BUDGET BLINDS

A design consultant visited my home with fabric/materials to look at. I made a selection. The shades took a couple of weeks and were installed by a Budget Blinds installer. There was an installation fee ($65). The blinds looked fine. Later I discovered that one of the blinds did not hit the bottom of the window it fell short. I called the design consultant who came back to assess the problem. She had to then return and talk with the manufacturer to determine if she made a mistake in measuring or HD made a mistake or I had strange windows. The blind was only 1/2 inch short but it made the blind stick out letting light in and was not acceptable to me. She returned to measure again and took the blind to send back to HD. In a couple of weeks the new or fixed blind came back and was reinstalled. They are simply gorgeous and quite extravagant but do wonders for the rooms. At the time I got a 30% discount which was very nice.

The whole experience was so good that both my neighbor and the Condo Association bought blinds from Amy. The building looks great!

We used Budget Blinds for window treatments before and the experience was positive in all aspects. This time, I had a concern about the price estimate, which I shared w/the owner, and after much bickering, she did lower the price. They had overcharged us, and if I hadn't said something, that would've been what we paid: Too much. The blinds had a lining in the back which wasn't what the window treatment consultant had described to us at all, and since these are pretty expensive woven shades, I wasn't too happy. The response from the owner wasn't what I expected. She kept telling me that we had signed a contract, despite my making it clear to her that I would never have signed if I'd know that the shade backing would look like it does. So things were great when there weren't any problems, but when there was one, she really disappointed us. We've decided not to deal w/them about our problem and wouldn't use this particular Budget Blind franchise again.

Amy gave us the quote and wrote up the order and about 2 1/2 weeks later Steve installed the two blinds. Steve was prompt and did the job quickly. He was very professional. Very happy with the treatment from start to finish with Budget Blinds.
