I reached out to DJ's Plumbing Service to replace a leaking garbage disposal. Mr. Donald was very professional and went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. He performed the work quickly and tested the new equipment to ensure that there were no leaks. I also appreciate that he upgraded the garbage disposal to a much better model than I anticipated. I will definitely call DJ's Plumbing Service for future work.

Two workers showed up on time to complete this project. Also they picked up the toilets for me at Home Depot which was a major plus for me. The workers worked quickly and efficiently and they answered all of my questions. Also I requested that they give me time to mop after taking the old toilets out which they did. They were very patient and did a great job!

Everything went fine. They were professional, came on time and we are very happy. They did a great job!

The guys who came, the owner who came was very respectful, the price was reasonable and they recommended someone who can do the job and it worked out very well.

I used a Angie's List deal to replace a toilet. Donald is flexible in that he allowed me to pick a toilet different from the deal and just paid the difference. He is also very responsible in communication. The plumber is very courteous and pretty efficient in getting the job done. He also explained some of the issues to me. A very nice guy. The only negative comment I have is punctuality. I told Donald to give me a call 30 minutes prior to arrival so I can leave work for the apartment. After he called that the plumber is on the way from Capital Heights, which is less than 30 minutes away, I immediately took time off from office to meet him. But he came two hours later, citing traffic. I wasted a couple of hours of annual leave time.

I called the company on 03/27/2019. The owner DJ answered my call and I explained I needed to fix a toilet that wasnt filling up properly, snake a tub drain and get a new toilet. He gave me price quotes for the services I needed and offered me the Angie List's deal he currently has running for a new toilet installation. We scheduled an appointment for 04/01/2019. He told me he could not be there personally but he would send someone to come between 12-4pm. I got a phone call around 12:30pm from his employee,William, stating he was on his way. William and another employee showed up about 25 mins later and got straight to work. William explained what the issue was with the broken toilet gave me some tips and made the repair. When he finished he joined the other gentleman downstairs who was working on installing the new toilet and snaking the drain. Once they were finished he called me down to inspect the work and to demonstrate that everything was working correctly. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves they didnt leave trash behind. They were pretty quick, it didnt take long to get everything done. Its been a few days and I havent had any issues. I would definitely hire them again.

I am very satisfied with the work. I thought I had a simple leak under the kitchen sink but it turns out I needed a new disposal unit. After diagnosis, the plumber went out to get a new one and installed it. Made sure I looked over and tested his work before leaving. I am planning on updating my powder this spring, will be using their service for that. The new kitchen faucet looks and works great too. Great Job DJ Plumbing.

He contacted me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, which I greatly appreciated, and he performed the services quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use them again. My sole issue was that the cost seemed a little high for the services performed (unclogging a partial clog in one toilet and replacing a part on the other) but overall, excellent service and would recommend.

William was amazing. He was very professional and personable and made my grandmother feel very comfortable. She had been burned by plumbers in the past and now has a renewed faith in good service. I would and will recommend DJ's plumbing to anyone I can.

I must say that I am very satisfied with the work. The price couldn't be beat and the workers were on time and did a fantastic job on installing the toilet. I will use Dj's Plumbing services again if I ever have another plumbing need. Great job !!!

Great..... he was right at estimated cost given prior to work start..... he had to do extra with one sink because of poor work done by another plumber.... I would hire again for sure... he was neat... wore shoe covers to protect floors from getting soiled, I appreciated that and his easy going and straightforward manner.!

My toliet was clogged and I called DJ's. Donald showed up on time and unclogged my toliet in a couple of minutes. The price was fair and I will definitely call him again.

We had an emergency on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Water was leaking from the master bathroom shower on the second floor and was flooding into our kitchen. To make matters worse, we had a house full of guests in town celebrating the holiday. We contacted DJ's plumbing service and he arrived very quickly. He provided prompt professional services and was able to pinpoint the problem and most importantly stop the water from flowing. Turns out, it was a bad shower diverter from the manufacturer. He was able to secure a new part at no additional cost and returned for the installation. He was thorough and followed up with us in the days following the install to ensure that we had no additional issues. When we did mention something, he returned the next day to complete. He's also connecting us with carpenters to repair the drywall damage that occurred as a result of the leak. No one wants to have one of these dreaded plumbing emergencies, but it's always good to have someone you can rely on to resolve the issue quickly. We were very happy with his services and would gladly recommend him to family, friends and strangers alike.

DJ's plumbing was excellent. He came out for the quote and was well under quotes that I had gotten from other plumbing services. We set a time for the work the following week and he showed up exactly on time and got all the required work done to my satisfaction. Donald did a great job! I really appreciated that Donald was fair with pricing and made sure we took the most cost affective approach to the project. I will definitely use Donald for future plumbing jobs.

Nickel and dimed me about disposing of the old heater and installing the new one. Ended up not accepting the job. Gave me a hard time about picking up the new hot water heater from Home Depot!

DJ Plumbing helped get a replacement diverter valve assembly from the manufacturer...and did a great job installing it. Quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Donald and his team.

I contacted DJ on a Friday morning when the sewer backed up into my basement for the third time - while we had guests staying in the basement. He was booked for the day but said he could come out late - maybe by 6 but probably later. He arrived at about 7 after notifying me he would be later than 6. He also let me know when he was on his way. He and his helper got right to work putting a camera down the sewer line. They could see some hardened substance on the pipe walls at about 30 feet but shortly after that water blocked the view. They snaked the pipe and retrieved roots. We had had it snaked by a plumber about 1.5 months prior and no roots were detected. We snaked it ourselves a second time and also had not managed to find the culprits (o.k., so we are lucky we managed the operation at all). A second look with the camera showed exactly where the roots were coming into the pipe. We had feared a collapsed pipe so roots were good new for us. DJ then gave me explicit instructions on what to do to keep them from coming back. They were professional, fast, clean, and very informative. I liked that he did not say that I immediately needed super-expensive work, rather he told me what I needed to do to keep an eye on things to see if the deposit on the pipes and another piece of debris he found were going to cause problems. Only if they do cause problems in the future do I need to take further action. The price was steep (to me) but it was about the same as the other plumber we had out 2 months ago and that plumber did not find the problem and did not check the line with a camera. I will hire them back if I need similar work in the future.

Service was excellent. He came out the same day I called and gave me options in terms of repairs. He took a picture of the fixture and said he would check with the supplier for parts. He called once the parts came in and installed the parts as agreed in terms of parts and labor. He had knowledge of old claw tubs in older homes. I had gotten previous estimates that did not match his. He was fair but most importantly honest. I will recommend him to everybody I know and will hire him in the future for other plumbing needs.

Five minutes and it was fixed. A whooping $150.00

He cleaned sump pump and made sure it was working properly.
