+ 3 moreI wish I could give a grade higher than "A" because Robert and his team deserve it. Initial contact was easy and Robert was here the next day to diagnose the problem. He explained it in a way I could easily understand. He told me exactly how we would proceed. Workers showed up at my house when Robert said they would without fail. He contacted me when they were on their way and followed up when they were done to make sure I was satisfied with their work. All of the contractors who showed up clearly explained what they would be doing and then produced quality work. Bottom line. Third Generation is the kind of contractor you hope you're hiring when you need work done in your home. Robert is great to work with. My only regret is I'm moving to Michigan and I don't think he'll make the 10 hour drive to help me when I need work done there so I won't have the chance to rehire him.
Description of Work: Originally thought we had a leak in an upstairs bathroom but Robert quickly diagnosed it as water coming in from outside wall. His sub-contractors quickly fixed the leak, recaulked the shower just in case, repaired/repainted inside ceiling and window. Since we were in the process of selling the house Robert agreed to take on those repairs as well. Repaired some poorly installed original dry wall in basement, settling cracks on concrete driveway, and issue with garage door opener.

+ -1 moreInstallation went very well. Oct 25: Rob Figliozzi came out to evaluate the work needed and brought two workers to install the sink faucet and drain/trap. He determined what parts were needed for the tub/shower and ordered the parts. He texted me when the parts came in 3 days later and Chris Hanes came out to install. Chris is a very pleasant young man and did a great job with the installation, and Rob was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

+ 0 moreRobert saved me a ton of money by informing me that I did NOT need to completely replace our shower handle units and in turn redo a bathtub. He found a simple solution to a problem I had previously been told need intensive work. He was readily available to come and give an estimate for the work. He was pleasant, punctual, informative, and followed through on the work discussed. He even agreed to recaulk our shower that I had tried to do myself. I found him to be honest and efficient at solving problems and giving advice on future work. I will utilize his services from now on all home improvement fronts before seeking out others.

+ -1 moreI called on a Sunday in a panic as I was supposed to be on my way to Philly with my 2 year old to spend time with my critically ill in-law. Spoke to Robert who reassured me and told me he was familiar with my neighborhood and had actually worked on the house years ago for the previous owner. He right away knew what the issue was. He came to the house and assessed the issue keeping me up to date. He was able to get a backhoe to my house on short notice and installed a new line before I came back home a few days later. They had to dig a trench from the front of my house to the street, snake out and clear the line and install brand new pipe with clean outs. Highly recommend this company. They were professional and kept me up to date throughout the project. They were kind and understanding. Will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Instructed me to give him a callback in the evening when I get home so he can hear what I described and confirmed his belief on what the problem was with the noise in the pipes. Called Robert back after conducting some searches online when I got home that evening. Robert heard the noise I was having and gave me a solution right over the phone for no charge. The solution was more detail than the answers I received online. Who said nothing is free anymore. Robert is a true stand up guy and a ultimate professional. Any issue that I have he will be the only one I will call.

+ 9 morePainted entire bathroom, put up linen closet wood shelves, put up 2 mirrors, 2 light fixtures, toilet paper holder, hand towel holder, regular size towel holder, 2 robe hooks, had to make a hole for jacuzzi tub to get to motor if we ever have a problem, put in a glass shelf above the tile around the tub, put handicap rail up, put in shower seat, put fixture in shower handle and shower head, tiled entire shower, above the tub, had to move the light switch like half an inch up, put on light switch covers, put up new blinds I had, painted door and put on new door knob.. I think I got it all lol.. It had a lot of little things that needed done, then the tiling, the floor tile was already done except the step to the tub which was a small step. All my sink & tub fixtures were already done. Everything that was put in I already had that we picked out years ago. I wish I could attach photos it's amazing!
Description of Work: We live in a cape cod, my husbands friend works in building houses, well he started it, made it bigger, tiled the floor, we got Home Depot to put in granite, then we didn't hear from my husbands friend, so it was 4 yrs. leaving my bathroom this way, so we called Rob who did or upstairs bathroom about 9 yrs ago. The whole family and workers are very nice, they did an incredible job! They finished tiling the shower, they tiled above our jacuzzi tub, painted entire bathroom, put up all of my fixtures and put in my shower seat that went in the shower tile. Mybathroom looks amazing! I always keep walking in there lol cause our house needs to be all done! We had a flood so we have to do room by room a little at a time. So when I walk in my bathroom I feel like I'm in a new model home bathroom from a big house lol.. Thank you Rob!!! We love it! & everyone else that has seen it loves it!!! Third generation plumbing arrived to my house within 30 minutes of my call. They also provided feedback on some other potential issues the home might have. The cost for the service was decent for an emergency call. We plan on doing business with this company in the future. Great service!

Robert is honest, hard working, appears to be skilled, and fully understands his trade. He stands by what he does, and understands the artistic side of home improvement in addition to the technical side. I would and will work with him in the future.
Description of Work: Robert came to my home to look at the finished product of a very poor contractor who had previously done work for me. To be honest, he came to see if he could fix the myriad of things that had gone wrong. While in the end, there was little he felt comfortable doing other than take the shower build back to studs, he spent a great deal of his time walking me through the issues, suggested many things to think about, and finally, educating me on the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and its formal complaint system. + -1 moreTheir work is excellent. There is no way that you could be displeased with the finished product. I called them 8 days before Christmas and they came out right away to begin the work. They finished the job on December 23rd. Their workers are prompt, courteous, trustworthy, and all around great workers. They are reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. Excellent craftsmanship and personal attention are always given. They are respectful while in your home and clean up after themselves. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home and leaving them at my home while they were working.

+ -1 moreThey are great. When I call for an emergency, they come out immediately. I have not compared prices against other companies, but I know I can trust them in an emergency situation. Having found someone who is responsible and responsive, I do not plan to change to another company.
Description of Work: They dug outside and installed an open vent when I was in danger of a sewage backup, they replaced the inside of a toilet, repaired a burst hot water pipe, and have done general plumbing maintenance on my older home.
