I wouldn’t recommend her because she didn’t come back and fix the things that were still not correct and I have never heard from her since then. I would not use her again.

The job took two days to complete and she needed to return on the third day to upgrade the dimmer switches at no extra charge to me. Cecilia is polite, punctual, and professional and I feel as though I made a new friend. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs professional handyman services as she does excellent work.

she went by house while i was at work and emailed me an estimate - the first time, she came and completed the work on an earlier date so i sent a check later to her.

She did a wonderful job. She provided me with a list of jobs she does and the prices. The overall experience was excellent. She was punctual, responsive, and professional.

I had a project that Ms. Moore's company wasn't able to do. (Replace a gable-end vent)...but! She was punctual in responding and forthright in admitting that this particular job wasn't exactly in her arena of expertise. I appreciate the straight up honesty and consider her and her business very professional for admitting they could not do a job rather than using me as "practice." Not only did she respond in a timely manner and admit her inability to do the job...she then gave me two other suggestions of contractors who "could" do said job! Bravo Cecilia, need more honesty and professionalism in the "handyman(WOMAN)" field!

She did great work. I would use her again. Her schedule was very hectic but she did get to the work.

Cecilia is the handy woman and she is really very good, but sometimes she has other things to do. Our basement apartment is not very sophisticated. It’s for our children and it’s kind of basic. The cabinets put in by her were not very expensive. We basically gave her the specifications and she pretty much chose the stuff. She went to a store and got all the stuff. Her choices were fine. She did a great job. She was very efficient and responsive on that. Once you have lost her, it’s hard to get her back again. I think she is pretty popular, but I don’t know. She is a very approachable person and nice to deal with. She got the materials and we paid her for the materials. So, the price was probably somewhere between $1500 and $2000. We want her to come back. She has been doing work on and off for us for almost four years. Her prices are good. We have never had to do anything very sophisticated. It’s sad when it comes to her responsiveness. When she is committed to do a job, she gets it done. She has never ever not finished what she has started. There are enough contractors who would start and leave you in the lurch, but she never does that. If she says she is coming to do it, she comes and does it. It’s always done in good timing. So, that’s much more important than she returning your phone calls. She doesn’t do what the other contractors do at all. You can let Cecilia in your house and you can be absolutely fine with that. She is absolutely fine. She is very trustworthy and very honest. I would definitely use her services in the future too if I can get a hold of her.

We were replacing all the bifold closet doors in our house and my husband was able to install all but one set himself. This last set just refused to go in, so we gave up and called Cecilia. She looked at the closet and determined that the doors were slightly too large for the opening. She gave us an estimate and we set up an appointment. Cecilia got right to work when she arrived. She took out the one door we had installed previously, carefully measured the opening, cut down one door, and installed both doors perfectly. She explained what she did and why, and gave us a 90-day guarantee.

She was very responsive when we called. She was very friendly and very efficient. Her price was also good.

Cecilia (the handywoman) did the patching and had other people do the painting. She was very friendly and helpful. The painters were not as nice, but still did a great job and cleaned up really nicely.

I asked Handywoman Services to provide an estimate-- which I found to be reasonable for the work required. Cecilia provided estimate a few days after I had first emailed her and did the work the following week. The workmanship was excellent-- it looked like there hadn't been any damage at all and the repair blends seamlessly into the rest of the original ledge. I am very satisfied with the work and Cecilia is a very pleasant and professional person.

The work turned out really well. She did really good work and we really liked her. She’s a little pricey but she was great. She did a good job and she was fast. She gave us some options of what we could do. I really liked her actually and I thought she was terrific. I really liked her personality. I thought she was very fast. I also thought she was very down to earth and very competent. She does good work but I might go to someone else cheaper the next time. I will consider using her services again in the future.

I had three minor tasks that needed addressing before I could rent out my condo. Cecilia performed all three in record time and to my satisfaction. Although the balcony work could have benefited from a bit more finesse and attention to detail (the boards are still a bit crooked), the other two jobs were fantastic and the price was even better. She was also quite friendly, easy to work with, and showed up right on time, although I almost gave up on scheduling her at all because she was very difficult to get ahold of by phone.

They responded the next day, said that they could do the work, and asked me where I was located. I responded, and asked if they could help with some additional items. I never heard back after that, so I used another company for the work.

She was very flexible with scheduling the estimate so I wouldn't have to leave work early. She was considerate to call ahead when she was running late for the estimate but she was waiting for me when I arrived, having made better time than she expected. She explained the job and provided a verbal estimate. She scheduled the job around my needs for a new range that was being delivered. Cecilia is polite, punctual, and does good work. Her work is guaranteed. She said if there were any issues jut call and she'd come back out and correct them but that hasn't been necessary.

Things went smoothly. Cecelia picked up the door at the store and showed up at 9AM. She had everything done by 4PM, even though the gazebo fan installation was tricky ( steep pitched ceiling) and she had to repair problems caused by the previous door installation. She is focussed, conscientious and cheerful. She cleaned up after herself and left the house clean. We have used her several times before, and will continue to do so.

The work was completed promptly and then how it worked was clearly explained to me. I recevied other estimates for comparison purposes and found this price to be very reasonable.

I had some odd jobs I needed done around the house and e-mailed Cecilia. She did e-mail me back and we set a date when she would come to my home and see what had to be done. She was on time and I walked her around pointing out the items that needed to be fixed. We had a nice conversation and she was very pleasant. She said she would e-mail me that night with an estimate. After a week, I e-mailed her to make sure she had my e-mail address and she e-mailed back "got it". I never heard from her again. It is now July 1 and I have had the work done by another company from Angie's List, JnD Handyman Services. They were quick to respond and came out 2 days after I called and fixed everything. I called Handywoman Services because I needed a set of pocket doors repaired. I had to wait three days for her to come by and look at the job. She told me that she couldn't fix it and the doors would have to be replaced. She also said that she knew a place that carried used doors and she would check with them to see what kind of deal she could get me. Cecilia also mentioned that she did other kinds of repairs. I showed her the front door, which needed rehanging, and a toilet that needed a new assembly. She said that she could take care of everything and she would be back in touch in two days. She was very personable and seemed knowledgeable. I have never heard back from her, although it has been more than a month. I have called her several times, only to get a recording that her voice mailbox is full and I couldn't leave a message. So the work isn't done and I paid her $30 basically to come over and introduce herself. Very, very disappointing experience.
