Description of Work: What was a small drywall problem in May has now progressed to replacing my roof. More drywall has been damaged since then. There is no way that I will be able to replace the roof before Sept.13, 2014, when the deal expires. (I'm going to be contacting companies for estimates today.) I sent Juliana at JCabido Remodeling an email on Friday when I was shown the photos of the roof damage. We spoke this morning and we agreed that I would contact Angie's List for a refund. This is no reflection on the company. It is just that the problem is actually MUCH larger than I thought it was in May.

Description of Work: Afraid of being cheated due to mistrust in using prior carpenters which were actually just handymen, I used the Angie's Deal to drywall several small areas in my home, one being the kitchen ceiling. I was so impressed as my husband also that the job was done neat and clean within the 4 hour deal time limit. I was so impressed with that, I was willing to pay the normally charged $120 per hour to do another room, but they had another scheduled job site appointment after my job. Based on the professional and finished work, I trust them to work in our home. The carpenter was so experienced that the job was professionally completed in 4 hours with a finished look- no mess - no fuss. I need more work done in our home and I will be calling on JCABIDO REMODELING. Based upon my experience, I think this company can be trusted to complete the job and give you a fair price as based upon the high quality level of finished work within a prescribed amount of time. Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for $120.00 for 4 hours of drywall repair. He was a disaster. He came and looked at the property. This was an apartment that I needed the work done in. I pointed out to him that there would be future work including replacing a kitchen countertop and other items. He gave an estimate and he sort of cherry picked from what he wanted to do and he did not give an estimate on the drywall work when that was primarily what I needed. I wrote and called and he did not answer or respond to emails. It seemed like he was just looking for the bigger job.

Description of Work: Repaired big cracks in two walls. They explain each step before they did it an let me know if it would cost extra before doing anything.

Description of Work: Repaired ceiling after water leak

Description of Work: Patched up holes in drywall. Did a good job. They were supposed to come by 8 a.m. one morning and when they did not show by 9 I called them. I was informed their truck had broken down on way to my house and had to be towed. They asked if we could reschedule. I was very unhappy as my husband had rearranged his work day so he could be at home when they arrived. Further, I had a painter scheduled for the next day and as a result of their not performing the work as scheduled I had to reschedule with my painter. They were able to come a few days later. I had purchased 4 hours of drywall repair. When two individuals arrived they informed me that the two would work for 2 hours basically equating to one man for four hours. I think I should have been able to determine which option I thought would work best for me. When the 2 hours were up there was one job that was not completed. Instead of offering to stay and complete the work at their regular rate, I was informed I could call their office to schedule a date to complete the remaining drywall work. I would have preferred they stay the extra hour to complete the work as the painting was scheduled for the next day. I felt they were on a very tight schedule and, as a result, could not stay to complete the job. Overall they did a good job, but the inconvenience of having to reschedule and lack of flexibility to complete the job while on site will make me hesitant to utilize their services again.

Description of Work: 4 hours of drywall patch/repair - they were quite thorough, very easy to work with. I recommend them highly - I would work with them again!

Description of Work: There were numerous holes in the basement walls. They worked continuously and finished spackling them. They did a nice job.

Description of Work: I had some plumbing work done which left a hole in my bathroom ceiling. I also had a bad area in my living room ceiling from a bad leak. I paid for 2 hours of service and 2 workers. It was well worth every penny. They came in and went right to work patching both areas. They covered the work areas and cleaned up upon departure. I am well please and would use them in the future.

Description of Work: scraped and repaired large blister and water stain in ceiling; repaired long drywall crack where break occurred

Description of Work: Installed new drywall in bathroom where it had previously been cut out to repair a pipe.

Description of Work: They repaired cracks and drywall imperfections. They did a nice job, explained things, great clean up, very thorough and did final walk through review to make sure I was completely satisfied. I am very happy with their work.
