Description of Work: We had worked up to a long needed replacement of the exterior of our home. We did our due diligence and had several companies look at the project. Ken was the first one to show up to review the project and the first to submit a proposal (in less than a week). Ken was initially our 2nd choice due to price and a roof improvement concept that I had stuck in my head. When I asked a question of the other company in the first week, they realized that they had made a major error in the proposal and withdrew it before a contract was presented. The new price was substantially greater. So, we dropped them and contacted Ken feeling bad because we had already told him we had chosen someone else. He was very professional and said that he was actually disappointed as he thought that the project was what his company excelled at. He talked me out of the roof issue saying it was not needed. For a reason related to Ocean City and FEMA (the 50% rule), we had to scale the project back in scope and materials. We made new selections and revised the project. Through all of this Ken was professional and guiding. The project included new siding, doors, roof, windows, and sky lights. Like I said, the entire exterior. The only hitches in the actual project once it got going were related to a nasty winter and had nothing to do with Ken's company.

Description of Work: Walsh Home Improvement has done a lot of home improvement projects on our home for several years now. We always call them back, when we need work done on the house.

Description of Work: Removed wooden decking and steps from small porch and medium size deck. Replaced with Fiberon composite and trimmed with Azek. | |Their work is outstanding; my standards are high and I am fully satisfied with their results. There were some minor problems with scheduling, but I acknowledge that I do not see the schedule from their perspective. I have used them twice and without question would use them again.

Description of Work: They gave us an estimate for a deck off the second floor. They did not explain how they would do it, what materials they would use, etc. we don't think they really wanted the job as the testimonials they promised never came. They never got back to us. We went with Vasco.

Description of Work: I had an estimate done by Walsh, it was Mr. Walsh himself. I called several months later to talk to him about it and left a message on their recorder. I waited several weeks and called again but my calls were not returned. I do not do business with people like that so I threw away the estimate

Description of Work: Walsh Home Improvements repaired structural beams underneath a 5-unit townhouse complex in Ocean City, MD.

Description of Work: We hired WALSH HOME IMPROVEMENT to full remodel out kitchen, bathrooms, and many other projects around our home. We are completly satisfied with our experience. The Walsh's where very prompt and detail oreinted throughout the entire job. I cant say enough good things about this company. In this area it is extremly hard to find a contractor to show up let alone do a good job. Thank you so much WALSH HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Description of Work: Had vinyl siding and gutters installed.

Description of Work: Installed Pergo hardwood flooring in den, foyer, two downstairs halls, bathroom, utility room, dining room and kitchen. Designed and constructed an 8' x 12' kitchen eating area extension. This entailed construction from the ground up - excavation, foundation, drywall, insulation, windows & skylights, electrical, painting, finishing, roofing & guttering. Partial kitchen cabinet remodeling. Sanding down and restoring/repainting the remaining cabinetry to a better than new appearance.
