The only time this company was on time and came when they said was for the initial quote. After that no responses to emails, voicemail or phone calls. When I finally received a phone call back, I was given a 2-3 day time frame (for the following week) as to when they would come out and start the job. No type of follow up when that time came so will go with another company. Not professional at all.

I called the company to ask about an estimate on a fence repair. The person on the phone was rude and interrupted me and said that they do not to wooden fencing, only metal. It wasn't so much that they don't provide wooden fence repair, it was the rudeness of the person on the phone that struck me. Given the provider's temperament, I would be uncomfortable using their services even if my needs were to repair a metal fence.

A section of my fence was crushed by a tree during a big storm. The Metropolitan Fence Co came to look at it very promptly, in spite of the fact that they were responding to a lot of calls about damaged fences. I sent them the contract, and just as I was expecting a call, I noticed that they had already done the work! It was extremely well done (the insurance claims adjuster had also seen their work and thought it was oustanding)--and now, a year and a half later, the fence is still in great shape.

Price was excellent and Metro were perfectly willing to make maximum use of existing supports. Work was exactly as specified and they took care of some unforeseen problems resetting posts. The unexpected work did not increase the cost. Very honest and reputable. They made the whole experience easy and pleasant.

I found the estimate expensive in comparison to other quotes. I was working with a budget and they could not come within that range. The salesperson was late. He did not call me to say he would be late. He was not prepared. He did not give me an estimate then and there. He had to email me the estimate.

I had no trouble getting an estimate, scheduling the work or anything else. The only other estimate I received was by telephone for at least $1000.00 which I was told was their minimum price. I was completely satisfied with all aspects of the job. The fence repair looks great and I felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was needed.
