Description of Work: Cheri and four male assistants came in to pack up a lot of household items to be shipped to Weschler's Auction House in downtown DC

Description of Work: If you want professional, prompt, local moving services, Cheri Lyon an her crew did an outstanding job in moving a valuable, 1000 + pound table from Weschler's Auctions in downtown DC to my residence in Northern Virginia. Her crew is experienced and went beyond what I expected to make sure the table, once delivered, was placed exactly where I wanted it. Recommend without reservation.

Description of Work: Moved items from storage to house curb and then to long distance truck trailer. Also moved items from storage into house and furniture from house to truck.

Description of Work: Cheri Lyon and her crew moved my mother-in-law from her home into assisted living, with probably no more than 25% of the furniture and furnishings in the house making the move. Cheri provided an estimate in advance, and came on the day of the move along with her crew of three movers. They made quick and efficient work of the loading of the furniture and pre-packed boxes--and were ready to go in less than 90 minutes! The travel time was about an hour en route, and when at the assisted living facility, they quickly and very responsively brought each box and item of furniture to the proper room. They reassembled the bed with no problems, and offered to do even more than we needed them to do in terms of movement and other set-up, etc. The total time from arrival at the house to completion of all delivery was under four hours, which coincidentally was the time Cheri had estimated it would take.

Description of Work: I was cleaning out my parents house and Cheri was recommended by auctioneers from another company to pack up and transport the furniture to be auctioned. She's been in business for 20 years and does not advertise. Her business is generated by reputation and word of mouth. She and her crew were so excellent that I hired her to organize and clean out the rest of the house. She packed up and disposed of literally everything and made me make some very hard decisions about what to keep and what to let go of. Then the entire house was cleaned top to bottom which included ripping up the wall to wall carpeting, vacuuming, sweeping, washing interior windows, trashing some items, selling others and sending the rest to be donated to various organizations.
