Pete was professional, responsive and completed all tasks as requested. The price was reasonable.

After many year of finding the most accommodating services, Pete's One Call was the best, in our experience. On Monday we called around to clean up the jungle in our back yard, including weeds and poison ivy infestation. By Wednesday he hauled 23 bags away and there was no trace of debris. It was a big job and we haven't tended to our yard all summer. Pete's best quality was that he was excellent at communicating via phone/text and he was upfront to set expectations. This included price of the job and timing. In addition, this was a one time job. This service is difficult for us in DC since all other services require one to sign up for their service. One week is an estimate, the next week they will overprice you to do the job. Pete did it in one week without hooking you. We didnt know all of our grass died, it was all weeds and vines. After the job it was evident there was no grass. Highly recommend his service!

Pete was great. Called him up to get a quote. He went by a day later and called me with a quote. I gave him the go-ahead and he was back in less than a week to do the small job. Great service. Super reasonable price. Looking forward to working with Pete again!

I emailed thru the Angie's List on March 23, 2016 and sent the following message: Dear Pete's One Call Lawn Care, I just purchased a service from your company. Please review the details below and respond within 2 business days to schedule the service. Scheduling Member suggested dates to schedule service: Morning (AM) on 3/23/2016 Morning (AM) on 3/24/2016 Morning (AM) on 3/25/2016 Note from Allen James This is for grass cutting/weeding at a church; [Removed member information] in DC. I'd like all dead bushes, plants, etc. to be removed as well. I'd like this service performed ASAP. I then sent another email to confirm what I sent previously and provide an alternate number: I just purchased one of your services and would like to move quickly if possible. Please call at [Removed member information] today if you can get the work done today. Pete's Lawn Care contacted us and said they'd be there Friday, March 25, 2016 to view the property and cut immediately or gather more tools and come back to cut and they call us back to let us know which course of action they'd take. Pete's Lawn never called back and we waited at the property for 1/2 the day for these people. Pete's Lawn Care finally called late Friday afternoon/ early evening (March 25, 2016) and said they'd be late, then called back stating their truck broke down enroute. They asked could they cut the grass early the next morning, Saturday, March 26, 2016? We stated no and that the afternoon is better because we'd be unavailable or they could come Sunday morning. Pete's Lawn responded with they couldn't come Sunday because they had to go to the Eastern Shore Maryland to visit his son for Sunday and take him an Easter basket. We texted Pete's Lawn on the 26, 2, and 28th with no response from anyone. This is the worst service I've had with any lawn care service. I don't recommend this company for anything at all.

I called Pete, gave him my address to review what needed to be done. He was able to stop by, quoted me a price for removal over the phone, and scheduled a date. I was not in a rush to have this done and the date was pushed a couple of days. I was available on the date he could make it and he came at the time he said he would be there. He kept me informed on what he was doing and finished the job quickly. I'm very happy with his work.

Great service. Very friendly and responsive. Work was immaculate. Payment and communication methodologies were quick and easy.

Nothing happened because they never showed up, I didn't even get a phone call to reschedule or be informed they weren't coming. Extremely unprofessional as I planned my day around them coming out.

PETE IS FICKLE, UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Wed 9/9/15, I contacted owner, Pete Sanz for a lawn mowing quote. He said he'd come the next day. When he didn't show, I called and he said an employee got sick and he had to work late, but he did not give a courtesy call to inform me. Fri 9/11/15, he arrived with a small mower, stating he thought my lawn was small, and he could not mow immediately as promised. I said he should have asked me about the size when we spoke. He walked the lawn, and quoted $120, stating it would require 2 cuts because of the length, and him having to take the grass away, and $60 to continue cutting biweekly. We shook hands and agreed he would cut on Mon 9/14/15. ONCE AGAIN PETE WAS A NO-SHOW. I called and he said he sent his guys to VA with the bagging mower, and he had re-thought cutting my lawn because he would have to take the grass away. It was a LAME EXCUSE, as he had already stated he would dispose of the grass, because this is what lawn professionals do. The real problem however, was him NOT having the professionalism or courtesy to call and inform me of his change of mind, and once again HAD ME WAITING FOR SERVICE HE AGREED TO, BUT KNEW HE WOULD NOT HONOR. PETE IS FICKLE, UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. We PAY to join Angies List for the best, and Pete has proven that he is more MEDIOCRE than the solicitors that knock on your door for day business. He is not worthy of being on a pay site.

For starters it seemed as though I kept missing Pete phone calls and seemed like one thing after another, but fortunately we manage to finally meet and go over the particulars of my yard. Pete was very understanding of my situation and he understood right away what needed to be done. Pete accessed my yard and gave me an estimate. On the day of his actual service Pete came into my home to let me know he had arrived. He began to do the work just as he had outlined during our initial meeting. Pete was able to do the task at hand and he ensured I was pleased with his work. Pete is fairly inexpensive and very friendly. I would definitely recommend him

My small yard was in serious neglect, called Pete's for a price quote. He came out the next day, he was professional and friendly, gave me an excellent price, we set up for the work to be done the following day. He cleared tall weeds that had grown through concrete cracks, trimmed bushes, mulched, removed old neglected grass and replanted new sod. I was extremely happy with the completed work, it was neat, clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Pete and his crew were awesome! They were courteous, well organized, and highly professional. They came in, cleaned the yard up, and hauled away the debris. They were able to complete the job in an efficient manner, with no problems or issues. I will request their services again shortly. I highly recommend this organization. Great Job!

He comes when he says and he’s very inexpensive. He’s very thorough. I found him in the summer. I need to call him back out.

We needed our lawn mowed before we went on vacation. Our lawn mower wasn't working, so we needed to find someone who would do it on short notice. Pete was responsive, did a great job and flexible about getting the payment to him.

Pete has gone missing. Didn't show up and is now not answering calls / texts.

Pete and his crew are fast and efficient and nice folks to work with. He might want to work on the scheduling and call management a little bit to keep things a little more predictable, but as far as service providers go, he was great. He returned my calls promptly and showed up when we agreed. I decided to continue having Pete maintain our lawn for this summer and would recommend you give him a try if you need someone.

On-time, efficient, reasonable. I trust Pete to work unsupervised and finish before we return.

For the city we have an extremely large (approximately 1/2 acre) and extremely complicated yard that includes hills, trees, and several other natural impediments. Pete and his crew mow and trim our yard based on our preferences and always clean up after themselves hauling away all clippings and any additional debris such as fallen sticks they may encounter while working. We're extremely happy with Pete's level of service and professionalism. He takes pride in leaving our yard looking stunning. We highly recommend Pete's One Call for landscaping and yard maintenance services.
