Came out initially in April 2010 for control of ants in the house. Treatment worked, I signed a contract for them to come out quarterly for preventive treatment. Did not get a call over the summer for a quarterly treatment. Contacted them, and it took several tries to get a call back. They did couldn't locate my contract. When they finally did, they said they had had some changes in the office administration, and it must have gotten lost in the changeover. They finally came out in November, and treated again. They did contact me about a month ago for another treatment, but if they left a message and I called them back, I rarely got a person. I would leave a message and not get a call back for days, if at all. When I leave a message with a company, I do expect to not have to remember to do it again, as they should call me back! They left me a message with a possible date, and I called them back with other dates that worked, as the one they suggested did not work for me. I did not get a call back at all. I finally called them last week, and (of course) had to leave a message that if I did not hear back within a day, I will assume they can't do the work and I will call someone else. Someone returned the call within an hour, and she apologized for not calling back sooner, saying there was a death in the family. I expressed condolences, and we made an appointment for yesterday (Monday) for them to come at 1 p.m. At approximately 1:30 I got a call from the office saying the exterminators were delayed in traffic, and asking if they can come at 2 instead. I told her I had to leave the house at 2, and they could come after 4, as I'd be home for the rest of the day after that. She told me she'd call them and call me back either way letting me know if they could come after 4. She did not call me back at all, and they never showed up. Shipley seems nice, and their treatment worked, but their record-keeping and responsiveness to phone calls was just too poor and aggravating for me to continue using them. Today I called another company. Hopefully I will have better luck with them.

THE EXTERMINATOR RETURNED OUR CALLS IN A TIMELY MANNER. WHEN COMING BACK FOR THE RE-SPRAY HE WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. HE WAS ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL BOTH TIMES HE CAME TO OUR HOUSE.
