Jeff & his crew were great! They responded immediately to my phone calls, and were done putting the fence up before I got home! The quality of their work was great and they were extremely prompt!

I was very pleased at first. They did it all in one day. They completed the work very fast. In November A deer got into the yard and was fighting with my 20 month old dog. The deer caused damaged to the fence by tearing up a panel and put dents in a couple other panels. I was disappointed that I was charged for a repair on a brand new fence. It is described as a deer fence.

Phoenix Fence restored our faith in contractors! This company is absolutely amazing. Jeff Rogers is by far the most honest businessman we've ever dealt with (and we've replaced or remodeled basically our entire home over the last six years). To begin with, he answers the business line directly and immediately asks what days and times work for you for a personal on-site visit and estimate. No subordinates or project managers; Jeff himself comes out and applies his expertise to provide an accurate estimate. After the estimate he sits down and crunches the numbers based on what you're in the market for. But the best (and most impressive) part is, he volunteers what the most economical options are, rather than try to up-sell you on something superficial and unnecessary. That in particular was such a pleasant part of the experience for my wife and me. The company maintains its own lumberyard and trust me when I say that is reflected in the price. It's not a gimmick when you're told that the savings are passed onto the customer. Installation was incredible. Jeff sent several members of his crew out and in two days they 1) removed 200 feet of old chain link fence; 2) removed tree limbs and a TON of invasive brush encumbering the new fence line; 3) constructed an absolutely beautiful fence; and 4) cleaned up the work area to the point that without a new fence we would have had no idea that anyone had been there. Trust me -- my wife and I are shrewd consumers. We do our due diligence, and we know the difference between basic and exceptional services. If you're shopping for a new fence, don't bother with those behemoth one-stop shopping companies and call Phoenix Fence and Deck. We couldn't be happier.

Phoenix provided a written estimate to replace my back yard fence with a 6 foot privacy fence. The price was competitive but not quite as much a value as the alternative we selected based on cost and aesthetics. It was a close consideration, however. I suggest talking to them about their options as they seemed to offer a good product.

The crew arrived on time, performed their work flawlessly, and cleaned up well removing all traces of the old fence. The company arranged for the county permit and a utility check before initiating the work. The new fence looks great; the gates work well.

Jeff is a professional, man of his word. Very responsive and values a satisfied customer with no quibbling. Crew was competent and courteous, cleaned up well and careful to find out exactly the way we wanted things done in areas that required judgment call. Offered recommendations to make the job look even better than anticipated.

After 8 months of frustrating back-and-forth with five other fence companies who didn't return calls, flaked out, etc., we signed on with Phoenix. After all the bad experiences, I was almost dubious of the uniformly rave reviews on Angie's List. But add us to the fan club. Rosco was quick and professional in coming out to provide a quote, Jeff was great to work with as the job commenced, and crew was great. They scheduled the job in under 3 weeks in the busy part of the season. The whole job took less than 2 days to complete. Fence appears to be great in quality and appearance. Have already gotten a lot of admiring comments on the appearance. Price was on the lower end of the range of quotes we got. (Final price was higher than it could have been due to upgrades we requested.) Some of these other companies out there could sure learn some things from Phoenix's operation. Professionalism, communication, responsiveness, quality, and price were all great. I recommend them without hesitation.

He did a great job, I did not have any problems. He was very professional and he made every effort to be in touch with us after for follow up. We loved him. His price was reasonable and he gave us a discount.

The owner is totally professional, responsive and knowledgable. The price was right in line with what we hoped to pay and we had gotten other estimates that were thousands more. His installers showed up on time and worked all day to finish the job, cleared all the debris etc from taking out the old fence. The fence and gates have held up beautifully and I highly recommend this company.

Jeff's team from Phoenix fence installed our backyard fence in Spring 2013. This month, I noticed part of the fence installed was leaning towards the house. I emailed Jeff about the problem and within a few days they repaired the leaning section of the fence at no charge. Very good customer service.

The whole fence project went very smoothly from estimate to completion of work. It was put up in advance of the projected date. Jeff Rogers is great to work with, I wish he could sort out all my other home projects for which I have yet to find good contractors. The price was good and service great.

Jeff and his crew were fantastic. Two of my arbor posts were rotting at the base and a portion of my fence was being pulled over by a neighbor's very large maple tree. I contacted Jeff by phone on a Thursday to get an estimate. To my delight he was able to come on Saturday morning to assess the work needed and provide an estimate. Jeff easily explained the extent of damage to my arbor posts and fence and how they could be fixed. He then wrote up an estimate which seemed very reasonable. I signed the contract that day and Jeff told me the work could be completed within 2 weeks. He called about a week later to schedule his team for the next day. The two person crew arrived on time and I went over the work with them. I left for an appointment and when I returned about 3 hours later, the work was done. The did a beautiful job and I am really happy with the work. From start to finish it was a real pleasure to deal with Jeff and his crew. Jeff was extremely professional and it was clear upon meeting him that I would be happy with the work. Like many others I was thrilled to find such a competent contractor willing to do a relatively small job. I felt he gave the same level of service regardless of how big or small the contract. Jeff is a real gem and a really nice guy. I'd use him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him.

Let me start by saying - IF YOU NEED A FENCE CALL JEFF. Period. He employees are top notch and Jeff is a great business owner. Having said that please read on. The true test of any contractor is when things do not go as planned. Here is what happened and why I WILL ALWAYS CALL JEFF FIRST FOR MY FENCE NEEDS. Jeff's two construction guys, Angel and Santos, arrived and went right to work. Unfortunately, there was an electrical wire buried underground about 24" and it was not marked. (The fence connects the main house to the pool house.) When Angel began to dig a new post hole, he cut through it (on Friday before Labor Day). Angel told me about the problem and I called Jeff. Jeff came over with all of the necessary repair parts within an hour and spliced it. He explained exactly what he was doing to fix it (which comported with the instructions I received from an electrician I had call before calling Jeff.) Once repaired, the men finished putting up the fence and gate. I asked Jeff if they could repair another gate in our backyard, but it was not "fixable". It needed to be replaced. For one thing, it was not made of cedar and was very heavy. Jeff said if there was enough cedar and other material on the truck they would replace it. He gave me an extremely reasonable price. The work looks beautiful and I could not be happier. (The new driveway was poured today.) Contrast this with the fact that I could not get the fencing company that had installed the majority of the original fence (but not the fence/gate) several years earlier to even look at replacing the fence/gate in November 2012. They asked me to send them pictures and said they would give me an estimate. I called and emailed and begged and pleaded, but never got an estimate. Another well know fencing company sent a guy out and I got and estimate for $1,140 for just the fence/gate portion (i.e. did not include the 2nd gate Jeff replaced as an add-on to the contracted job).

Jeff met with us for an estimate and was very upfront about the materials and their limitations and warrantees for each kind of job. Jeff's estimate beat out a competitor's estimate by a slight margin. Jeff handled all the permits. The services went well, were on time, and were professionally handled. It was completed in 2 days, as expected. I was able to discuss with the foreman at brief points while the backyard leveling was taking place. They removed and hauled away all the large rocks and concrete remnants. I was glad to have these two services (landscaping and fencing) done together by the same contactor, for not only did it accommodate the proper leveling of the fence along the perimeter, I had other reasons for wanting the landscaping done as well (water drainage around garage and to provide flat surface in backyard, etc.). The fence was professionally installed. At the final walkthrough, I noticed that the back part of the fence did not completely touch ground as in other areas (maybe an inch open margin). Because we wanted the fence for an eventual dog, I was somewhat concerned that a dog might be invited to dig in such spots. The foreman was very amenable, though, and he had the team attach horizontal slabs of fence wood along the entire bottom perimeter of the back side, thus alleviating our concern. I suppose that I would have liked the fence touching the ground the first time around, but the horizontal slabs seem to accommodate my concerns and may prove to be better in the end as it provides a double layer of reinforcement in this area. I am writing this review after 30 days of having the fence installed, and so far I haven't noticed any twisting or warping of pine fence slabs (as Jeff mentioned might happen and eventually will with a small percentage of boards of this type - but would be covered by 5-yr warranty). There was some damage (cracking) done to the backyard pavement, probably unavoidable, by the Bobcat, and some minor debris (spill) was not picked up in front drive.

Because my job was small, I had a difficult time getting vendors to come to my home to provide an estimate. Instead, they provided ballpark amounts on the phone or didn't respond. One company suggested that I consider replacing the entire fence because that was a job they would take. Fortunately, I found Phoenix Fence & Deck. They arrived when they said they would and provided a free, written estimate that was good for 30 days. The price was consistent with what others said would be the ballpark. When I decided to go with them, they informed me that they were scheduling 2-4 weeks out. Because I had a small job, they were able to work me into the schedule and complete the job within one week. The cost was exactly what was quoted to me even though they replaced more boards. My fence now has sturdy posts and my gate has a working latch. I am very happy with the work performed by Phoenix and would definitely contact them again and refer them to others.

I truly wish that my experience with Jeff and his team was like every contractor I hire. From beginning to end the experience was exemplary. You schedule your appointment directly with Jeff and he gets right back to you. He is there when he says he will be there and ready to go with a smile. His sales approach is low pressure and he takes the time to work with you through various options. He offers a variety of fencing options and I considered several before making my decision. Jeff was extremely patient as I went through the options. His price point for the same materials and fencing type was SIGNIFICANTLY below the competitors. I remember saying to myself ?how does he do that?? Another feature that I REALLY like now is that he builds his gates out of cedar. This makes the gate much lighter and super easy to open and close with the high quality hinge materials he specs. When the installation team arrives this high level of professionalism and attention to detail continues. The job foremen reviews the whole plan with you and asks any clarifying questions before the work starts. Jeff?s team is efficient and neat, our yard had NOTHING left behind. As I have a toddler that will be ANYTHING in his mouth (if you give him half a second), I looked for nails, scraps of wood, large wood chips and there was NOTHING to be found. I recommend Phoenix Deck and Fence without reservation, they are truly exemplary!!!

Jeff Rogers, the owner of Phoenix Fence, came to the home to give me an estimate. He was very professional and gave a detailed quote setting forth time and labor and a drawing of what he would do. He explained his proposal and options very clearly. I regarded proposed cost as very reasonable for the job. He told me when he could get to the project and actually was able to get there sooner than projected. The work was high quality and done efficiently. When I called about the need for an adjustment to the latch on the new fence, Jeff readily agreed to address the adjustment and did so promptly. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Phoenix Fence.

Phoenix Fence and Deck did not disappoint. From the initial estimate performed by Roscoe; to confirming the install date and arranging payment with Jeff, the owner; and ending with Alex and his crew installing the fence in 1-day... the entire process was fast, efficient, and extremely well priced. The installation crew was incredibly accomodating and professional. They made a few fence modifications mid-install without question, or hesitation. The site was cleaned up after completion and actually left neater then when they began. It was clear that their main objective was to make sure that we would be happy with the finished project. Period. We could not be happier with the quality of work and overall price of the project. Highly recommend.

Incredibly punctual, efficient and stellar work. While we were doing post-fire repairs on the house, we decided to bite the bullet and have the entire yard fenced in. Jeff was very helpful in providing us with various options to optimize our views of the forest behind the house (hence the chain fence in the back -- practically unobstructed view of the landscape) while adding privacy on the side abutting the neighbors' yard. Jeff gave us a very reasonable estimate, was open to some last minute changes, got the permits done rather quickly, scheduled the build for a couple of weeks out, and was finished (in one day) with the whole thing by the time I got there in the afternoon to come see the work. I highly recommend Phoenix for their professionalism, value and results.

Fantastic service and quality start to finish. Rocco did the estimate, professional, kind, not pushy at all. Continued to communicate with Jeff via email. He answered all questions, explained everything, returned emails promptly, took care of all the bureaucracy with the permit. The team of installers were quick and professional, and really did an outstanding job. Transformed the backyard, looks so good!

I dealt with Jeff, the owner, for the most part, and it was very easy communicating and working with him during the projects. Furthermore, the workmen did excellent jobs, the fences and gates were done exactly to my specifications, and the areas were left completely spotless. He was also very reasonable with respect to payment and helped me to stay within my budget which I appreciated.
