Called the company to give me an estimate for roof and drywall damage caused by the storm. Receptionist was extremely nice on the phone with a very reassuring tone which is what I needed at the time. The owner of the company, Danny, I believe was his name, came over to inspect the damage and to give the estimate. He was very pleasant and again made me feel at ease. Unfortunately that's where the pleasantness of the experience ended. Danny came over on Nov 1st. When I asked when I could expect the work to begin, he said the following week. Well work did not actually begin until 2 weeks later. All the while, I had a hole in my roof and drywall with a bucket to collect the dripping water and wet drywall. In addition, what I found most frustrating during this ordeal was the lack of communication during the waiting period. I was the one calling repeatedly to find out when the work would begin. I was originally told that the roof and drywall would be done on two separate days. But when the men showed up to begin the work, he said it would all be done that day - but wait - that changed back to two days at the end of day one. Confusing, right? I thought so too. My pet peeve when using contractors is the clean up. To me, the sign of a great contractor is when they come in, work and leave with no sign that they were ever there (with the exception of the work that they performed) When the roof work was completed at the end of day one, I was disappointed to see several items that should have been thrown away, left scattered on my back deck and on the grass around the house. Sloppy. I mentioned this to the receptionist when we spoke to schedule the day two work. She apologized and assured me that the workers would do the clean up when they returned to do the inside drywall work. While the drywall work was done (more about that later) the trash was not cleaned up. Lastly... about the drywall work. The work was done well but my issue with here is that the workers showed up ill prepared. I had to provide both and extension cord, and a vacuum cleaner. The latter of which really upset me as our vacuum cleaner is a $300 Dyson - not my first choice to suck up drywall dust and particles. The Dyson was used, filled with drywall which was then left in the cannister for me to clean up when I returned home that evening. (My elderly mother was the only one home at the time) All of this I would have been happy to share with the company, had they bothered to call me to see if I was satisfied with the work before charging my credit card for the balance of the money owed. All in all, while this is by far not the worst contractor that I've used, there is nothing special about them either. While I understand that it was a crazy busy time for them with all the storm damage around the area, they could have handled matters so much better than they did. With so much competition out there, its the little things like proper communication, follow up and preparedness that sets one contractor a notch above the rest in my book. That did not happen here.

My main problem is with their business practice. I originally spoke about scheduling with Ben during the estimation visit. He never spoke about a down payment being required for scheduling...when I asked about repair dates, he immediately called the office to find out when I could be scheduled. When they stated they couldn't tell him at that time, Ben said he would give them a few days then call me back Mon to see what they were able to come up with. I told him I had another company returning Mon but I liked Integrity so I wouldn't do anything until I heard back from Ben on Mon. I said some form of this statement a few times during the end of the visit and again as he was walking out the door...I said, "I look forward to hearing back from you on Monday." The company stated it was a miscommunication but I believe I fell through the cracks and they wouldn't admit it. Anyway, when I called on Thursday, they stated they could POSSIBLY get to me in 7-10 days (the next Friday or Monday)...it would all depend on a number of factors not in their control. I was irritated because the rep seemed to start to use the fact I didn't put down a deposit as a reason for not being scheduled. I told her that Ben didn't say a deposit was needed for scheduling. I said, okay, even with the comms problem I'm prepared to put down $500 but since you can't give me a hard date, at what point do I get my deposit back? I mean say after 14 days with no schedule in sight, do I have the option to get a refund and find another company? Because I travel a great deal for work and interior work was required due to the leak, I needed to be able to line up drywall folks fairly quickly....huge hole in my ceiling so my heat is escaping. The company said sorry, not what we do. You have three days after putting down the deposit to get it back but that's it. Now a company that's advertising on Integrity and the Christian word should not only look out for themselves but also the customer in a fair agreement. It was actually kind of funny because after I said this, the rep who was giving the timeframe for repair says that I wasn't listening to her, she said they MAY be able to get to me on the 16th or 19th but then quickly gave these caveats so I couldn't hold her to that estimation. To be clear, I totally understand the roofing companies are busy due to the storm and they are scheduling based on a number of factors with one being revenue, my job is relatively small. My roof is run of the mill asphalt black shingles so no special ordering was required. Just like they have to look out for themselves, the customer should have a recourse if their needs aren't met in a reasonable amount of time. I shouldn't be held hostage to some undermined about of time when I have a raining ceiling and travel for work. And just admit that my case was not handled very well instead of offering excuses UPDATE WOOOWWWW! Parts of your response were completely false. I don't know if you misread the above, your people lied to you or if you simply decided to alter reality. But ultimately because you didn't take the time to call me to get an understanding of the situation I had to change my rating to F. And in order to make sure the Angie's List customers are clear as to what happened, let me respond to the below by reiterating and expanding on what I already wrote. 1. At no time did Ben mention ANYTHING about needing a written agreement and/or downpayment before scheduling. One would think he would say this before or after he called the office. The first I heard I about a downpayment was Thursday when I called your company. 2. Ben stated he would call me on Monday. I waited then called the company on Thursday. 3. At no time did I DEMAND a start OR end date. That is simply false. 4. The bulk of the issue I had with your company: I asked your rep point blank...at what point do I get my $500 deposit back in order to find another roofer if you can't start in a reasonable amount of time...I threw out 14 days. Your customer rep said oh, well I'll need to check with Ben and call you back. She called me within 15 mins to say nope, that's not something we do. I have 3 days to get back the deposit and that's it. I responded with, that's ridiculous! So what you're telling me is that I'm going to be held hostage until you all decide to work my job. For a Christian organization, heck any organization, that is an unfair business practice. So folks in conclusion...I firmly stand behind my original assessment. Their business practices are suspect which could possibly be because the reps aren't sure of their procedures and when they make mistakes, they don't own up to it. But at the end of the day, watch out for this company. The name of the company is "Integrity" but they seem to not know the meaning of the word...especially in light of their false filled response. The GREAT thing....Integrity was wrong about what was going on with my roof. Another company actually lifted the shingles and found the water entry point. The area needed to be repaired is significantly less than what Integrity estimated. And the new company will provide a written warranty for the repair. There's a saying in the neighborhood..."God doesn't like ugly."

We are sorry you feel this way. When we do a full inspection and evaluation for a roof repair, we get in the attic and the exterior of the roof and give you a written proposal for the work needed to solve the problem for you. The agreement is specific with investment monies due upon signature approval and along with an initial investment. These are the MHIC guidelines. You wanted to meet with additional contractors a few days later and no agreement was executed the day we met with you. As we did not have your approval or initial investment, no work could be planned. We plan our workload from the storm damage as the work comes in - first come, first served. We cannot guaranty a specific date to do the work as the weather will impact the days we can work. This was explained to you but was you found this not acceptable as you wanted a specific date for the repair - we still did not have any signed approval from you for the work. Without this and the written investment schedule - an initial investment and the final monies due upon completion, we cannot plan to do the work. Your demands for the work to be completed with a guaranteed completion date as another contractor offered could not be met due to the varying weather. We follow the MHIC guidelines regarding payment for any work we do. There will always be an initial investment to schedule any work. If the work is not started and a customer wants their initial investment back, the monies are returned. We do not keep monies from any customer we don't do the work for whether this is after any 3-day recession period. We don't make money by not doing the work. Our business practices are sound and we strive to meet every expectation. While we are not perfect, we do not make excuses or blame people - we try to do our best in every situation. Without a clear definition of the approved scope of work and your approval, we could not meet your expectations and demands. I am sure you will find another company who fits what you need to do the work. Danny Peterson INTEGRITY

We called and easily scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Mr. Ben Curtis arrived on time and he couldn't have been nicer or more patient. We asked a lot of questions about the shingles and rakes though we had received previous estimates to cap the rakes. Not only did Ben do an inspection of the roof, he explained in detail the work that would need to be done for both the shingles and the caps. He let us know that the inspection of the roof indicated we had a little more time before replacing it. Ben answered additional questions we had about siding and gutters. Frankly, we took up a lot of his time and we learned a lot including the fact that we were not calling the rakes by the right name. The estimate Ben provided was reasonable and, in fact, the cost to cap the rakes slightly lower than two other estimates we had received. We agreed on the day Ben provided us with the estimate to have Integrity repair the shingles and cap the rakes. Ben also sent us a thank you note. The work was scheduled within a week and our initial work date adjusted (by us) when the crew was going to arrive a little later than initially expected. The work was completed within the amount of time estimated. The team was polite and friendly. Our overall experience indicates that this is a company that has employees who like where they work, that want to do good work for the customers and has an owner that takes pride in both.
Description of Work: We could see that we had loose and missing shingles on the roof from recent storms. We also knew that we had long needed to replace wood on one rake and that rakes on both sides of the house needed to be capped. We were concerned about costs knowing the roof would likely need to replaced within a year or two.

A representative (Jonathan) came to my home to give an estimate on having my roof repaired. After the inspection of my roof it was determined that the roof was in good condition and it was recommended that i simply have the missing tiles replaced. We looked at replacement tiles from his samples. He did not have one that was an exact match but we choose was that appeared to be a fairly close match to my existing tiles. I expressed concern about how the new tiles would look compared to my existing tiles. Jonathan told me he had another sample book from another company that Integrity does not use any longer but he still has access to. He assured me he would locate the book and find a tile that would be a better match. I never heard from Jonathan again and the roof was repaired with the tiles that was not a very good match. The roof looks horrible. I contacted the company to inform that I was not happy with the repair job. Danny came to my home and basically told my husband and I that there was nothing he could do to help us. I told him what happened with Jonathan who gave us the estimate and said he was looking for a better match. I asked to speak with Jonathan (the rep who came to my home) and he replied "no, because he is no longer employed with the company". Today, my roof still looks terrible. Other roofing companies are leaving fliers in my mailbox to repair my roof due to missing tiles although there are no missing tiles it's just due to the poor job of Integrity. Also, they would not honor the "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" in which they advertise and is clearly documented on the back of the estimate.
Description of Work: I used Integrity to repair/replace roof tiles that had been blown off during a recent storm.

You have an 18 year old roof and putting new shingles next to 18 year old shingles will never match. This is always discussed when we are at your property and work with you to choose the color that will closely match. We always caution that it will look like a patch with old and new. The final decision of color choice is by you and we then bring that color and do the repair. You are in need of a new roof and many of your neighbors have had theirs done already. If you choose to do the roof replacement with INTEGRITY, we credit you the full amount of the repair so there is not disadvantage. I am sorry that discussions with you will not satisfy your feelings. This responsive company chose an appropriate name for themselves We had some issues with our 10-year-old roof; nothing urgent, but we knew we?d have to take care of it at some point soon. Four companies in total came out to look at it. The first three looked at the roof from the street, said, ?Yep, you need to replace the roof,? and then proceeded with the merits of their shingles. Any of them, I?m sure, would have done an adequate job. The fourth company, Integrity Home Pro, approached it a bit differently. Our salesman Sean Meyer?s first comment was, ?I?m not sure you need a whole new roof. I want to take a look first.? Sean climbed up with my husband, took photos of the problem areas, and then tallied the numbers. He gave us two prices: one to simply cover the most necessary repairs; and another to put on a whole new roof. I appreciated his willingness and ability to consider the issue from OUR budget perspective. We have foam insulation sprayed against our attic ceiling, and I needed to choose a company that I could trust not to damage the insulation. As I researched Integrity Home Pro and talked to them further, I felt more and more comfortable with their ability to do what we wanted at a reasonable price. We chose to go with an entirely new roof, and then expanded the roofing project to include a front portico and new door. The next step was choosing the materials. Integrity Home Pro owner Danny Peterson made sure I had all the information I needed at every step. After talking with me and hearing what I wanted (show-stopper door with decorative sidelights), he recommended we take a serious look at the ProVia doors. They even arranged for the ProVia salesman to come out and meet with us. We chose a Signet fiberglass door. It is expensive ? be prepared for your jaw to drop ? but we are thrilled with it. It is gorgeous, and the materials are top-notch. Integrity Home Pro?s prices were pretty much in line with ? or a little lower than ? other reputable companies I talked to. In one area though, our porch slab rebuild, they were higher. I went to another companythat does business in our area, and they were able to do the slab work for much less. I talked to Danny about it. He told me he couldn?t bring his price down, but he had researched the company I?d talked to, and he felt they?d do a good job. He felt I should go ahead and have them do the slab. I appreciated his checking out the other company and giving us the green light. It was yet another example of their looking out for OUR interests. I wasn?t at home when the contractors were here, but three of my neighbors were, and they all commented on how courteous and friendly the workers were. They cleaned up the site daily. There were no inexplicable absences; they were here every workday till the project was completed. I have the phone numbers and emails of everyone I?m working with at Integrity Home Pro. Danny wakes up before 4 am and is writing his emails before I?m even awake. I really feel like I?m working with a company that sees me as a person and not just a source of revenue. Our 1960 brick rambler now looks like a new home from the outside. The roof has Timberline UHD tiles, and the portico?s clean lines accentuate the toffee-colored door and sidelights. And now we?re on to the next project: I?ve asked Integrity Home Pro to remodel the hall bathroom.
Description of Work: Replaced old roof with Timberline UHD shingles. Designed and constructed a portico for the front door. Knocked out the existing front door and panel, and replaced it with a Provia fiberglass door with sidelights. Moved some electrical around to accomodate the new door placement.

Apologies in advance for my long review, but if you're about to spend a lot of money on home repairs, you may want to have as much information as possible. We used Integrity this summer and I can?t come up with a single negative thing to say about them. Here?s our story: A combination of storms, wear & tear, and a former owner?s inadequate repairs led to a gaping hole in our roof this past July. We called several companies for estimates. Some barely gave our home a glance before giving us an estimate. Some were wholly unprofessional when interacting with us. Some didn?t even bother to show up but were happy to quote us a price to fix a problem they had not even assessed. But Integrity made a great first impression and that?s what clinched it for us. Integrity provides a lot of extra touches which set them apart from other contractors ? they understand that they are a business as well as a contractor. They really seem to care about their customers as people, and not just a revenue stream. Days before the estimate appointment, Integrity sent us email confirmation with pictures of the person who would be coming to our home. Being a woman, I really appreciated that, and was reassured that I knew exactly who would be at my door. No other company went to those lengths, and for me, this gave Integrity BIG points. Their representative, Ben, was 100% professional and courteous. He was professionally dressed, and showed great respect towards us and our home. It was clear that he was very knowledgeable and ensured that we knew about the company and its outstanding track record. Ben assured us that Integrity was properly licensed, bonded, and more than adequately insured. He spent significant time to check everything from cosmetic damage to structural integrity. He brought his own tools & materials (and deftly climbed onto our roof), taking pictures to instantly give us a visual representation of what was going on. He explained everything clearly to us. He didn't try to bamboozle us or stun us with technical jargon we didn't understand. Again, very appreciated. An important point - Ben didn?t try to up-sell us with things we didn't need, though he did make sound recommendations that we chose to take him up on. I can?t say that about our other estimates ? most of those contractors spent more time suggesting unnecessary cosmetic improvements than trying to help us simply become whole. Ben developed a conservative project plan which accommodated our budget and got us to where we needed to be, knowing that this was the right way to earn future business. What impressed us most of all was the honesty displayed throughout the estimate experience. There was no glossing over the situation or pressuring us to commit before we were ready. Ben even encouraged us to shop around in order to make an educated decision. We felt completely comfortable and Ben put our minds at ease that we were placing our home in capable hands. The estimate cost Ben gave us was in line with every other estimate we received, and we were convinced that the job would be done right and with more care than what the other contractors would have done. The process was pretty painless, from the estimate to the financing. And the professionalism didn?t end once the estimate process was over. Once we secured financing (that took about 10 minutes, and Ben facilitated this as well) and signed a contract, Integrity contacted us to set up the work date. The work crews showed up about 2 weeks later. Sounds like a long time, but please know that there were storms in between (you can't put on a roof in the rain!!) and was put in the queue of jobs to do. On the date of work, they were on time (truthfully, they were about 15 minutes early), professional, friendly and most importantly to me, were respectful regarding noise and how it would affect me and my neighbors. They worked efficiently and the whole job was done in a matter of a few hours. When they had to speak with one another, they did so on the ground, not yelling across the roof. I work from home, and the only thing I heard ? even with a big ol? hole in the roof ? was the normal sound of work being done. When they completed the job, they cleaned behind them, and you couldn?t even tell they had been there! Not an errant shingle or nail to be found. That was really impressive! Integrity followed up to ensure that everything was up to snuff, and even sent us an email and thank you gift afterwards! Integrity was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish, and we have Angie?s List to thank for finding them. It is now about 6 weeks later and I am happy to say that our roof repair has held up beautifully through several summer storms. The whole package has been awesome: their estimators are professional, office staff is pleasant and helpful, their crews are efficient and respectful, and their follow-through is complete. Because of this stellar level of awesome service, we?ve been recommending them to everyone we know, and definitely plan on using Integrity for all our future repairs. They claim they operate their business on a higher standard than other businesses ? and they have proven it to us! No one wants to replace a roof or have expensive home repairs. It adds insult to injury if the company makes things harder on you. We were so happy with this company, and they made a crummy situation so much better. If you?re looking for a great company who values their customers, and one that does their job well, look no further than Integrity. If your experience is anything like ours, you won?t regret it! If you're still with me, thanks!!
Description of Work: Fixed a hole in our roof, and re-roofed the addition to our home. They had to actually replace a section of our roof and then reshingle everything, bringing our house back to watertight standards. (We'll be calling them for future repairs, to be sure!!!)

Ben Curtis, who provided the bid, was very thorough in assessing the work that needed to be done, and listened carefully to our needs. We were negotiating the sale of the house, and the buyers, after their inspector had provided his own report and recommendations to them, had made an itemized list of repairs they wanted us to do. We showed him the actual contractual terms we had agreed to. We did not want to cut corners and do a shoddy job, wanting to make the repairs the way we would have wanted them done had we been the buyers, and he was 100% on board with that, and did not try to up-sell us on more extensive work than was agreed to, but also made recommendations on higher quality solutions that would give the buyers a better value, leaving the decision to us. The company's office staff was very courteous, and took care to confirm the appointments. They even sent me a photo of Ben so I would recognize him when he showed up. The crew that came by was efficient, polite, and careful. They were a pleasure to work with, and took the time to explain what they were doing, particularly where the work plan was adjusted to meet actual conditions (at no extra cost). I have rated the price as N/A because I only got one bid, so I could not compare. The two other roofers who came out never go back to us with proposals, and we were under a time crunch. Integrity was very sensitive to our time constraints, fit us in under ver short notice, and even scheduled us a day earlier than absolutely necessary just to build in a buffer in the event of inclement weather. They performed the work on time, and at the agreed price. (And have yet to send me the final bill! That's nice!)
Description of Work: Repaired section of damaged asphalt shingles, including replacement of about 64 ft2 of decking. Replaced small portion of rotted fascia. Replaced all vent boots and replaced roof vent cover. Work included new membrane under all new shingles and boots.

Danny spent 3 hours with me during the estimate; answering all of my questions (I had plenty of questions.) He went into the attic to check out the roof deck and to make sure that the ridge vent would provide the ventilation needed. Danny was competitive with his estimate, and I choose Integrity because they had done three jobs for me before and I know from first hand experience that Danny stands behind the work of his crews. Raul and his crew started working a 7 am and continued during the day ending about 6 pm. I was really impressed with the quality of the work, and the performance of the crew. I took quite a lot of pictures to document the work and the crew seemed unfazed with me snapping away. I am always impressed with the clean up by Integrity's crew. Once the roofing was done, Raul turned his attention to the leak in the siding that reoccurred after a repair had been done by Integrity. In order to match the siding, Raul removed siding from the addition( the new siding was installed here) and used it to repair the leak on the main house. We are waiting for more rain to see if this will stop the leak. And if it does not, I know Danny will do what is needed to correct the problem.
Description of Work: Remove and replace shingles on main house and garage. Install new drip cap, vent boots, chimney flashing, and paint vents and other protrusions from the roof to match the roof. Install diverter over the front door. Follow up on a leak in the siding on the chimney side of the house that reoccurred after a repair by Integrity in August.

My home needed additional attic insulation. Also all of my soffit vents were blocked with plywood which was causing my attic area to be extremely hot in the summer and would cause the living space to be much warmer than normal in the summer. After requesting an estimate from the main number, I met with a sales rep who reviewed the condition of my home for attic insulation work and the removal of this plywood blocking the soffit vents. He was a bit late and apologized. I told him I got their info from Angie's List kind of hinting that I will be doing a review at the end of service. I explained to the sales rep all the areas that were needed by walking him around inside my home. After he did his own walk around the house on the outside, he came back in and wrote me out a quote on a sheet of paper of $2100. We talked about the scope covered for the $2100 to be clear we were on the same page. He said he would send a contract out within the next day or so for me to sign so he could put me on the schedule. After a few days I called my sales rep leaving a message reminding him that I haven't seen the contract. No return call. I called again the next couple of days or so with no return call. I call the main office number to try to get an answer. A very nice lady answered the phone and indicated a bit of suprise that my salesperson had not contacted me. She said she would try to contact him and get me the contract. She sent over the contract within the next day or so, but the price was higher than the quote I was given on the day of the visit. I tried to call my original salesman back to get clarification on the pricing change. After a couple of tries he finally picks up and apologizes for all the missed calls and indicates that his cell phone had been acting screwy. After I repeated the scope discussion on his first visit, he mentioned that he did not include in his original scope a certain area of the home being insulated. I reminded him of our walk-thru of the interior of my home and the room in question. His response was "oh yeah, I do remember walking into that room". He responded, that he didn't include it on his estimate. I was annoyed, but I agreed to an increase in the cost where we basically split the difference. He said he would get a new contract out to me as soon as possible. After a day or so he asked one of his fellow sales rep who was in the area to drop by and have me review and sign the contract. I had guests at my home at the time and could not sit down and review the contract right away. He left it with me to review. That night I reviewed the contract. There was a sketch with it where it was not clear that it included a certain part of the scope. I didn't want to sign it until it was clear. I called my sales rep about the discrepancy clarified it over the phone with me and he agreed to schedule the work to be done without the contract being signed yet. (Still not having received the final contract) the soffit work was first. The work was performed during the day while I was at work. My wife was at home monitoring the process. I called her after the work was completed and she said the foreman informed her that the soffit plywood was not scoped to be removed at the garage because I have a gable vent fan in the garage attic. To this day, I'm not sure where the foreman got that from. I tried to call my sales rep but no return call. I called the main number to speak to the lady who answers the phone. She was apologetic and said she would contact my rep to get the crew to complete that portion. The next day or so per our schedule the insulation work started. I took the morning off of work to monitor this process to be sure nothing was missed. This was performed by a subcontractor who actually was on time, quick and friendly. They installed the attic baffles and blown-in insulation. They did a good job. I was waiting for a call back to have the crew complete the soffit work. I waited for a few days but no call. I called the lady at the office and asked about them coming back to finish. She said they would not come to finish unless I paid a deposit first. I told her I never got the final corrected contract with price. She sent it that day (i think). The price on the bill she sent was still the wrong price. I didn't even mention it to her thinking I had to call my rep again since she probably didn't know about the correction we discussed over the phone. I said I would pay half of the bill. She said "you've got to pay more than that to get us to come back" (I guess since 95% of the work was done). I agreed to pay 90% of the bill. After a few days I called and told the lady that I forgot to mail the check and would put in the mail that day. She said no problem. I mailed it that day. I haven't tried to call them since to finish the work. Neither have they called me. Since they didn't cut the soffit plywood in my garage, everytime I walk in there and feel how hot it is I get more and more annoyed. Through this whole ordeal I met my sales rep once and talked to him on the phone once after a number of times trying to get in touch with him for various reasons. I also sent him emails telling him that I was calling him leaving messages and I requested he call me back. He would respond to the emails with the excuse that his phone was acting screwy or that he called me back a few times and I didn't answer. I responded to his email that I have never received a call or a voicemail from him on my cell phone. One email he mentioned that he was calling my home phone. No home phone messages received from him, furthermore, I gave no one at the company any phone number but my cell phone. I told the lady that answers the phone these excuses given to me in one of our conversations. This was about 10 times more complicated than it had to be and my job was never completed.
Description of Work: 1. Installation of at least 10" of blown-in insulation at the attic. Also installation of attic baffles to keep the insulation from completely blocking the air flow from the soffit vents. 2. My house has new vinyl siding completed by the previous Owner. At the soffits the new vinyl soffit vents were installed covering up plywood at the soffits completely blocking my attic's ability to "breathe" making the attic extremely hot in the summer. I needed Integrity to go around my home and remove the vinyl soffit vents cut out all of the plywood and reinstall the vinyl vents.

From start to finish I was very impressed with Integrity's profesionalism. From the initial estimate through job completion. The crew was on time and about the bussiness of completing the job. They took extra care with the preparation and clean up of debris only taking a short break to eat breakfast. The truck with the supplies arrived at 6am as agreed and the work started shortly after. It was a well supervised job. The staff was more than willing to explain the process and show me the roof damage that had occured as a result of the years of ware and water seepage. By 11:15am they had started their clean up and they were on their way by 11:30am. They removed my existing gutters before starting the work and re-attached them more securly than originally installed. The portions of my siding that had started to fall away from the house they also fixed. I only gave them a grade B on the quality category because I made the decision to with a lesser quality shingle underlayment not because of their workmanship. I even received comments from my neighbors on how well the project went and how nice the end result looked. So glad I went with such a professional company. It makes all the differance. It's possible I could have went with a company charging less money, but as you know you get what you pay for. Major home repairs are nothing to cut corners on. Go with the best!
Description of Work: Integrity provided a complete new roof. They removed the existing shingles and facia board. They also removed rotting boards under the shingles. They replaced the flashing around the roof exhaust vents and spayed them with a sealant to match the color of my new shingles.

I found Integrity Home Pro through Angie's List and decided to call them because of their good ratings. I called them because I have a bay window that has wood on the exterior. Because of the weather, the wood will rot and instead of constantly having the wood replaced, I wanted to put siding on the window. I went to their website and set up an appointment for a consultation/quote. I later got a phone call from a representative asking me to call so that I can set up an appointment time again. It seems to me that selecting a time on their website it a waste of time because they make you do it all over again. I set up an appointment for Saturday, June 16th at 2pm. 2pm came and went. I called the office at 2:30 and it seemed that nobody was there because it kept going to voice mail. After calling two or three times, I finally left a message giving them my name, and letting them know that nobody showed up. When I return to my house later that night, I listen to my messages, and I had one from the representative that was supposed to come to my house at 2pm. He called me 2:53 pm asking if it was still a good time to come by, and that he was on 270 approaching 495. So if I was still at home at 2:53 pm, I would have had to wait for him to get from 270 to Bowie, Md, which is not a hop, skip, and a jump down the road. If he was running late, I should have received a phone call BEFORE 2 pm that day, asking if I would either wait for him to arrive, or if I would like to reschedule. Instead my precious time was wasted. This was a very bad first impression, and I will not consider this company for any repair I might need in the future.
Description of Work: Integrity Home Pro was supposed to send out a representative to give me a quote on my bay window.

I personally went to the member's house, found she was not at home but left a card and phone voice mail to her – she did call me back. We had no record of her in our system and no appointment set for any of our salespeople. I explained, if we had an appointment set, we would have sent out a confirming email with the photo of the salesperson scheduled to see her and confirmed the date and time. We want our customers to know who is coming. I asked as I am within 1 mile of her if I could help in anyway and would personally help her. We had remodeled 6 of her neighbors over the past few years. She did not want to meet as she had a family member who was going to do the work. She said she was frustrated that many other contractors she had set appointments with did not show up. She was frustrated with all contractors. It appears we were the recipient being the last on her mind as who she contacted and got a bad review being on Angie's List. She was a very unhappy woman and it could not have been just someone being late for an appointment. Her complaint was being :53 minutes late for a Saturday appointment and that someone called too late to be there. No INTEGRITY Home Pro person ever spoke to her on that day. The first time an INTEGRITY person spoke with her was when I stopped by and called personally. We were given us an F and we never did any work for her.

From the estimate, I was impressed with the detail that was given about the company and the attention paid to my need. I was given the facts regarding the age of my existing roof and that while a repair could be done, it would not be advisable because more problems would result. Ben, pointed out all of the extras that Integrity includes in their roofing jobs, and while the cost was little more than other roofing company's I had spoken with, it wasn't that extreme for what was included. The job was scheduled within a week of my decision and because there was rain forecasted for that afternoon, the crew actually arrived an hour earlier to make sure it would be completed that day. I knew going in that the FRT boards might need to be replaced which is what caused the final price to increase, but at least the finished product is more equivalent to a new roof then just replacing the shingles. The crew was neat and when I returned home, there was no evidence that they had been there other than the brand new roof! My only issue would have been the delay in follow-up regarding what the final payment would be. It was a 1/3 upfront and the balance upon completion, but with the addition of the boards, it would have been better for me to receive a call letting me know what that addition would be, versus having to call to find out. Other than that, The experience was a good one, the roof was tested by the weather over the next few days and all is dry and well.
Description of Work: The entire roof of the townhouse was replaced including all of the fire-retardant boards which makes up about 2/3 of the roof. The entire roof was stripped, boards were replaced, the liner and new shingles were then installed. The gutters were cleaned and re-hung with strong hooks. The job began at 6:30 am and the crew was done by 3pm.

The workers showed up proptly on the morning that the work was scheduled and worked throughout the day only taking a short break for lunch. The job was completed by the end of the day and the whole area was completely cleaned of all materials to include metal, naails, etc. The workers that performed the work operated like a well-ioled machine, If an area needed to be addressed by myself I was promptly consulted by the individual in charge, and the workers gladly provided responses to any questions that I had. Although initially I found the cost a little higher that I expected, I have been fully satisfied with the work since completed.
Description of Work: The estimate was performed on 5 October, work was completed shortly after accepting the estimate. Integrity agreed to remove the shingles from the roof, remove and replace bad decking wood, and replace with new shingles. In the process of installation starter strips on the eaves were installed, ice and water sheilds, and ridge vents were installed. Other items performed included pipe collars valley flashings, as well as flashing on the chimney.

Overall it went Good. There were one suprise. During the estimating cost process, the interviewer did not identify that any additional cost above the estimate would not be added to the loan but would be an separate charge. This required us to pay additional cost of pocket even though we had additional funds available on the loan which they financed. If we did not have the additional funds, the results would been different. Ask for clarifaction of any financial agreement if they finance the job for you, and show you how additional cost above the estimate would be paid. The new roof looks great!, but we are a little concern on how part of the roof fits by the chimmey, around the skylight.

With all roof replacements there is no way to estimate the plywood structure that would need to be replaced in order to secure the roofing materials. We do specifically state on all our roofing agreements the additional cost for wood that needs to be replaced and have every customer understand the additional work that may need to be done. With all roofing projects, we make a point to review this and have a signed agreement of the additional charge if needed when we replace a roof. Thanks for the overall very good report. I was pleased with the work done. They did leave a caulk gun on my roof but when I paid the balance due less $200 they promptly came and got the caulk gun off the roof. I have paid the full balance now.
Description of Work: I bought a foreclosed home that had been unoccupied for at least a year. My home inspector told me I needed a new roof gutter realignment in the front of the house, replace of downspout components, and the flange around the furance roof vent was cracked. The salesman was very polite and wore protective shoe gloves when in my house to not bring in dirt. His professional opinion was the roof was good for 3 to 5 years and did not need immediate replacement. The salesman found additional concerns with a broken shingle and an attached board for an old tv antenna on the roof. I was given a fixed cost estimate to do all repairs which I agreed to. The work was scheduled for the following week and their crews showed up on time and did the work professionally and without constant questioning.

I called and set up a time for them to come out to give us a free estimate. Ben showed up at the appointed time. He inspected our roof and gave us a couple of options, depending on how much we wanted to spend. We are selling the house, so we didn't want to put a lot of money into the roof, but did want it to pass the inspection well. We went with one of the recommendations to seal the flat roof and put new shingles on the porch which were very old and degraded. He gave us the Angie's List discount on the entire job which we felt was a fair price. On the appointed day, the roofers were punctual. They did their work efficiently and finished on time. They were friendly and professional. Ben called us the next day to make sure we were satisfied with the job they had done and answered several questions I had about the roof. I felt at all times the employees of Integrity were professional, did what they said they would and gave us a fair price for the job. I was very happy with my experience with them and would call them again.
