It was a beautiful job.

Job was professionally done, on time, and as promised. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

They were good and he is a knowledgeable roofer. He is experienced with slate roofing. They came on time and finished when they were supposed to. They do tend to be busy and you have to wait a little while. They cleaned up when they were finished. They were very professional and reasonably priced.

Awesome service.

First time I called Mr. Griffin, I said I thought I needed flashing repaired, but would accept his judgment on whether we needed a new roof. He said he was to be out of town a week and would call Wednesday when he got back. He did not. I called Thursday and left a message. He called back Friday, wanting to come that day. I said my wife was not working that day but would be in and out and gave him her cell number. She turned her phone off at a doctors appointment, and forgot to turn it back on. She told me to return his messages late that afternoon and I did. On Tuesday I called again and said that I couldn't understand why he was not returning my phone calls. Since he was always unreachable or unavailable, I said I'd find someone else on Angie's List. He called back immediately, rather belligerent. I said, OK, and asked if he could come any day after 3:30PM. He said no; he was unavailable after 3:30. I said I would find someone else.

The owner came and did the job for us. He is very knowledgeable about the roofing business and answered all our questions. I had called around and he had the best price around. I would recommend them.

This is a long-time, well-respected and very professional company. They take great pride in their work, and they should. The work is meticulous. The owner is so, so knowledgeable. I am so thankful that I fund them through Angie's List.

The man who came out was very knowledgeable. His father actually did the actual roofs in the neighborhood back in the 30's. The only drawback was the price as he only wanted to put on copper flashing.

They are very good.

I left a message on the answering machine around 3:45 pm and received a call back within a couple of hours. I explained that I wanted to have a slate roof inspected and that a flat porch roof appeared to need repairs. Mr. Griffin said he thought he could come and look the next day and would call before he came. He rang my bell around 10 the next morning and said since he was in the neighborhood he took a chance on stopping by. He inspected both roofs, fixed one loose slate and told me not to do anything with my flat roof. He explained in easy to understand language the problems created by the previous roof repair done be another company. He did not charge for the visit. I would definitely use this contractor again since he was very responsive, explained things well, and did not suggest unnecessary repairs. One of my neighbors has also had good experiences with him.

MR. GRIFFIN, THE OWNER, IS AN EXTREMELY EXPERIENCED ROOFER. HE HAS DONE COUNTLESS HOUSES IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I GOT HIS NAME FROM AND NEIGHBOR AND A REAL ESTATE AGENT WHO SELLS HOMES IN OUR AREA. MR. GRIFFIN WENT UP ON MY ROOF HIMSELF TO CHECK THE PROBLEM, UNLIKE SOME OF THE ROOFERS WHO WILL SEND AN ESTIMATOR AND THEN GET BACK TO YOU WITH THE COST. I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETE. ALSO, MR. GRIFFIN PATCHED SOME SMALL HOLES WE HAD IN THE ROOF FOR NO ADDITIONAL COST. HIS WORKERS WERE COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER EACH DAY'S WORK.
