I would like to share my experience hiring Mr Tony Grello of G&G Plumbing to fix my master bath toilet.Tony came highly recommended by my Association. He seems to do a lot of work for the Association - to the point that the Association gave him a key to the main entrance.I hired Mr. Grello to come repair my master bathroom toilet. His initial service call happened at 8am on May 1st. Mr. Grello was prompt to arrive and diagnosed the problem with the toilet as needing a replacement fill valve and flapper. Pursuant to previous conversations with Mr. Grello, I also had a new toilet on hand in case the cost of the repairs were exceeding the cost of replacing the toilet. I asked Mr. Grello specifically to look for other problems - namely with the tank. I did so because of the age of the toilet itself. He assured me that the tank is solid and there are no other problems.Shortly after he left (5 minutes), I noticed that the connection on the new fill valve was leaking. I called Mr. Grello, and he told me to stop the water to the toilet and instruct Gene (representing the Association) to let him in my unit to correct his work.Mr. Grello returned at some point during the work day (according to his claim - around 1pm) to fix the leaking connection. He was let into my unit by Gene. I was not in the unit to supervise his work, but he claims that when he left, the toilet was in working condition with no leaks.Upon returning from work at 4:30, I observed water on my bathroom floor and some damage to the bathroom cabinet underside. Again I called Mr. Grello to come and remedy the problem. He did so, this time telling me that the tank was loose (contradicting his claim from his first service call) and that the nuts needed to be tightened. While doing so did stop the leak, he also told me that the fix is temporary, and that a more permanent solution would involve replacing the bolts, nuts and gasket, which he did not have with him at that point.Mr. Grello does not admit to causing the leak (although noone else touched the toilet that day), and furthermore, he does not think that omitting to find the problems with the toilet in the original service call, in spite of being specifically asked to, is his responsibility. He is refusing to come back to complete the work, and he is refusing to take responsibility and pay for the damages to my cabinet. In spite of my best efforts to resolve this situation amicably, Tony Grello has refused to compromise from his position.Based on my experience, I would not recommend the work of Mr. Tony Grello and his firm to anybody.
Description of Work: I contracted Tony Grello of G&G Plumbing to repair my leaky toilet repair - or replace it if it couldn't be repaired.

They replaced the knob properly, however they set it at a very low temperature. They refused to return and fix it at no charge or even come within 24 hours. I was then taking lukewarm showers in the morning as the temperature would not get any hotter. This forced me to go find another plumber at an additional charge.
