Serra Stone built us a beautiful stone patio after demolishing an existing raised garden that was unused. They had a great attention to detail and made sure the patio was perfect. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking.

I call to request an appointment for someone to come and see the work and provide an estimate. I was asked the location of the job and I said Lanham, the lady immediately said and quot;oh sorry we do not server that areaand quot; then she said how far was it from DC. You would expect that they would have a map of all cities within there geographic location and would have mastered the cities that are close. Lanham is about 15 miles from Bethesda where they are located. Well, after explaining that am only 12-15 miles away, I was placed on hold for about 2-3 minutes. Someone else comes on to take my information - we are pretty much done and we were trying to agree on a date and time, I was placed on hold to double check a their schedule, she comes back and ask what type of job I had. i explained, I was placed on hold again, she returns to tell me they don't do foundation work. Are you sure you really want to do business with this people?

I have had them work on my garden for several years and they have alwasy done satisfactory work.

Serra did an absolutely outstanding job for us building a large flagstone patio, walkway, and stone wall. From start to finish, our experience with them was just super and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Serra, our project manager David Jacinto, and their crew. David is very exacting, professional and particular: he came to the site at least 3 times before we signed the contract to answer every question and go over every detail. He was patient, professional, and meticulous in his planning and measurements, and it was a joy to work with him. My husband and I concluded that he was the perfect customer service guy: every time an issue or question came up he resolved quickly, fairly and reasonably. It was a big project that took more than a month to complete, but their crew came every day without fail to work in 95 degree weather. Jose the team leader and his team clearly take great pride in their work: I didn't think you could lay flagstone as tightly and neatly as they did. As a bonus, they were so friendly and kept everything very tidy. We are a bit picky aesthetically, and they more than delivered. As requested, our stone wall looks just like a dry-stack wall although it is in fact 4" veneer set in concrete. They carefully made all the drainage holes disappear; managed to find aged flagstone for our walkway to make it match the existing 15 year old one; pulled up and redid a step we didn't like without any complaint. We would hire them again in a second.
