It was a great experience across a two-day job. He was very professional during the process. He had to install a new opening in my ceiling to install the attic ladder. So he came the day before the start day to measure. He then arrived early on the 29th to begin work. He arrived with all the necessary materials. At the end of the job he installed trim, painted, and installed an additional attic light that I did not know would be needed before starting the job. He also offered recommendations for attic insulation (but not trying to upsell me). I eventually did the attic insulation myself based on my conversation with him. He is the ideal general contractor for any and all work in the home. He was very honest and straightforward with pricing which I believe is rare.

Difficult to schedule but ultimately did a good job. Respectable individual.

He was very professional, punctual, and organized. We had to two appointments, one to discuss what work was being performed and what if any additional cost would be and the second to perform the actual work. After the work was completed you could definitely notice a change with the new stripping in place. It was a very pain free process and I will definitely be using him again.

It was okay. The person promised to come and do other work for me but he did not do it. He spotted that one hinge was damaged and almost broken but I had to purchase another offer from another company to have that fixed. I wanted to give him more work on a storm door but he never showed up again.

Mr. Nesbitt arrived in the time range he said he would arrive. He was kind, straight to the point, and got right to work. The job that I hired him to do ended up being a bit more work than either of us anticipated, as he needed to replace the door molding. This was no problem for him. He was able to adapt on the fly, and he needed to come back the next day so that he had sufficient time to get the supplies and do the job. He came by the next day, replaced the molding around the door, and didn't upcharge me for the extra work he needed to do. He would have been well within his rights to charge me more, but he honored his initial estimate. I've already hired him for another job, and will continue to use him as other things arise. Unrelated, but important: he's a guitarist! We chatted about our common love for the instrument, and maybe I'll catch a show of his in the area someday.

The provider never respond, never called, and did not contact me.

After purchasing a deal for a toilet install and choosing dates for installation, I was never contacted. I also submitted a message via the vendor's website and sent the vendor a direct email that was never responded to. The service request was never coordinated, acknowledged or performed.

It went very well and we have been very pleased with the results. Mr. Nesbitt was very professional, very neat, and got the job done, plus did more work on the door to make it weather tight.

I suggested three dates for the work but never heard from the company so the work was never performed.

Bobby Nesbit is the proprietor of New Life. The job went smoothly. The reason I gave a B for punctuality is Mr. Nesbitt had to text me he would be arriving later then he had scheduled. It was of no consequence to me that day, but other customers may have a tighter schedule. The delay was only about 15 minutes. He brought all the required tools to do the job and did it with no delay. The original toilet had sprung a leak that had rotted the wooden floor under the toilet. Mr. Nesbit was able to remove the rot and use a floor leveling compound to repair the area of damaged wood. The toilet covered the patch, so the room's floor is both good-looking and sound. Mr. Nesbitt was professional and fast. The price was fair. I provided the replacement toilet, so I was able to shop for a better price and model than other jobbers that provided the toilet as a part of the service. Outstanding job. I would recommend New Life for any handyman type job. The price below was only for his service. It covered the additional for the floor repair. The cost of the new toilet was not included.

Bobby was very responsive, had no trouble when I added things to the work load on short notice. He definitely went above/beyond the call with the repairs, spotting several issues that I was unaware of with the deck and the back door as well as working closely with me and the HOA in my community to ensure that we got the paint colors correct.

Bobby could not have been nicer or more professional. He was able to schedule us quickly, called to confirm and showed up within his window. He replaced our toilet and was patient with us as we had to run to the store when we realized the toilet we had purchased had a crack. Bobby was meticulous and left the area very clean. Would highly recommend!

This review is solely based on the customer service aspect of my experience, and not the service delivered. I unfortunately had to cancel the service due to the vendor's inability to schedule and commit to an appointment. After providing three dates of availability when purchasing the deal, the vendor did not contact me to schedule an appointment. I initiated contact, and was able to reach the vendor on my third call. From there, we scheduled a couple of appointments, both of which were canceled. Due to the inconvenience, I canceled the deal. I strongly recommend that this vendor invests more effort into the customer service aspect of their business.

GREAT JOB!!! We purchased a new toilet online and wasn't expecting delivery until Monday. I hadn't lined up a plumber; I wanted to make sure all of the pieces arrived before I hired a plumber to come out and install it. As it was delivered on Friday - I hadn't lined up anybody and was completely caught off guard. I immediately called the plumber we had dealt with in the past and had received very good service from him. There was no answer, so, I got on Angie's List to see if I could find a good deal for a new toilet installation and I did - NEW LIFE HANDYMAN SERVICES. I wasn't sure about this, as I thought I needed a plumber. Well, I was set straight, so I purchased this well worth-it deal and called them immediately. I spoke to a very friendly and polite gentleman, Mr Nesbitt and explained my dilemma. He offered me service right away and arrived within the hour, since he was in the area, and after seeing where he would be working, he got right to work. He was very methodical in his approach, being careful and thorough-every step of the way. His procedure was very precise and he got the job done in no time. He cleaned up everything-didn't leave any mess for me to clean up! It was nice and very interesting to learn of all the qualifications he possesses, as I found a "handyman" who cares about quality work at a fair and reasonable price! This was a very + experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use NEW LIFE HANDYMAN SERVICES for any new projects🌝

He was very courteous. He saved me some extra money by just recycling one of my existing locks. He was also very responsive.

Bobby Nesbitt visited and assessed the situation. He quoted a price and set the date for the door installation. One the scheduled date, he arrived on time with the new door and prepared to install it. After removing the existing door, he found that the concrete stoop need to be leveled by adding concrete. This was not unexpected but did raise the total cost slightly. As predicted the repairs took 1 and a half days. The first day to replace the door and the second half day to paint the door and jamb. The work was performed as scheduled and the quality was excellent. It is a pleasure to now have a functioning door that keeps out drafts and latches easily. I am completely satisfied with the work and will use Mr Nesbitt for our next repairs.
