 + -1 moreKaren Conlan is the best realtor my wife and I have ever worked with (and there have been quite a few over the years). We arrived from France with two kids and two cats on August first and started looking for a house with Karen on August 6. At that point, we were more inclined to rent than to buy. But Karen patiently showed us houses to rent and buy even while all Hell was breaking loose in the credit markets and we kept changing our minds. And then when we found a deal to buy that we didn't want to pass up, the jumbo loan market was put on hold and it was almost impossible for anyone--regardless of credit rating--to get good rates on financing. But Karen was relentless and found us a good deal. In addition to her diligence, courtesy, and honesty, Karen has many years of experience in the Bethesda/Rockville area and knows her stuff. My wife and I highly recommend Karen Conlan.
Description of Work: As a buyer's agent, Karen Conlan represented my wife and me in the purchase of a house. She arranged to see houses, verify information, make appropriate decisions, negotiate price and other details, find financing, fill out the necessary bundle of paperwork, oversee the house inspection, and arranged and participated in the closing.

 + -1 moreOutstanding. Karen's instructions were right on. They required a lot of work on our part but the result was better than we ever imagined. Karen has been a real estate agent in Montgomery County for decades and has impeccable judgment.
Description of Work: Karen was our real estate agent when we sold our house in Potomac. She made several recommendations on what we needed to do to prepare our house to receive the best possible price. We followed her instructions, she held one open house. We had 5 offers and a contract with no contingencies in less than one week after it went on the market.
