me about it at all so that's a big plus in my book. So, long story short: I'm impressed with their responsiveness, availability, professionalism, and price.

We had a persistent small ant problem in the Main bathroom over the past couple of years. We finally sought professional help to solve the problem. Called Mike at Envirotech Pest Services based on the reviews on Angie?s list. Mike came out on the scheduled appointment time and treated the outside of the house. He guaranteed that the treatment would get rid of the infestation or he would return and continue treatment at no additional cost until the problem was solved. Within a week after the treatment, we saw small ants in the Kitchen area on the other side of the house. Called Mike and told him of the new problem. Mike came out again and performed another treatment around the house. It now appears that the problem has been solved. Mike came as scheduled and did what he said he would do. He is a true professional. We have found a pest control service that we will use again if needed.

He is a nice guy and the same all the time. He is friendly.

I found bed bugs in a bed in our home, and Enviro-Tech was very responsive and provided the best treatment for this problem (superheat). The crew was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. I really appreciated Jeremy's kindness in this extremely stressful situation. I would highly recommend their services for anyone else who might find themselves in this horrible situation. The treatment is expensive but it took all day, so I think it was fair and reasonable under the circumstances.

Every summer for the past four years I've been living with what I thought were wasps and small but ugly nests on the ceiling of my balcony. Needless to say it was hard to enjoy the outdoor space. I researched big-name providers and stumbled upon Enviro-Tech. Their ad on the web said same day service but that was not offered to me. However, it was easy to schedule an appointment within a few days. The technician came within our two hour scheduled time and he quickly identified and explained the behavior of the bug, and prescribed a plan for that day and the rest of the summer to treat the area. He knocked down the old nests (even helped sweep them up!) and sprayed the area to prevent their return. He guaranteed the treatment for thirty days. After that he will come once per month to treat the area at a lower price. I believe I got thorough, friendly customer service that I couldn't have gotten from a larger service provider. Highly recommend Enviro-Tech!

I called Enviro-Tech for a home pest inspection as part of a mortgage refinance process. The inspection was fairly quick but thorough. The inspector discovered some carpenter bee damage, but was able to treat it on the spot, and I thought the price was quite reasonable.

It's just a central number that I always call and they always call me to set up the appointments. So far my experience has been excellent. A different person did it the other week and I wasn't that impressed with him but I don't know if he was a new employee. Usually they are excellent and nice as can be. They've always been perfect and if I needed them to come back for anything they always were more than glad to do that. I think their prices are competitive and they certainly seem honest in trying to do a good job. Their price on the service is good when I compared them for the termite thing; I ended up using another provider instead because the price was better. My daughters also have a service contract with them.

Unbeknown to me, Yellow Jackets built a nest just outside our garage door. While cleaning my car, I was stung twice before realizing what happened. I got to safety and watched them attack the tail light of my car. This went on until dusk when they returned to their nest. The next day they swarmed the car again when I opened the garage door. That is when I realized that I needed professional help against these persistent and dangerous pests. Because it was Saturday, I had difficulty reaching most of the local pest control services. I did talk with a Diane at Enviro-Tech and explained the urgency of my problem. She said she would contact a technician and he would return my call within an hour. About 10 minutes later, Aaron (the technician) called and asked for my address. He then said that he could be at my home within ten minutes. Within 15 minutes, Aaron was at my home. I showed him the problem and he discussed his solution along with the cost, $225. Aaron also discussed other services, costs, and warranties offered by his company. I agreed to the contract, paid for the service and Aaron did his thing. After he was done, the wasps were gone and remain so to this day, Wednesday. I found Aaron to be pleasant, professional, knowledgable and informative. All told, I am pleased, but I do think the service was expensive. However, I did not have time to comparison shop.

They have a quick response time and they are very personable.

I discovered termite damage on some trim on the outside of my house. My contractor who was replacing the trim and damage recommended Enviro-tech as a and quot;greenand quot; pest control company. I don't use any pesticides on or around my home, so getting a service who provided alternative options was important. The rep arrived right on time and was very up to date on environmentally friendly options for termite control. He did a good inspection of the inside and outside of the house. Having other companies come out prior, I had some that tried to scare you into harsh applications and used scare tactics to get you to sign and buy on the spot. The rep from Enviro-tech was just the opposite - he didn't push me to buy immediately and his main goal was to educate me on the options. I purchased the Sentricon bait system, and Enviro-tech even price matched another company to get my business. The rep was out the next week to install the system. There were a few areas that posed problems (the ground was too hard to penetrate with the normal tools). The office is working to resolve these for us. I've had to call the office a few times regarding scheduling, and they are very professional and have gotten back to me very quickly. Overall a nice experience. Would recommend having them come out and give you a quote on all of your pest issues.

The personnel that comes out are great. We have had to have them come back out and they are always willing to do so. The chemicals are not harmful to our pets as well.

They evaluated an ant problem we had with ants coming into the house and sprayed the perimiter, set traps near where they thought the nest was and signed us up for a recurring service to treat our house that is located in a heavily wooded area. 4 weeks later we still had occasional ants coming into the house and they came back and re-treated. Both times it was the same technician, he was courteous and on time.

I was very pleased with the overall service. The technician was very courteous and professional. Any problems that we were experiencing have been eliminated at this time. We hope to have a long and successful relationship with the service provider.

They are on an ongoing basis and come out every quarter. We pay an annual charge on the termite control and pay every quarter for the general treatment. They spray inside as well as out. There are two different procedures. They come quarterly for the termites. We have some baited traps in the house and we have sentricon outside of the house. They come to check the baited traps inside the house to see if there is any activity and to check the sentricon stations outside of the house to see if there is any activity. So I have two different sets of Enviro Tech people coming quarterly. I find them responsive. When I have had issues where I have thought that something has run amok with the termites, I would call them and the girl was usually there that day or the next day. They have always been very responsive and very quick. I thought their price was reasonable. I want to say that the termite control is around $300.00 a year but I am not sure. They have different offices and different franchises and our people come out of Harpers Ferry West Virginia.

They use environmental friendly products. They are affordable. The guy who runs the company is very knowledgeable. He is entomologist. He knows bugs and things like that. It?s a local company too. If there is any problem they come right out. According to the contract if there is any problem within the 3 months they will come out and spray for it. Overall there have been ups and downs with the quality. They are very punctual; if I tell them to come at the beginning of the summer instead of winter they do it. I pay too much. Last year we had 3 birds that had flown into our vent and they came out and dealt with it. The guy who came out was very patient. They were very professional. We had somebody else come in and clean. He coordinated it. He was really good about that. There?s a lots of stories like that.
