Left everything very neat. Blew all the dead leaves from my lawn.

I have used A Better Lawn Service for six years now. They bring a team of men and professional lawn mowing equipment. They cut the lawns of many houses in the neighborhood. Both my next door neighbors use them. As a result I end up with a very clean straight lawn trimming. A Better Lawn Service also does my spring and fall mulching, removes weeds from the flower beds and trims the bushes. I also use the firm for fall leaf clean-up The team is very hard working and over the years they have gone beyond their normal service to improve my yard. For example, the spring after the large snow storm a large red plum tree was uprooted and died due the weight of the ice. While I had tree cut down, the root base was still embedded in the ground. Without my asking or knowing, three of their men using ropes and shovels removed the trunk and attached roots. They did not charge for the effort. The only area weakness is that the owner does not return phone calls. He just responds to the request. [I suspect this could be because he may not feel comfortable in his English proficiency which is his second language.] This has only gotten frustrating at fall leaf clean-up when the county is preparing to pick up the leaves from the curb and I am not sure he received my phone message or not. In the end A Better Lawn Service has always come through and completed the fall leaf clean up before the county swept the leaves.

I like the work that they do. They do a good job. The people who come and do the work seem friendly and professional. They could improve on their communication because there is a tendency to not return phone calls. They were also supposed to do the leaves. I called them repeatedly, but their voice mail was full and they never called back. That was my problem with them. They blow the whole area clean after they mow, but trying to get them on the phone is pretty hard. They come out as needed and they will even drive by sometimes. If the lawn doesn't need mowing, then they won't do it. I paid them $40 for the last service. For now, I would use them again in the future.
