Description of Work: AGV came out & was there when I needed them They did a good job at a reasonable price. [have a 1/2 acre] I'm very glad to have found them.

+ -1 moreThese guys were a big help with taking over the lawn mowing in the middle of the Summer. We were using another company and we always had to call them to come. If we didn't, they wouldn't come. It was frustrating. I called this place and the man I spoke with came by right away to look at my lawn and give me a quote. He said they would come every other Friday; no need to call. He also said, if for some reason they don't make it on Friday, they will be here on Saturday. They did just that. I never had to call and remind them to come. Very nice, fast and they did a great job with the lawn. I'm planning to use them this coming Summer.

+ -1 moreI should have been skeptical because I called AGV on 10/26/12 and didn't get an answer and left no message. He called me back TWICE later on that day (I guess he has caller-id) and said he was available to cut my mother's grass the next morning and would charge $40. He arrived on time with a worker. Within 15 minutes, he had "finished". When my mother asked him why he hadn't cut the grass on the side of the house (she'd moved her car so that he would have access), he told her "That doesn't need cutting". When she mentioned that there were patches in the back yard that also hadn't been cut, he walked away, stating "I don't need this s***!". He didn't ask for any payment and, needless to say, she didn't pay him anything. The other reviews here must have been submitted by Mr. Guevera or his relatives!

Description of Work: Albert is AMAZING! He is the best. I called to see if his company could help clean up my parent's yard before they put their house up for sale. My parent's yard is almost a half an acre and is full of very large, mature trees. Albert arrived on time and was very polite, friendly, and helpful. He made suggestions on how to improve the yard prior to the sale. He didn't try to sell us a service we didn't need. In the end, he suggested we pull all weeds (there were lots of them), bag leaves, mow, lay down mulch, plant flowers, and generally "clean" all areas of the yard that were full of fallen branches and twigs. He also suggested cleaning the gutters and power washing the upper and lower cement patios. His quoted price for all this work was FANTASTIC. Very affordable. He said the work would take two days. He and his team arrived on time for the job. Their work was wonderful. He and his team went above and beyond our expectations. It is easily the best customer service and work I have ever received. I highly recommend Albert!

+ -1 moreMr. Guvera was very polite and returned my call within a very reasonable time.
Description of Work: I phoned this company to see if they could mow my lawn. I am in the Arbutus area of Baltimore County. Mr. Guevera let me know that they only mow lawns in the Catonsville area unless it is a large job because of the cost and that it does not pay to just do small lawn service. I thanked him for returning my call so quickly. He was very polite and said he was sorry. I understand completely.

+ -1 moreExcellent. Does a great job cutting the grass and trimming of large yard. The only contractor I spoke to who was willing to cut my grass without me having to sign a contract, and was flexible on the timing. Many contractors require you sign a contract and commit to a specific number of visits, including weekly visits in April/May. AGV does not require a contract and is flexible enough to do what you ask.
Description of Work: Hired to mow lawn every two weeks.

+ 0 moreThey were very nice. For the grass cutting service, they seem to be cutting corners more than they used to. Cutting the grass when it did not need to be cut due to lack of rain. Cutting with too big a mower so when they went over bump - it took all the grass off and left a bald patch. They also will cut it when the grass is very wet - and it left ruts in the ground.
Description of Work: We use them for lawn cutting, mostly. Once we used them to remove some dying plants and basic lawn work. It went fine. It achieved the desired results which was a simpler to maintain yard. Price is for a spring/summer/fall of lawn cutting. I put date of 4 July since that is the middle of lawn cutting season.

+ 0 moreAVG did a full leaf removal and yard cleanup, once in early Oct and again in mid-Nov ($120 each time), and a final run-through in mid-Dec (not as much debris that time, lower price - $80). They were very curteous, punctual, professional, and did a wonderful job each time - they even went around my Christmas decorations and wiring without disturbing anything! I plan on using them next spring/summer for cutting the grass as well. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: I had AVG remove the leaves from my lawn and perform general yard cleanup.

+ -1 moreI would recommend them. I have only had them this summer. They have been perfectly reliable. I found them through word of mouth. Mr. Albert Guevara is the owner of the company. I don?t have any complaints about them. They come out every week and check with me and see if I need a cut or if they have to wait for a week. They are knowledgeable and courteous. They are open for extra jobs. They tackle anything I ask them to.
