Poorly, with possible charges to be filed. Sean's wife set up the date, but Sean and his crew never came. After about one week my wife called to see when Sean would come (it had been raining and she assumed he was delayed due to weather). Sean's wife was sweet, and explained the weather had in fact screwed up their scheduled, and rescheduled. Still another week went by, and my wife again called Sean's wife, but this time to complain about the poor cutting of the lawn. Soon after, Sean and his crew showed up demanding to speak to the man of the house and get a face-to-face complaint, and got into a fight with my wife. My wife called Sean's wife back to explain I was deployed and did not want to tell a group of strangers she was alone, but that she felt threathened by Sean. Sean then called back and said we were "problem customers" and were being dropped. We received a bill of $180, and paid to get rid of the guy.

Response from Houston's Lawn Service
I would like to respond to this review. We tried communicating with this client to schedule the job we had contracted with them. At which point she was informed we were booked out 3 weeks on landscaping jobs. She said that was no problem and could wait for the work. At that point she began calling our company every day wanting to know when the job was going to be done because she needed it done with in a week. I told her we would do our best but there was no guarantee because of weather and other jobs that had be contracted before hers. She then again said I understand no problem. She than called me back again within two days and wanted to know when it would be done. At that point we moved other jobs to try to satisfy her needs as a client. When I went out to the property to do the work she then wanted to add more jobs. At which point I had no problem doing so but needed to rearrange the entire job. That's when she was home alone and she got aggressive with me because I needed to reschedule do to the changes. The only reason why I think she would have felt threatened is because I told her we would finish out the mowing for month and she needed to find another company. I returned back to the office where she had called my wife to discuss the situation and did not want to find another company she wanted us to do the job. My wife told her that it was in the best interest of both parties to part ways. She had no issues with the mowing of the lawn up until we had our differences over the landscaping job at that point she then started complaining about the mowing of the yard. I decided that we were not going to be able to work well together so to prevent more issues we released her from her contract with no additional charges. She was only billed for the work prior to this disagreement. She also received discounts and free mowings to try to resolve these issues. No matter what we tried to do to satisfy her, it was never good enough. I wish her well with all her endeavors in life.
