The service was excellent! The technician (Oupekkha) arrived on time, explained what he would need to do, and set to work. He was very pleasant and finished the job quickly and efficiently. An adjustment was made as the deal was for two hours of work and this job took less than an hour. I would definitely use this company again and request Oupekkha.

I would recommend OC1 Electric. I was contacted ahead of time and details of the visit were clarified. The service person arrived on time. He was polite and friendly. He was careful of my home and cleaned up after himself. The work was completed in a timely fashion and explanation of what was done and why was given.

We live in a high-rise in Leisure World, and the job was complicated because the original owner installed a medallion on the dining room ceiling that covered the electrical outlet. The center of the medallion was off-center and the outlet was covered with a metal plate. We to two estimates, one for $850 and the other for $425 from OC1. We went with the cheaper and were very pleased that we did. OC1 hung a nice-looking chain across the ceiling to a junction box, and dropped a wire down to the wall switch. He then installed a three-light pendant which now looks terrific. We did have a problem with Home Depot, which sold us a unit with a damaged shade. OC1 came back after I returned the first fixture and installed the replacement at no charge even though I tried to pay him for the return visit.

Called OC1 Electric and explained the problem. Oupekkha gave me an appointment that afternoon. He called 30 minutes in advance to say he was on his way, and he came on time. After diagnosing the problem, he immediately got to work and completed the job in 30 minutes, having to go into the attic to repair wiring up there. I will definitely call him again for future electrical work.

I had used OC1 to replace light switches in my husband's office. They did such a nice job I had them look at all the electric needs in the house. So this was the second time I used them, They arrived on time and did the work in the time they said they would . Electric wires had to be threaded up from our basement panel to the kitchen island so drywall was cut in our exercise room right below the island. They patched up the dry wall with painters tape until I get a handyman (from Angies List) to come out. It looks a lot better than I thought it would. Most important is they draped everything and cleaned up better than most contractors. They leave their shoes at the front door. I could barely tell they had been here. I'm fussy so that's saying a lot. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

OC1 was great to work with. He showed up to my house before I was finished building a built-in bookcase, and told me that it would be better for him to perform his work when I finished building it. He didn't charge me for this initial trip to my home. When he came back to perform the service, he explained things well and left the worksite very clean. He was very responsive and flexible with my schedule. Highly recommend going with him!

They were quick to contact me about scheduling a visit, and showed up right on time for the appointment. They made a quick trip to Strosnider's to get the right circuit breaker, and finished the work quickly. The outlet was close to some furniture and delicate equipment, but they were careful to keep clear of everything.

We had a ceiling fan that stopped working. OC1 came out on time, found out that we had a bad receiver for our remote and rewired the fan without the remote. They offered to get a new remote from Home Depot but that would have addd another $100 to the bill and given the location we chose not to do that. They fixed it and got the fan and light working. Total time was about an hour. I had purchased the Angies List Big Deal for $49 for the service call which applied $100 toward credit for the repair. For OC1 it appears to work like this: their normal service price for a call is $190. So they knock off $100 but when you add back the $49 for the Big Deal, it's really just a $51 discount. This wasn't very clear on the fine print of the deal. But they did a good job and I'm pleased with the service.

Provider provided excellent service. Repaired and installed new lights. Was always on time and offered advice on maintenance and care of lighting fixtures. Will recommend provider's services every time.

It all went quite fast. The provider seemed very knowledgeable about what could go wrong with a garbage disposal unit and fixed it in no time. All in all, it took maybe 20 minutes, at most, which, if one takes into account the cost of the Angie's List offer purchased (at 175 US$) and the charge to the credit for repairs (40 US$), or 215 US$ in total, seems a lot, given the limited amount of time it took to repair the unit. It would probably have been more cost effective to contact the provider directly, without buying Angie's List's offer.

It was a very pleasant experience working with OC. He scheduled a consult appointment during our initial conversation. During the consultation, he listened patiently to our ideas and provided suggestions accordingly. He also provided a plan and estimated cost during the visit. We were very pleased with his fee, which was very reasonable. While we waited for the materials to arrive OC stayed in touch, which we appreciated. The work was completed in one day. OC was very efficient and left the worksite clean when job was completed. I called him a day after installation to discuss a concern I had. He was very pleasant and immediately made arrangements to come out to address the situation. OC is very personable and professional. I will call him for future electrical needs and highly recommend him to friends and family members.

The work went extremely well. Mr. Chanthavong was recommended to me through word of mouth. We spoke at length on the phone about the job, the materials involved, the labor and where I wanted the outlets to be installed. He came to my apartment to survey the work that needed to be done. We made an appointment for the work to start. Unfortunately, I could not be home on the day Mr. Chanthavong was set to begin working. Mr. Chanthavong reassured me that he could meet me at the apartment and that he could be trusted to be left alone to complete the job. I know the job involved cutting through dry wall, which normally leaves a lot of drywall dust behind on everything. I was expecting to come home to a bit of a mess. To my delight, I walked into my apartment at the end of the day to a dust free apartment. All the new outlets were in the exact location we had discussed. Mr. Chanthavong had patched up (I found out later) a couple of holes he had to make through the drywall in order to pull/install new electrical wiring through the walls. In all honesty, Mr. Chanthavong hadn't volunteered the information about having to cut through the drywall, I would never have noticed this because he spackled, sanded and painted over the holes in the drywall. The kitchen was as clean as I had left it. Mr. Chanthavong made sure that I did not come home to a mess and I appreciated that. The fact that he only charged $175 for the job was amazing. I highly recommend Mr. Chanthavong because he is honest, timely, fair, works hard, and is a consummate professional. I would hire him for any electrical work that comes up in my place.
