The technician was very professional. He did not waste time. I was pleased with the work done and would hire them again.

Overall, we are very pleased. The work was done as advertised at the price that we were quoted. It wasn't the cheapest quote that we received, but there were no hidden costs or nightmare add-ons. Any issues that arose, and they always do in a remodel, were handled professionally and in consultation with us. James is an excellent craftsman and helped at every stage. He came everyday, on time, and really became part of the family. When we do anything else again in our home, we will use James.

I was able to call Mr. Handyman one afternoon, and have a 8am appointment for the very next day scheduled, and the responsiveness was very much appreciated. (The handyman actually arrived at about 8:20 the next morning without giving me a heads-up, which was a little inconvenient since I was delaying my commute to work to meet him...but ultimately I felt this was still in the general window of what was acceptable. One couldn't claim "excellent" punctuality - but certainly still "good" for a rush hour appt I felt...) It turned out that he could not fix the screen door without specific parts from the manufacturer - which I was afraid of. I appreciated his honesty on this matter. In what was a very helpful gesture, he offered to go to Home Depot (where the door was purchased) for me right then and there, to see if he could acquire the part. If he could - he would come right back and make the repair. This would allow me to leave and get on with my workday...and possibly come home to a fixed door. I agreed to his offer - but - sadly - the part itself was not available (he called me while on my commute to report his findings). Our transaction pretty much ended there. I'll need to order the part from the manufacturer - and once I do that and have it in hand - I would certainly consider bringing them back to install it for me. I also thought it was quite nice of the company to ultimately charge me less than half of the quoted hourly rate for the visit. (Estimates are not offered for free, as it clearly states on their Angie's List profile). They decided to do this, since no work was performed. I very much appreciated their unsolicited offer to do this for me. That's great forward-thinking customer service, and told me a lot about the company. Thus - the visit (although no actual repair work was done) cost me just $62. Again, I appreciated their efforts on my behalf to fix the door...and I don't see any particular reason why I would not reach out to them in the future.

They were great and I paid them a little extra because we wanted to finish what we were starting. It was a little more than I had expected but it was done properly. The guy had a broad range of experience. He knew a little bit about everything. I would call them again.

Appointment was for 8:00 but he got caught in traffic and was a little bit late. However, when Sean arrived he went right to work and didn't stop until the entire front and back windows were done. He was very professional and knew exactly what was required. I couldn't have asked for better service. Great job Sean!!!

They did not fix my TV like they were supposed to,I called them to come back out they never come at the scheduled time to complete services.

Not a fan. Did not work on other projects while I went to Home Depot, so I had to pay for extra time. The door product he recommended for insulation does not work, keeps coming off. Now I will need to pay someone else to come and fix it.

Fantastic. James worked fast. Did everything I asked him to do. He had problems with a couple of the lights, but he worked out all of the problems to make the fixtures work.

They already finished the painting job and it was about $5000. The quote process was fine. They made and appointment and they came. They checked and made a list of everything. It took a while to get the quote; it took over a week to get the quote. They were very detailed. They were here when they said they would be. They call if they have a problem. They have a very good service.

They caulked around the edge of my bathtub and re-glazed a small area around the drain. He also washed a small window in my bathroom. He used my caulk that I had bought for the project. He left for an hour to purchase some materials that he should have brought with him, and I was charged for that hour.

The job was done well and the handyman was competent, professional and pleasant to work with.

This company is A++++++.Amazing from start to finish. Our technician was named Sean and he fixed so many things in my house-he discovered easy fixes for things that I thought couldnt be fixed. I had all the supplies all organized when he arrived and he did not waste any time. The best handyman company I have ever used!

The technicians did a very good job and cleaned up after their work. I called them to set up an appointment to perform some inside painting and carpentry work. The appointment was originally scheduled for 8:00 AM Wednesday, but something came up and I rescheduled the appointment to 4:30 PM the following Monday through their main office. The local office manager in Gaithersburg called me back to reschedule the appointment since they have no technicians after 4:00 PM. I was a bit taken back by the tone of his voice when I requested either an earlier or later meeting time since both my wife and I are working professionals. Hence, I did not use them for the additional work. I found that their working hours are not flexible to accommodate those of us that have to work during the week.

The person they sent did not do a good job and was not responsive to our needs.

DISORGANIZED and appeared they didn't know who they were talking to. The original appointment wasn't held, and when Neil called to reschedule, he asked me if I already purchased the materials (???). I had to remind him they never came out in the first place, and the purpose of his call should have been to reschedule. He said he needed to call me back, and was just short of rude. Once someone came out, we were told the materials needed were no longer made, therefore they would need to rent a machine (at our cost) to make it, and someone would get back to me with an estimate to do the work. One week later we finally got a call. In the interim, we met with two other contractors who said the materials were not problem. With all of the other wonderful reviews on Angie's List, I must say I'm confused and extremely disappointed, but I couldn't, in any good conscience, recommend this company.

It was great. The price was a little higher than we hoped to spend but it was also done really well so we had no complaints.

They had good honesty and good communication even though I am deaf and blind. They charge by the hour plus any items to buy. It was good work, except the guy accidentally hit the water pipe. It's new, but broken. The other guy came to fix it with a new piece of pipe and elbow. Then they put in insulation and drywall professionally. All of them wear red shirts to identify themselves as professional handymen, I liked this.

They are excellent. They find problems for me that I can't figure out. They are courteous, professional, and punctual to a fault. I can't say enough good things about their company. I would recommend them to anyone. They charge about $168/hour. I know them by first names now. A lot of times my husband isn't here and I'm here by myself, I feel so safe and comfortable with them coming in my home. They go above and beyond what they are so supposed to do.

They were excellent. We definitely intend to call them back. I used the Angie's List coupon for 4 hours and then we needed him for another 4 hours so it was quite an expensive day but it was worth it. We were very pleased with everything he did and he was extremely professional. Everything he did was excellent. He was wonderful. He knew what to do and we gave him a variety of tasks. His name was Max.

The person they sent did a good job and was very professional. He went over my to-do list with me, and we prioritized the tasks. But, in the end, he got everything accomplished. (He was here for 4 hrs.) Their normal rates are a bit pricey. But, if you can find a coupon on Angie's list, you can get a better deal. I have some work I need done in the next months, and I plan to use them again.

Overall, the work was good, but sloppy and he refused to do some of the work. The handyman arrived 90 minutes early at 7:30 AM. Needless to say, I was not happy with this. I contacted the dispatcher who claimed that that they had rescheduled the time and called, but we did not get any call. I told the handyman to return at 9:00 AM. He did return and performed the repairs. He replaced the fan, but there was some insulation falling out of the ceiling. He swept up some of the insulation, but left a lot behind, which I had to clean up later. Likewise, he replaced the weatherstripping, but left many nails lying around, which upset me because I have a small child at home. He repaired the cabinet, but refused to do the doors saying that it could not be done. Later I did it myself with a few shims and a plane.

Their office called me twice the week before the service was scheduled and told me that the handyman would arrive at 8 a.m. By 10:00 they had still not arrived and when I called the office I was told that they weren't sure why my the handyman had not arrived. They said the owner would call back in about 30 minutes. No one called. After 45 minutes I called again and was told that they didn't know why my appointment time had been changed and they weren't sure that they could get someone there that day. I said that if they couldn't get someone to my house by 2 p.m. I would just find someone else to do the work. A handyman finally arrived around noon. One he got there, the handyman (Jose) did a great job and I was very pleased with the work and the price. I would use this company again but ONLY if they could promise to show up on time.

It went very well. While the worker was here, we kept thinking of more and more things which needed to be done, and he performed all tasks professionally and cheerfully. We were very pleased.
