Description of Work: For $200 they replaced an electrical box in the ceiling of the bathroom and installed a light/fan combination and installed a light over the sink. I think that was too much to charge. They also installed a 50 amp breaker in the box and installed the external plug for same. Charged $300. Again, I think that was too much to charge. I would probably use them again because they were on time, professional and kind, but really. $200 and $300 for about an hours work each time? Ouch. Knock $50 and $100 off each service respectively and I'd be giving them an A overall and an A for price. Can't do it under the circumstances.

Description of Work: We have used Birckhead Electric numerous times since 1996. The last time we used them in February, 2013 we had them replace a light fixture. They have been very responsive to our needs and we would not hesitate to use them again.

 + 0 moreThe crew showed up when scheduled and worked quickly, quietly, and very cleanly. I work at home so I was very happy that they worked so quietly. The first four hours was mostly working on the ceiling fans. They had to run new wiring for one of them. They also started the bathroom fan task and the wiring for the electric range. At the end of the first four hours, I had two new ceiling fans, one with a remote control. They cleaned up their work areas and set a time to return for the rest of the work. They returned when scheduled and again, worked quickly to finish the rest of the work. The only thing they couldn't complete during this time was the range wiring because I didn't have the new stove yet! When the stove was delivered, I called and scheduled a time to finish the work. It took a few tries before they could return to complete the hookup and test the connection. I am very happy and very satisfied with the work and would recommend them without hesitation.
Description of Work: We had a ton of electrical tasks: install two ceiling fans (removing one existing one), replace exhaust fan in the bathroom, rewire the wiring to the electric range, and check a few issues with recessed lights and other work done on the electrical panel by a previous contractor hired by the seller of our house who turned out to not be a licensed electrician.
